KARA IS AMAZING! I was SO extremely nervous to wear my hair in an up-do for my wedding. I always have my hair down, however I was set on wearing it up for the big day.
For months leading up to the wedding, I kept thinking that I would change my mind last minute and wear it down with wavy curls, but that all changed after my trial hair. I LOVED IT! I showed Kara a picture I found, and she completely surpassed all of my expectations. My up-do looked even better than the image I showed her.

The day of the wedding was exactly the same as the trial, the same unbelievable gorgeous up-do. It was exactly what I was looking for, somewhat whimsical, with braids intertwined throughout the up-do, and volume! I was so in love with it when I looked in the mirror that I honestly teared up!

Kara is extremely professional, was early for all appointments & the big day, communicated promptly, and overall she is just a wonderful person to work with.

Kara gave me exactly what I imagined for my hair on my wedding day! She is wonderful to work with and gave beautiful hairstyles for my bridesmaids. She is accommodating as she arrived early at our wedding venue and styled all of our hair leading up to our ceremony. Just wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Kara is a sweet high school friend who came all the way to North Carolina to do my and my moms wedding day hair. She came to the venue and helped the day run so smoothly by working quickly and in the midst of getting ready chaos! My hair was EXACTLY what I wanted, and both my mom’s and my hair stayed perfectly in place all day. Definitely get Kara to do your wedding, prom, or anytime hair!

Kara did my hair for my wedding, and I was so happy with the results! She was very flexible with my schedule, even when things had to be changed last minute she had no problem working with me on it! Kara was extremely professional and open to my ideas and changes. Being an out of town bride, Kara was super flexible with my availability - we had a trial in her adorable home, and my mom came along for a MOB trial. The morning of the wedding, Kara was right on time and brought an assistant to meet my time crunch for a 2pm ceremony. She made me feel at ease and knocked it out of the park with all of my bridesmaids and mom! Not to mention - my hair was stunning. Absolutely stunning. Kara is the sweetest and most easy going, plus she has this super cool magnetic bracelet for bobby pins! Thanks SO much for everything Kara!

I cannot recommend Kara enough for your wedding day! Kara and her assistant did my hair, my 6 bridesmaids and both of our mothers. I was not specific about styles for my wedding party, and everyone definitely had their own thoughts and requests that day. Kara totally rolled with the punches and gave everyone a style that they each loved and felt beautiful wearing. While I knew that I wanted an updo, I didn't have a specific vision in mind at first. Kara did a great job talking me through the trial to figure out the perfect look on the wedding day! In addition to her talent, Kara is such a genuine person and was so easy to work with. She's also very reasonably priced compared to many other vendors, without sacrificing any of the quality. Seriously, what's not to love?!

Kara and her team were outstanding. Not being from the Beaver area, I was nervous to find an affordable, creative, and trustworthy hair team and Kara Burnell delivered that and much, much more! She conducted a trial with me about a month before the event which made me very comfortable and excited! The day of her team was punctual and professional and was able to complete 8 hairdos in only a few hours! Her pricing is great and she is willing to travel. I highly suggest Kara! Kara is hands down the best hair stylist I could've ever asked for. From the first contact, she was prompt in responding. She let me do 2 trials because I was SO indecisive and did not know if I wanted to wear my hair up or down. She did both style flawlessly, but, ultimately I picked what looked best with my dress etc. The fact that she could take a picture I found on pinterest and make it real was so unreal. I got SO many compliments on my wedding day and did not hesitate to tell everyone who was responsible for it!! Her assistant that worked on the bridesmaids' hair on the wedding morning was equally talented and sweet. There is no need to search any further for your hair stylist for your big day!!!!

Kara is seriously awesome. I'm pretty easy going and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair. I showed her two hairstyles, and she morphed it into something beautiful. I could not have been happier with my hair and it lasted a day and night! My bridesmaids also had different hairstyles and they were all beautiful! Her helper Bethany was also awesome! Thank you!
