As a Long Island Event Designer and Planner, we were thrilled to design and plan a wedding at Hallockville Museum Farm in September, 2014. The space is simple and rustic yet breathtaking. Because the space is completely raw there was a lot to be done but the Barn's Assistant Director, Beth was extremely thorough and helpful throughout the planning process. The picture perfect location for a rustic chic, do it yourself wedding venue. The staff there is helpful, understanding & continuously goes the extra mile to make your vision of your perfect day come true! It was absolutely amazing & made my dream wedding come to life. From the barn to the fields, we captured every moment with our own touches on the day. It was magical!

I have officiated weddings at Hallockville Museum Farm, and I have always been amazed at how different they have been. This venue has a beautiful, rustic, classic North Fork/ New England feel. The barn can be utilized in so many different ways - it is as unique as the couple who gets married there. The barn is a "blank slate" and we were thrilled to be able to have our wedding here, with our creative D.I.Y. juices flowing! Hallockville has both a formal and casual feel ... we were so grateful to have our wedding here. The staff (Beth and Herb) are fantastic and they are committed to making sure your special day is unlike any other. When searching for a wedding venue here on Long Island, my Fiance and I knew we wanted something unique that would represent our laid-back personalities and rustic style. Upon our first walk through at Hallockville Museum Farm I just knew that was the place were I wanted our wedding reception to be. Fastforward a year (almost to the date!) to our absolutely amazing wedding reception at Hallockville. The barn and the museum farm grounds were the perfect setting and backdrop for our Barn Wedding. I will say that having a barn wedding requires a TON of work and planning, and you must bring every single thing in (and then back out) of the barn - this includes: catering, music, tent/table/chairs, decor, etc. It was a lot of work but it was so worth it! The outcome far exceeded my wedding dreams. Beth, the Assistant Director of Hallockville was incredibly helpful and super responsive - it made the planning and coordinating that much easier. If you're looking for something a bit different and rustic then I most definitely recommend Hallockville Museum Farm for your wedding.

One last thing, because this wedding (as most barn weddings are) was DIY, and we had to bring everything in, I had a ton of questions and spent a decent amount of time trying to search for answers online. Hallockville is gorgeous! The beauty and history of the barn and its contents speak for themselves. We wanted a wedding that was warm, inviting and spoke to the natural beauty of the north fork in the fall. That's what we got! Beth was very responsive and accommodated us well. Almost all of the antiques can be placed where you'd like them and incorporated into the decor of your wedding. It doesn't take much else to make it amazing. If you are organized enough to coordinate rentals and vendors this is the place to have a gorgeous natural event.

Great place to have a barn wedding. We had our reception in the barn and couldn't have been happier. Herb was great to work with and made the process so easy. Beth was a pleasure and was so helpful. They accommodated us whenever we needed something.

I had my wedding here during the summer and it was ruined. Beth and Herb are NOT business people and have no idea how to normally talk to people. Herb harassed the guests the whole day and I was humiliated. It's beautiful but not worth the stress.
