Hair Unique was the perfect start to the most perfect day! My makeup and hair, done by Isabelle, was flawless! Every artist that worked with us was so nice and so talented, we had so much fun getting ready! Thank you so much for making me, my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law look and feel absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day and at a great value! We stayed at the Hilton Mystic and were able to walk to the salon for hair and makeup, which was so convenient. We were able to bring in food and drinks and they were very accommodating! The newly renovated salon looked great in photos and videos and they were able to work on multiple bridesmaids at one time, which meant we didn't have to get there super early in the morning. The morning of our wedding day was stress-free because of the amazing team at Hair Unique! I can't recommend them enough for wedding party hair and makeup in the Mystic/Stonington area!

The ladies at Hair Unique were incredible in accommodating my bridal party. Kathy made the scheduling process easy: she scheduled individual hair and makeup appointments for each of my seven bridesmaids, myself, and my mom well in advance of the big day. On the day itself, they allowed us to take over part of the salon so we could hang out together while each girl got her hair or makeup done. Each girl had a picture of the style she wanted, and the stylists delivered! The ladies looked STUNNING-- the makeup was enough to notice, but really only enhanced their natural beauty. Sarah did my hair, which turned out beautifully. I had done a hair trial with her a few months earlier, and she was able to recreate the very intricate braids perfectly. Amy did my makeup, which I received compliments on all night. They both made me feel spectacular on my special day, and I would highly recommend the ladies at Hair Unique!

We booked 7 of us to come into the salon at the same time for the wedding day which worked out nicely because we were staying at the Comfort Inn which is practically right next door. Everyone was finished very quickly and they even accommodated a couple family members who wanted a quick styling without an appointment. They were great with kids too. Our two flower girls felt like little princesses! It took me two hair trials to be happy but day of my hair looked great! It had some looser curled pieces in the back that didn't last the night but my hair is straight and it rained all day so I'm not really surprised. If you are getting married in the area and want to have the experience of everyone going out to the salon together, give them a call.

Moreen did my hair for my wedding, and she was phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for better. She went out of her way to schedule my trial, and then again (on her day off! ) to do my wedding hair. She let my bridesmaids and mothers come as well with donuts and drinks, and we just had an amazing time getting ready. My hair was flawless for the whole day, and my thin hair never holds! She made me feel like a princess. 110% I will go here for everything.

Maureen did an incredible up-do for my wedding -- fairy glitter and all! And she agreed to drive all the way in to the salon to do my hair early on a Sunday morning when the business was closed! I couldn't have asked for more!

They were awesome! I highly recommend. As a bride, I certainly looked the most beautiful I've ever looked. I had hair and makeup done, on a Sunday, which was amazing, because they are technically closed, so we had the place to ourselves. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning and early afternoon of my wedding day. Exceptional service!

When I went for my trial they were great about being patient to get the style just right but my curls were not done the same as the day if the ceremony and then all the curls fell out. The people were great to work with and friendly but I was so disappointed my hair fell out and somebody my pictures have my hair looking a mess on such an important day. My bridesmaids hair turned out great though! I just wish since my first trial was exactly what my hair was for the wedding they would have offered me another but you have to pay for each individually.
