Perfect Blend of Vintage and Modern

As a wedding vendor who's been to all the venues, I knew it would take a show stopper of a venue to win me over for my own wedding, and The Taylor Mansion did just that. It is the perfect blend of vintage and modern, with craftsmanship that keeps your eyes in constant amazement. The interior finishes are next level, with marble, intricate layered crown molding, and original finishes in each room. It is the perfect space to host a wedding, get together, or shower. The sleeping accommodations are perfect and the location is super convenient. I especially love all the stained glass and balconies. I would 100% recommend The Taylor Mansion. It is a stand out venue in the area and trust me, I've seen em all.

Our beautiful wedding experience

We had our wedding at the General James Taylor Mansion, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The venue itself is stunning and made for a beautiful, memorable setting for our day. Some of our wedding party stayed overnight, which was incredibly convenient and added to the overall experience.
Duane did a fantastic job and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The management team was very efficient, responsive, and always accessible, which made planning and the day-of run smoothly and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to host such an important occasion. Highly recommend!

This place is unreal

The Taylor Mansion is something special. It felt like I stepped into another era but had all the modern necessities. Every room seemed to have its own story. It's way grander than I expected and so walkable to everything in Newport. Hands-down one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed.

Blown away by the Taylor Mansion

The Taylor Mansion is an absolutely unforgettable venue. As one of the oldest properties in Northern Kentucky, it offers a level of history and character that is truly rare-countless original architectural features, incredible craftsmanship, and a sense of timeless elegance you simply can’t find elsewhere.

Beyond the stunning setting, the venue is exceptionally well run. Duane and his team were incredible from start to finish-professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. The experience felt seamless and stress-free, which allowed us to fully enjoy the event.

If you’re looking for a wedding or event venue that is truly unique, rich in history, and impeccably managed, the Taylor Mansion is in a class of its own. Highly recommend.

Dream Venue with Historic Charm

Our wedding at the Taylor Mansion was nothing short of exceptional. This property is truly a gem—steeped in history, yet thoughtfully updated for comfort. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the character of the home, with its original architectural details, expansive rooms, and the kind of charm you only find in properties with deep roots.

The size of the mansion was perfect for our gathering. There was plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company without ever feeling cramped. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch, doing the ceremony, or gathering around the dining table, the house offered a perfect backdrop.

One of the highlights of our stay was the attentiveness of the staff. Communication was quick and seamless—from check-in instructions to local recommendations, every question was answered promptly, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The location couldn’t be better.
