Denise from Hactac Events was absolutely instrumental in making our wedding day a complete success! From the moment we booked our venue to the final moments after the wedding, she worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran seamlessly. This woman is a gem! She's so easy to work with and delivers on what she agrees to! I booked her for my wedding and am so excited but I'm the meantime booked her for a birthday party I was throwing and she DID NOT disappoint. She communicated with me every step of the way, came when she promised, and produced exactly what I wanted and more. Her prices are extremely reasonable given other quotes I've heard. I love that once we were discussing ideas, she got creative herself and offered her advice and output. You can tell she's passionate about what she does and is ready to pour her soul into it! She's such a professional and takes her work seriously. My mom is a hard person to please and even she was happy! My sister was ecstatic about the decorations and balloon arch she made for us. She made a beautiful candle lighting centerpiece for us and all we did was discuss ideas. She literally went inside my head and made it into a reality. I only wish I took more pictures but I was so excited I forgot to lol.. I'll definitely be booking her for more events!

Denise created the most magical, whimsical and elegant wedding I’ve ever seen. She executed my dream wedding to perfection. Top notch and professional. I will definitely recommend her to many of my friends and colleagues in the future.

Hactac Events are amazing. Denise and her Staff went above and beyond. I gave her our vision and it exceeded our expectations. Florals were amazing. Candles were amazing. Staff was polite and very helpful. Consider this company for all of your events.

Worst event planner ever. She's rude and expensive for nothing. Recent wedding I attended, she was the event planner and literally did nothing but decorated the reception area. The bride supplied MOST of the materials for the wedding and paid almost 10k. Not to mention, there was a flower arrangement that supposed to sit above the area where the ceremony took place and one in the reception area. This horrible planner was rushing the photographer because she needed to take the arrangement down and utilize it for the reception. She provided the wedding party no form of instruction. Insult to injury she decides to put the event on her page and survey strangers thought's on wedding party. I don't care how many magazines she's been in or weddings she was hired for. The worst. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

It took me a moment to write this review. I really wanted to like Denise. Her reviews were good, and she seemed genuine upon hiring but I absolutely did not receive what I was promised. I hired Denise in November of 2023 and barely heard from her unless she was asking for payment. She always seemed upset when I would remove something from her services as I felt like she was trying to nickel and dime me for every single item down to the use of led candles. She charged me $400 dollars for a chrome runner that came off of a roll priced at the tablecloth factory for under $70 bucks and the table that I requested for my sweetheart table apparently never came but I wasn't told until the morning of the wedding. Remember, I hired her in November and got married in June, so she had more than enough time.

She provided beautiful florals that she raised the price on me two months before my wedding after I removed items in order to stay within my budget. She then told me that because of inflation, she would need to use other flowers besides the only flower that I strictly requested for my wedding on top of raising the price on them. This had nothing to do with the price she gave me upon hiring. Even after removing a bunch of items, her labor and production price never lowered. The cost of staffing and production alone was 4k yet she didn't even attempt to help break down the items that belonged to me after the wedding.

The biggest regret I have is trusting her as a coordinator. She did not reach out to not one of my vendors as promised and did not coordinate nor bring anyone to coordinate as my day of coordinator. She promised me a complimentary coordinator if I spent at least 8 grand. I spent over 9 grand and did not get any type of coordination. My vendors all stated that they never heard from her once and she did not assist with any direction or anything at the wedding. She sent me a contract the day before my wedding and told me that I had to sign it, or she wouldn’t be able to come out to decorate after she had already been fully paid a month prior.

On top of it all, the day of my wedding, she was very rude and standoffish to my wedding party, the vendors and even my mother. I have received multiple complaints regarding how she was speaking to people. I even witnessed her worker slam a ladder down because we weren't done taking pictures in front of the florals that she wanted to move from the ceremony to the reception due to her poor planning of getting the sweetheart table that I requested. She was at my wedding sitting and making an Instagram post and I even saw her with a drink in hand. I’m glad that I took charge of the items that I did because I would feel even more cheated than I already do. I absolutely do not recommend this decorator/coordinator and if you do go with her, make sure you have a record of everything she promises you because she will change it and upcharge you and will not deliver on promises made. She’s very combative as well so I’ll be waiting for her snarky response full of excuses on why she did what she did. Either way, I would suggest you look elsewhere for services for your big day as she is not trustworthy whatsoever.
