I love H & J Flowers!!!!! I got married at Waterfall Lodge on March 28th, 2026, and H & J Flowers made my wedding look like a dreamy Lana Del Rey music video!!! Their arrangements complemented and elevated the space, bringing the vision in my head to life. It was better than I ever could’ve imagined.

Hylary from H & J was easy to get an initial appointment with and schedule a call with, and from there, we got the ball rolling on the flowers. I knew within the first two minutes of the phone call that she was awesome and was going to be a blast to work with– and I was right.

Hylary is chill and makes picking flowers easy, and I think she was like the only florist I reached out to that wasn’t weirded out by me wanting a heart arch and fake flowers for my bouquet lololol. She was just down to make it happen!!

I mailed her fun charms to attach to my bouquets, and she attached them, and they look awesome!!! They placed them in groups to represent my wedding date, which is so thoughtful!!!

So, if you’re a bride who wants something a little untraditional, Hylary has got your back!!

Actually, last minute I wanted to add disco balls and garland to the beams in Waterfall Lodge, and Hylary made that happen too!!!

I let her know I am allergic to pollen, and she kept that in mind every step of the way!! When I mentioned a flower I thought was cool, she’d let me know whether it was a low-pollen flower and whether it was feasible!

And I feel like I emailed Hylary at least 100 times back and forth over the course of planning the wedding, and she responded quickly and with thoughtful, detailed responses every time!!

She takes the time to explain everything and go over all the details, like I literally asked for rough dimensions of the arrangements I was ordering, and she gave me size estimates.

Everything I ordered was well worth the price, like the arch was the perfect size, the table arrangements were a perfect height, and the aisle meadows were tall, wide, and beautiful! I loved every single thing!!!

Hylary prepares a clear, detailed invoice listing all the flowers to be used. It is great. And honestly, I am not a flower person, so I was hoping I was doing a good job at explaining to Hylary my ideas, and it is like she designed the arrangements based on exactly what I wanted, even though I felt like I didn’t have the vocabulary to describe what I wanted– and that takes great skill and empathy!!!

Hylary and all of H & J Flowers take pride in their work to the next level. Trust them with your wedding day flowers. When I peeked at the ceremony area before the ceremony, I honestly felt speechless. I couldn’t believe it, everything I wanted, they made it happen. And everyone is still talking about the heart arch, and I bring it up every day to my husband lololol.

My bouquet and all my bridesmaid bouquets were made with artificial flowers that looked so realistic, no one knew they were fake, and now we all get to keep them forever. H & J Flowers has an unmatched work ethic, great vibes, and the artistic ability and expertise to make your wedding magazine-worthy.

* H&J Flowers was highly recommended by a friend of ours as well as our venue, Clos LaChance Vineyards (now known as Cordevalle Winery). There was no doubt in our mind that we wanted H&J Flowers to be our florists for our wedding. Over the course of a year and three months, Hylary responded promptly to emails, sent similar examples from previous weddings based off of our mood board, let us know how the ceremony garland could be reused at the reception, and worked within our budget. She didn’t recommend what I had originally envisioned for our ceremony background since it would have looked odd; instead she suggested something similar that would work well with our venue ceremony site. My recommendation is to hire a florist who is open to your ideas but is also realistic when it comes down to the game plan and that is Hylary.

* A lot of the work that florists do is done behind the scenes while you are getting ready so I appreciate what Hylary, Jason, and Jacquie had to do in order to make everything look perfect and it truly was. H&J couldn’t have come any closer to what I had envisioned for my bridal bouquet. The moment I saw the pergola garland arrangement at the end of the aisle, I was floored. At the end of the night, the only thing we had to do was take home the bouquets and centerpieces. H&J cleaned up the rest of the florals and picked up the candle rentals. The last thing you want to be doing once the wedding is over is to be cleaning up. We couldn’t be happier on how the florals turned out so of course we highly recommend H&J Flowers!

Let me start by saying: don't look any further--hire Hylary and her team! They were absolutely incredible to work with while I planned my destination wedding. From our very first phone call, Hylary understood my vision, made me feel completely at ease, and was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process. She is so personable and genuinely cares, which made an otherwise stressful experience feel calm and enjoyable.

Her arrangements were beyond beautiful--I truly wish I had thanked her and her team even more. While I was getting my hair and makeup done, my makeup artist even pointed out how stunning the florals were and commented on how sweet and wonderful the team was. Traveling from Florida for our wedding in Big Sur, I couldn't have asked for a better execution of my vision--she nailed it perfectly.

When I first got engaged, every instagram post I saw from local venues where I was obsessing over the florals turned out to be creations from H & J Flowers! So before I even had a venue, I reached out to Hylary and told her I HAD to have her and her team as my florists! From the first phone call Hylary was a dream to work with! She even helped me find amazing options for different venues at the beginning of my planning journey!! I had told her which wedding on their website portfolio really stood out to me, and she tweaked it based on our conversation to match my style a little closer and to include my favorite flowers (sunflowers) in the centerpieces and bouquets, too! She was so responsive and supportive during all interactions and was flexible with changes that I had to make about a month before the big day! We had a micro wedding for our day, so the florals had to be delivered to the hotel instead of the venue per our venue contract which they were happy to accommodate! When I tell you my jaw was on the floor when I saw my bridal bouquet, it would be an understatement. H & J Flowers created masterpieces that were beyond what I could have ever imagined. My bouquet was STUNNING and was exactly what every bride dreams to hold on their special day. The centerpieces were amazingly gorgeous and complimented the venue seamlessly. And the corsages and boutonnières were high quality and simply perfect. We are so thankful to Hylary, Jason, Jacquie, and the rest of the team for bringing so much beauty and magic to our wedding day! I wish I could have kept all of the florals forever, but I'll settle for having my bouquet pressed so it will last a lifetime.

We absolutely loved working with Hylary and her team for our once in a lifetime day. We got married at Nestldown on 10/18/25. The process from start to finish was so enjoyable, fun, easy and it's all thanks to Hylary. We received so many compliments from our guest for how stunning everything turned out. The barn was transformed, it was so warm and inviting with all of the candles. The ceremony, bridal flowers, welcome sign flowers, queens and round tables, cocktail hour it was all perfect. Hylary and her team went above and beyond and it was all of my Pinterest dreams come true but even better. She really helped translate all of my thoughts and communicated and executed so well. Hylary was by far my husband and my favorite vendor to work with. She was always so responsive in her emails. She understood our vision and was able to provide a mood board for what the candles, layout, type of flowers etc. She provided such great ideas on what it could look like, what combinations of flowers/candles/vases/ she did it all.  We even had a floral trial day. And I am an anxious type A person and Hylary did not have me feeling worried one bit. I had full faith and complete trust that everything was going to turn out stunning. A month out we switched the vision from super fall and orange colors to a more romantic timeless fall look. I could not be happier with the outcome. We had our planning call and she didn't make me feel bad at all for completely changing the vision. She made a plan and sent a new mood board and it was so great to see, It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that Hylary and her team knew exactly how to make the day beautiful. Her and her team are so talented and I wish them all the best in all of their future projects. Thank you Hylary and team for making the best day of my life so beautiful. 

Hire H&J. I come from three generations of florists, so finding the right team to trust with the execution of our wedding seemed like it would be hard — but Hylary made it easy. Our floral investment was large, and the H&J team met our vision with investing countless hours perfecting our floral mix, designing and redesigning in collaboration with me and my family. Every single wild idea we threw out (branches! Trees! Exotic varieties!) Hylary not only nailed, but perfected. Above and beyond feels too trite for what it really felt like — which was total concierge attention and above-and-beyond results. For over a year, we worked together to create an evening that was absolutely perfect. 4 different venues, literally thousands of flowers, and H&J made it all look early. In an industry fraught with piecemeal communication, Hylary and her team are setting a different standard. My husband and I cannot recommend the entire team — they are perfectionists, passionate, and treat your wedding like it’s the only one. This is not a job to them, this is their pride and joy. They are a rare breed in the wedding industry and we are so thankful to them.

Working with Hylary was hands-down one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first phone call, I knew she was something incredibly special. She instantly got my vision and brought it to life in ways I couldn’t even imagine. Every single step of the process was flawless — she was organized, creative, warm, and so fun to work with!

She walked me through each and every flower, piece of greenery, candle, and vase she planned to use well in advance to make sure I was happy and comfortable with every part of the proposal. She even made a mock-up centerpiece before the wedding so I could see everything come together and made adjustments in real-time. She went above and beyond in every way.

When I walked into our venue on wedding day, I literally gasped and started crying. The flowers were STUNNING — clean, elegant, classic, timeless — with the perfect pops of blue that beautifully complimented our coastal Half Moon Bay setting. It was like stepping into a dream. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Our guests could NOT stop raving about the florals. People are still talking about them. It elevated the entire day and made everything feel so special and magical.

Beyond the flowers themselves, Hylary is just the most genuinely kind, sweet, talented, and thoughtful human. She was always responsive, so easy to talk to, and truly a joy to work with from start to finish. I felt so supported and understood every step of the way.

I will be recommending Hylary and her incredible team to absolutely EVERYONE I know. She made our wedding more beautiful than I ever thought possible, and I’m forever grateful. If you're lucky enough to book her —do it! You will be blown away.

We got married in October 2024 and are so glad that we used H&J Flowers for our event. The flowers were absolutely stunning, with multiple guests complimenting us on the beautiful florals. Hylary was always incredibly friendly and professional in her communications, and she responded very quickly to emails (including making adjustments to proposals same-day!). She had wonderful suggestions for how to repurpose ceremony florals to stay within our budget, and even provided helpful advice about other aspects of the decorations! Special highlight to my bouquet and the arch. When I first walked in and saw Jacquie putting together my arch, I was stunned and she wasn't even done yet! Sitting next to the arch was a bucket of the most beautiful orange with red marigolds. We weren't sure if we were going to get them but we were blown away we did. Marigolds have a special meaning to my husband's family so having them be part of it was extra special.

And then my bouquet. The moment I picked it up, Jacquie was there to guide me and give me extra care for the bouquet. And I even asked her which was was front because it was stunning from every angle to which Jacquie said "That's Hylary's speciality" A bouquet with multiple fronts.

Immense gratitude for bringing my wedding day dreams to a reality even when I didn't know what they were ❤️
