Having my wedding at the Groesbeck Estate last October was the best decision I ever had and I can't recommend it enough. Amazing intimate location nestled away with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest! The inside of the Estate was restored with a great bridal suite that allowed for a lot of natural light in. I had always wanted to get married outside during in October but with the way Cincinnati weather can be unpredictable, I needed a venue that would allow for me to have a weather safety net if needed - which the Estate did have by having an all weather tent up on the back-terrace. I could not have had a perfect wedding day if it wasn't for Julie, the Rental and Event Manager. Julie was absolutely amazing to work with and was so helpful the entire way through. She was easygoing and professional from the start, and had always made us feel like a priority even though I knew she was handling a lot of other couples at the same time! I would recommend the Groesbeck Estate to any couple looking for a beautiful venue to celebrate their big day or or anyone searching for a venue for a special event.

Julie and her team made our dream come alive at Krippedorf for our wedding- they were responsive, cooperative and the venue was picturesque and perfect!

Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center was a top choice for my husband and I. You can't beat the location, the tent that they installed last year was beautiful, and the service was amazing. Julie was extremely easy to work with and their entire staff was extremely kind. We had lots of compliments on the food, location, and the wedding in general. Highly recommend!

Krippendorf Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect. Julie and her team from Elegant Fare were amazing and so very helpful. I loved being able to bring my own decorations and adding personal touches to the lodge and wedding overall. They are very accommodating and so helpful with anything I needed/wanted along the planning journey! I'd recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a romantic outdoor setting!

Perfect and unique venue to get married. My husband and I got engaged at the Cincinnati Nature Center, so it just seemed fitting to get married at Krippendorf Lodge. I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else. It was absolutely amazing. Krippendorf is an incredibly beautiful venue.

Krippendorf Lodge is a fantastic venue inside Rowe Woods at the Cincinnati Nature Center. We had a wonderful experience there. The environment is so beautiful that you really don't have to add much decoration at all, which is very helpful both in terms of cutting costs and reducing the number of things you have to worry about! It's pretty much an all-included venue, so you don't have to separately order chairs, dishes or lighting or deal with sound, which is very convenient. The caterer they use is pretty flexible and was very responsive to the feedback we gave after our first tasting. It was truly the perfect place for an outdoor wedding and great for a busy bride like me who didn't want to have to research a thousand vendors. Most of all, it was absolutely gorgeous and I pretty much knew this venue was the one for me the first moment we arrived.

From day 1 of seeing Krippendorf Lodge all the way to our wedding day a year and a half later, we had exceptional service from the staff (especially Julie Fleisch.) The beauty of this venue speaks for itself, but what blew us a way the most is how organized, responsive, and professional the staff was. Julie is very experienced and very good at her job. She not only helped us with booking the venue and setting up the catering menu, but she assisted us in planning the entire timeline for the evening, how and where to put decorations, gift table, etc, and even helped pin boutonnieres on the groomsmen and called the shuttle for our guests once the evening was over. During the rehearsal and ceremony she even helped guide the wedding party on when to start walking, etc.

I could (and did) go on for days... The bottom line is, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is top notch!

What a beautiful place for my small and intimate wedding. The venue had so many great places to take pictures. It was perfect for our May wedding!

We used the Krippendorf Lodge for our wedding reception venue on 8/13/2011. From the beginning of our planning, we knew we didn't want a traditional banquet hall reception. As soon as we stepped onto the property of the Cincinnati Nature Center, we knew this was to be our venue. The venue is run by the catering company, Elegant Fare, and they do a fantastic job of managing all the logistics. It truly is a one-of-a-kind venue that will have your guests saying "Wow, how great is this place" just like ours did!

I would definitely go with my decision to use Krippendorf Lodge at Cincinnati Nature Center again. It was amazing! The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. I was looking for an outdoor venue that could hold a hold of people and where you didn't have to rent tables and chairs and all that separately. This was perfect.

My husband and I picked Krippendorf Lodge for our wedding ceremony and reception because we wanted a place with an outdoorsy elegant feel. It was definitely a little more then what we originally planned on spending for a wedding because you have to use their caterer Elegant Fare but after trying the food we were sold. The food was amazing! Julie with Elegant Fare was an absolute blessing from the very beginning. When we first met Julie at the lodge to show us around she was very friendly and professional. Throughout the next months of planning our wedding she was always a phone call or email away if we needed anything or had any questions which is very important when planning an already stress filled day. On our wedding day she made sure everything went smoothly and stayed on track. I would recommend this vendor to any bride and groom looking for a truly amazing outside wedding venue with truly amazing food and staff!

This place fit our wedding so well. My husband and I liked the woodsy outdoor feel of the grounds, plus the inside is so pretty!

Couldn't ask for a more beautiful and natural setting! There are set rules as to the time simply because it is a conservation site. The event needs to end by 11:30p, which isn't a crazy expectation.

I had always dreamed about having my wedding at Krippendorf and it was even better than I had previously hoped! The venue is gorgeous, the layout was fantastic, Julie was wonderful to work with...We had a sudden chance of rain the morning of the wedding, and we were able to happily and easily move everything around to accommodate the weather. And despite the rain, the large porch and inside rooms allowed us to still have a wonderful time and it still looked AMAZING! Julie was very nice and a joy to work with. It seems like she had a lot on her plate and wasn't always able to respond as quick as I would sometimes like, but she always DID respond and she was always very pleasant. I would recommend her and this place to anyone who wants a relaxed, country feel for their wedding or party!

The Nature Center was everything I wanted for my wedding day. It was a beautiful outdoor location with a canopy so that in case of bad weather, everything could remain outside. The only drawback was the cost of the canopy; the building was very reasonable but the awning was more than we wanted to pay (although well worth the price).

When I saw this venue I immediately knew it was the one. It is beautiful! It has plenty of space and is flexible with the setup. All of my picture turned out beautiful with such great scenery. Everyone talked about how beautiful the wedding was. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 was because the individual who runs weddings at the lodge sometimes didn't email me back for long periods of time. Otherwise I would recommend the lodge to brides!

Krippendorf Lodge was perfect for our vintage woodland themed wedding. As soon as we saw the venue we fell in love with its charm. The wrap around porch and patio were perfect for our outdoor wedding. They even have an awning you can rent if the weather decides to make a turn for the worst. Luckily we had perfect weather and didn't need it though.

Julie who manages the catering company, Elegant Fare (they have a deal with the lodge), and the lodge was really helpful in the planing process. She was very professional and helped us stay calm during all the stress.

The Krippendorf Lodge made our wedding the wedding of our dreams. When i walked out the double doors as i walked down the isle i cried not only because i was marrying the man of my dreams while being surrounded by everyone i love, but also because the place was so incredibly breathtaking that i felt like i was in a dream. It has a beeautiful feeling that i can't explain. The lights that hang over the stone porch just add to the woody charm. It was incredible.

Julie is the person that i worked with. She wasn't very responsive for the majority of the time, but when it mattered she was amazing. She got everything done very efficiently. She was really great the day of the wedding and while she isn't the most amiable person, she is great at her job. I was worried for a period of time, but after it was all said and done she was really great. The entire night went very smoothly and everyone had a lot of fun.
The Krippendorf only has one caterer, and it's pretty expensive, but i will say that the food was really really good. Even our chef friends said it was wonderful--which is saying a lot about wedding food.

This venue was beautiful! Pay the extra money for the lights outside. It's worth it.

Their food was amazing! Seriously. We had a vegetarian wedding, which I thought some people would really hate, but to my happy surprise, people were raving about the food all night. Our main dish was an indian dish with naan, and pasta dish, but everything we sampled was delicious, so I don't think you can go wrong.

The staff was great! The wedding coordinator, Julie is on the ball! She's very busy, and doesn't answer your emails. Just know that going into it and you'll be just fine. She made sure everything was smooth sailing on the big day.

We loved having our wedding here. It offered all that we wanted in an outdoor wedding but also had the lodge to keep food and gifts inside. It was exactly what we were looking for. Its a beautiful and secluded setting. They had excellent dinner selection and all the guests kept telling me how good the food was.

We worked with Julie, from Elegant Fare catering and she was wonderful, though sometimes slow to respond to emails. The lodge was perfect for our wedding and I appreciated the ample parking and the ramps in the venue, which worked out for our older guests. The venue was pricier than others and I did not pull the canopy because of the cost, but it was very doable.

We paid for security at our event. They didn't tell us they didn't schedule, they gave our money deposit for security back after the event. We paid for.security for a reason and they didn't follow through. We were told the day of coordinator would turn on fire place and be there till the end
She wasn't she left hrs before the end of the reception. We were trying to find someone to turn on our heaters and took a while. During a wedding no one should have to look.for help, what was planned should have went as planned.
