Having my wedding at the Groesbeck Estate last October was the best decision I ever had and I can't recommend it enough. Amazing intimate location nestled away with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest! The inside of the Estate was restored with a great bridal suite that allowed for a lot of natural light in. I had always wanted to get married outside during in October but with the way Cincinnati weather can be unpredictable, I needed a venue that would allow for me to have a weather safety net if needed - which the Estate did have by having an all weather tent up on the back-terrace. I could not have had a perfect wedding day if it wasn't for Julie, the Rental and Event Manager. Julie was absolutely amazing to work with and was so helpful the entire way through. She was easygoing and professional from the start, and had always made us feel like a priority even though I knew she was handling a lot of other couples at the same time! I would recommend the Groesbeck Estate to any couple looking for a beautiful venue to celebrate their big day or or anyone searching for a venue for a special event.

Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center was a top choice for my husband and I. You can't beat the location, the tent that they installed last year was beautiful, and the service was amazing. Julie was extremely easy to work with and their entire staff was extremely kind. We had lots of compliments on the food, location, and the wedding in general. Highly recommend!

Krippendorf Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect. Julie and her team from Elegant Fare were amazing and so very helpful. I loved being able to bring my own decorations and adding personal touches to the lodge and wedding overall. They are very accommodating and so helpful with anything I needed/wanted along the planning journey! I'd recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a romantic outdoor setting!

Perfect and unique venue to get married. My husband and I got engaged at the Cincinnati Nature Center, so it just seemed fitting to get married at Krippendorf Lodge. I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else. It was absolutely amazing. Krippendorf is an incredibly beautiful venue.

Krippendorf Lodge is a fantastic venue inside Rowe Woods at the Cincinnati Nature Center. We had a wonderful experience there. The environment is so beautiful that you really don't have to add much decoration at all, which is very helpful both in terms of cutting costs and reducing the number of things you have to worry about! It's pretty much an all-included venue, so you don't have to separately order chairs, dishes or lighting or deal with sound, which is very convenient. The caterer they use is pretty flexible and was very responsive to the feedback we gave after our first tasting. It was truly the perfect place for an outdoor wedding and great for a busy bride like me who didn't want to have to research a thousand vendors. Most of all, it was absolutely gorgeous and I pretty much knew this venue was the one for me the first moment we arrived.

From day 1 of seeing Krippendorf Lodge all the way to our wedding day a year and a half later, we had exceptional service from the staff (especially Julie Fleisch.) The beauty of this venue speaks for itself, but what blew us a way the most is how organized, responsive, and professional the staff was. Julie is very experienced and very good at her job. She not only helped us with booking the venue and setting up the catering menu, but she assisted us in planning the entire timeline for the evening, how and where to put decorations, gift table, etc, and even helped pin boutonnieres on the groomsmen and called the shuttle for our guests once the evening was over. During the rehearsal and ceremony she even helped guide the wedding party on when to start walking, etc.

I could (and did) go on for days... The bottom line is, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is top notch!

What a beautiful place for my small and intimate wedding. The venue had so many great places to take pictures. It was perfect for our May wedding!

We used the Krippendorf Lodge for our wedding reception venue on 8/13/2011. From the beginning of our planning, we knew we didn't want a traditional banquet hall reception. As soon as we stepped onto the property of the Cincinnati Nature Center, we knew this was to be our venue. The venue is run by the catering company, Elegant Fare, and they do a fantastic job of managing all the logistics. It truly is a one-of-a-kind venue that will have your guests saying "Wow, how great is this place" just like ours did!

I would definitely go with my decision to use Krippendorf Lodge at Cincinnati Nature Center again. It was amazing! The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. I was looking for an outdoor venue that could hold a hold of people and where you didn't have to rent tables and chairs and all that separately. This was perfect.
