History
Originally built in 1863 by Captain Jedediah Hawkins, this Inn was inspired by Italian architecture and was once known as one of the finest residences on North Fork. In the 1980s, the property fell into despair and was labeled haunted by local residents. The home was meticulously restored and opened to the public as a luxurious boutique hotel, restaurant, and speakeasy in 2005.

Jedediah Hawkins Inn is a beautiful venue set on 22 acres of gardens and open space. The outdoor ceremony location is such a perfect setting for an intimate wedding and the barn is amazing. The food at Jedediah is impeccable and the staff are helpful, organized and friendly. I would highly recommend Jedediah Hawkins Inn to anyone looking to find a unique venue on the North Fork.
I cannot say enough good things about Jedediah Hawkins Inn! We go to a lot of venues- a different one basically every week. There's was hands down our favorite EVER. Everything is so lovely, unique, and special- but most importantly, the staff is insanely attentive and the wedding day went off without a hitch. It was also the first time as vendors that we've been treated like actual people. It was wonderful. They were so supportive not only of the bride & groom, but of their vendors (us!) too. That is just the icing on the cake of what is a stunning place to get married. If I was doing my wedding over again, I would do it here.
Simply one of the BEST hidden secrets on the east end of Long Island. Unique, charming and nestled on the most luscious property. Not only is the food and staff top notch, the location includes weeping willows, a secluded pond, barn, gorgeous sleeping quarters and a picturesque estate. The photographic opportunities are endless. One of my very favorite spots for photographing wedding preparation and intimate weddings. It's worth the trip to visit, even if just for dinner. A + 5 *
