Guglhupf made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us. We had a chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and raspberry filling, and a vanilla cake with the same filling, and both were incredible. It was honestly hard to choose flavors during the tasting because everything we tried was so good. We provided little figurines of our dogs for the design, and they incorporated them perfectly into the cake. It looked stunning, arrived right on time, and tasted amazing. We couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend Guglhupf.

Working with Katie and the bakers at Guglhupf was a wonderful process. They made us feel welcome the moment we called and set up our tasting. We tried four different flavors and ended up picking two different flavors for our three tier cake, as we just couldn’t agree which was better. Our guests couldn’t agree either, as every person though the cake was both beautiful and delicious - especially the light and fluffy german-style icing!

Guglhupf was amazing to work with, as they handled our allergy requests with both ease and seriousness, and once we had worked out our cake design and flavors everything else was a breeze. They handled the delivery of the cake, provided us with boxes to take some home, and included a lovely stand for free (only had to place a deposit).

Our cake was loved by everyone who tried it, and we can’t recommend Guglhupf highly enough from both in working with the friendly staff and the delicious cake at our wedding.

Working with Katie was great. The bakery was referred to us from another friend who has a wedding in Durham. The cake was tasty and I love that I'll be able to recreate a smaller version for our anniversary. They even made a last minute change when our cake toppers came in much larger than anticipated. I would absolutely recommend them again.

Guglhupf did a fantastic job with our wedding cake, especially with only 2 months notice! We just wanted something small and simple, and they made it exactly how we wanted it. It tasted fantastic and was absolutely beautiful!

Our cake looked lovely, tasted amazing, they added the cake topper from my parents wedding, and delivered it to our venue--we had absolutely no issues. The bakery is always amazing so its not surprising, but seriously all the flavors we tried were delicious and our lemon-raspberry was a huge hit!

We chose Guglhupf from the beginning (probably our first vendor) because we loved their cakes so much. They make a Black Forest cake and we wanted that at our wedding. They were very professional, helpful with coming up with estimates, and were able to deliver on short notice. Our guests immediately ate all of the cake once it was served at our wedding. :)

We ordered chocolate cake with hazelnut mousse from Guglhupf for our wedding, and it was delicious! We wanted the cake to look like a birch tree with our names carved on it, and it was made exactly how I envisioned it! It was beautiful, delicious, reasonably priced, and came with no-hassle delivery organized by the vendor. I definitely recommend it!

Guglhupf was the first and only bakery we considered for our wedding cake. We tasted four different flavor combinations before deciding on the chocolate cake with chocolate hazelnut mousse, and the vanilla cake with white chocolate mousse with raspberries. We opted for the vanilla buttercream frosting, with a simple design and fresh flowers. The cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing!

Dean and Antonia at Guglhupf Bakery were so helpful at every step of the way. They were great about working with me on budget and revised my initial estimate without hesitation to help me spend no more than I wanted to. We ordered their chocolate and raspberry mousse torte, one 8” round cake for display and cutting and a whole sheet cake to serve guests. The cakes were delicious and unique! My husband’s parents were going to pick up the cakes the morning of the wedding, but the bakery had forgotten to make two half sheet cakes (instead of one whole) so that they would fit in the venue’s small fridge. To make up for this small mistake, Dean offered to deliver the cakes for free, and did so in a timely fashion (and managed to keep the mousse tortes cool in the 95 degree heat!) Overall, I was very happy that I chose Guglhupf for our wedding cakes!
