OUR BOOKING PROCESS (for Wedding Wire couples)
- Send us an inquiry message. Be sure to include: name, wedding date, amount of guests, venue, and any additional detail you desire to share.
- Once we reviewed your information and the date availability, we'll send you a link to schedule your Consultation Meeting with our Wedding Planner.
- Consultation Meetings are held via Zoom app and have a $50 cost that will be credited to the deposit of your selected service.
OUR WEDDING WIRE DEAL
- For all of our Wedding Wire couples we will honor a 15% discount when booking any of our services in the first 3 days after the Consultation Meeting.

The BEST wedding planner! Helped to make our day PERFECT!
They held multiple meetings with us via zoom, met with us twice in person for food tastings and site review when we happened to be in Puerto Rico last minute. On our wedding day, they remained with us, helped through getting ready, photos and the ceremony. I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day because they took care of it all. I put my trust in them and they really delivered to help us create the wedding of our dreams and we truly enjoyed every moment of the planning process and of our wedding day thanks to Handcrafted!! Liliana Albizu Lizardi, is a certified wedding planner and founder of Handcrafted Weds & Events, Inc.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico she has specialized in crafting hi-end wedding events for Puerto Rican couples living abroad (the “Diaspora Boricua”). Her expertise is providing a fun and reliable planning process tailored to the couple’s needs, to showcase the Island’s culture. She is known for her attention to details and systems-oriented mindset.
With over 12 years of experience in the event industry she has access to the network of local event-industry pros to unlock the best that the Island has to offer. Her event portfolio also includes distinguished clients such as: Ikea, Procter & Gamble, Ferrero Caribe, Total Petroleum, DirecTV, Marriott, McCain, US Department of Commerce, BDO, Pan Pepin and the Puerto Rico House of Representatives. Liliana has acted as guest speaker at the Preston Bailey-Protégé Workshop, and has co-produced the San Juan Wedding Week. Her work has been featured in magazines and blogs, such as Esposa Moderna, Magacin, Revista Mirame Siempre, Style Me Pretty, and Iconos Mag, among others.
She is a true advocate for the economic development of the Island, and through her passion for events, aims to contribute to the Island’s economy.
Cristina Gallardo Otero
With more than 7 years of experience in Project Management, Cristina is part of the Handcrafted Team managing the most important aspect of the wedding planning process: the Vendors.
She serves as a liason between vendors and couples to make sure everyone is booked properly, and nobody forgets any detail of the wedding.
Cristina is in charge of:
- Communicating with vendors: for quotes inquiries, booking process, and contract revisions.
- Meeting scheduling: for couples to meet their vendors, and experience tastings and trials.
From cake tasting, to meeting with the decorator, to food tasting and choosing the photographer, entertaining and so much more, she will always be able to find the right company within the price range.
