Working with HALU was amazing! The arrangements, bouquets, haku lei… everything was perfect and better than anything I could have imagined! Honestly- I have no knowledge on types of flowers and working with Takako I learned so much. I had probably the most in-depth calls with Takako out of all my vendors and that’s because she was so thorough on flowers I wanted, the flowers that would work, and more. She was so patient with me, even as I was googling the types of flowers she was saying haha. The arrangements we had were so beautiful, and she had this amazing idea to incorporate my grandmother’s favorite flowers into my bouquet after I told her a story of the plumeria tree in front of my grandmas house in Hawaii. She was so thoughtful with every piece and made me feel like I had a piece of my grandmother with me the whole day. I sent her pictures of designs I wanted and she executed them even better! I kept getting so many compliments on my bouquet, my haku lei, and the tropical flowers at the tables. I live in california, so I did not want to see roses and Takako was a rockstar because she put together the most beautiful tropical flowers! She is so knowledgeable, so experienced, patient, kind, and makes beautiful arrangements. When you choose HALU, you are putting your florals in trusted hands and you’ll get beautiful results!

Takako did an amazing job with our florals. We asked for a tropical look and boy did she DELIVER!!! [Insert hand clapping emoji] It was a destination wedding and she did a video chat with me and I gave her all my favorite flowers and sent her inspiration pictures and she brought my dreams to reality. I think the pictures speak for themselves on how beautiful everything turned out!!!

I contacted HALU Hawaii five months before my wedding and since Hawaii was still in Tier 2, it was hard to plan what could be for my wedding day. However, Takako was very professional and was open and responsive to any kind of changes that I requested.

I knew I wanted anemones for my bouquet and when I saw a centerpiece that HALU Hawaii reposted on her Instagram, I fell in love. I requested to have the same centerpiece but with some differences in flowers and Takako delivered. All of the flowers were beautiful and I couldn't have been happier.

Since Hawaii weddings were opening up again, I had requested my centerpieces to also be served as the ceremony aisle flowers. HALU Hawaii knew exactly what to do and even helped to set up the centerpieces on top of our tables. I am so grateful for Takako's creativity and professionalism. I couldn't be happier with her creations.

My family took my centerpieces home after the wedding and used it as decoration for my grandparent's 65th anniversary drive thru celebration. I'm so glad they were not only used once, but twice for two very special occasions.

I will definitely be ordering more flowers from HALU Hawaii in the future.

I'm very glad to have HALU Flowers Hawaii to be our florist/stylist of our destination wedding at Ko'olau Ballroms Outdoor Garden in Oahu. I planned my O'ahu wedding from the mainland (Maryland) . I had Pinterest floral inspos online for my tropical romance themed wedding and Takako also made some great suggestions and really brought my exact vision to life! She took care and delivered my Bride bouquet, Groom maile lei, Groomsmen boutounerries, bridesmaids bouquet, arch drape, arch flowers, flower centerpieces, cake flowers, aisle petals and even the pineapples (that were part of my ceremony aisle decor) based on our Pinterest inpo pics. This review is soo late, but I can't thank Takako at Halu Flowers enough for our wedding. I met with a few different vendors prior to booking Takako and out of all of them she made me the most comfortable. I had no clue in terms of what I wanted for my wedding. I just knew that I wanted beautiful, tropical, romantic flowers. Takako was so patient with me as I finally came around to the color scheme and vibe of the wedding. She listened to me and took every detail I gave her into account.

Also I had a very tight budget and she worked with me to make the most out of what I had. I couldn't have thanked her enough. Wedding planning was super stressful for me, but she definitely was my super hero.

I cannot recommend Halu flowers enough! Takako was extremely helpful with our floral needs for our wedding. Her prices were the best we could find, she was flexible, and very responsive as far as communication. She completely understood what I was looking for as far as vision/theme, and my husband loved everything as well!

I feel so lucky that I stumbled upon HALU flowers while researching wedding flowers, because Takako is truly talented! Takako provided flowers for our wedding arch, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres. All of the flowers turned out beautifully, even more so than the Pinterest inspo pictures I’ve provided her with. She also incorporated lovely smelling flowers like pikake into the bouquets, which was a very thoughtful touch! From the start, Takako was very responsive and patient with all of my inquires and provided transparent pricing for the items being requested. Planning a wedding and securing a trusted wedding vendor can be a stressful experience, but Takako’s responsiveness and her clear communication always assured me that my wedding flowers were in good hands. On our wedding day, Takako delivered flowers right on time and set up the arch beautifully. Even our wedding photographer remarked at the beautiful flowers and wanted to know who our flower vendor was! Halu Flowers was very stylish and professional. They were able to meet our floral requests with amazing style and an even better price. They just didn't deliver flowers.
