Emily is amazing if you're looking for someone who is really passionate about plants / flowers and especially about using what's local and sustainable. I had so much fun going to the flower market with her and she'd give tidbits about every strange and fantastic new plant we ran into. She charges for her service fees, and you pay for the flowers yourself on the day of at the market.

On the wedding day of she did an AMAZING job with everything and 100% delivered on my vision. The flower crown was absolutely amazing - I'd left it to her creativity and only left her with the prompt that I wanted it simple. The bouquet was PERFECT and the table garlands were just freaking amazing. I was so happy with everything. I really appreciated her resourcefulness - she filled in the blanks herself and supplemented her own plants into our bouquets and corsages! She also took care of delivering the boutonnieres and corsages to the right people and didn't bother me a bit.

Emily provided flowers for our spring wedding. She was responsive, incorporated feedback and professionally set up our arrangements. We had 15 centerpieces in total, with a few smaller pieces, corsage and a boutonniere. It was really fun being able to go to the flower market with her to choose the flowers. My favorite part was my bouquet, which turned out absolutely gorgeous.

Emily at the Green Snapdragon did an incredible job. We loved she worked local plants into all of the designs - right down to the succulents from parents' backyard! The arrangements were perfect for an autumn wedding in the wine country. The trip to the flower market in San Francisco with Emily, my mother, and my soon-to-be mother-in-law to pick out the flowers was a highlight of the wedding weekend. Emily is creative and responsive - would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I planned my wedding from Texas (we got married at the Crooked Vine Winery Livermore, CA). Emily was absolutely easy to work with, even from a distance. She has an amazing ability to translate my poor flower vocabulary into real life. I believe I said "I like lots of pointy petals" at one point and she figured out that I was talking about dahlias. Her method was unusual, which really attracted me to working with her. She met me at the flower market, we did a walk through, she read my mind, then we bought what bundles and bundles of locally sourced and well priced flowers. My parents were having difficulty keeping up, but Emily means business!
She kept me on budget, chose the flowers that I wanted in the colors that I wanted (especially those coral peonies!) and tastefully talked me into textural plants to emphasize these flowers. Her designs were breath-taking. I received so many complements throughout the day about the centerpieces and bouquets. I could not be happier.

I can't say enough good things about Emily. Honestly. From the first phone conversation with my husband about our vague ideas for floral design to the last item she helped carry out of the wedding, she was unbelievably thoughtful, organized, and creative. I didn't know what I wanted for flowers (my husband had a bit of a better idea, but we didn't really know that much), and she created the exact look and feel that we were going for. And we couldn't have gotten more compliments on the arrangements, bouquets, etc. We were originally on the fence about having day-of services at all, and we are so glad we decided to add that on to our floral package. Emily knew the ins and outs of planning a wedding, made consistently helpful suggestions, and literally made our perfect wedding a reality. I feel so corny saying that, but it's 100% true! My husband and I can't stop talking about how much we loved working with Emily and how lucky we feel to have gotten to know her. I promise you will feel the same way if you work with her in the future!!!

Beautiful!!! Emily brings such an amazing personal touch to your wedding, I am so thankful we hired her. She exceeded my expectations and I was just blown away by the beauty and array of flowers....you won't be disappointed.

Emily was simply amazing! I was a rather laid-back bride who had a vision but wasn't really specific about what I wanted, other than the colors. She made everything so easy- especially when I forgot about things that I needed. She was completely professional and prepared with lists and budgets.
Her flowers are absolutely gorgeous! We went shopping for the flowers together and somehow all the different things we selected came together into beautiful arrangements that were just so very us! I don't think I could have had a better person to create the flowers for my wedding.
Emily also acted as day-of coordinator. She made everything run smoothly and mostly on time. (She couldn't control the traffic.) I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Everything was just beautiful.

We actually flew Emily out from California to Keystone, SD to do our flowers. Not only did she put together bouquets in her hotel room (not the most ideal working space), but she hand picked flowers at a market in California and flew with them to South Dakota. In turn, we got a unique selection of flowers, not available in South Dakota. The outcome that resulted was amazing and beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres that I couldn't have paid anyone in the tri-state area enough to replicate or even attempt!

Prior to meeting her the weekend of the wedding we Skype'd a few times about our wants and needs and personal tastes. I gave her really vague ideas (I'm a wildland firefighter, I love hot pink, and my husband loves dinosaurs). With that little bit of information and not knowing us at all she had the skill and artistic vision to create flowers that I didn't even know I wanted until I saw them! With Emily, you will get what you want and more. She works to make sure the vision you have for your flowers is what you will be getting.

I don't plan on ever getting married again, but if I had to she would be my florist again in a heartbeat.

Emily Stryker of Green Snapdragon Floral Design & Consultation is amazing! For our very small ceremony in San Francisco, she created a bridal bouquet, two wrist corsages, and boutonnières for the groom, best man, and officiant (who is one of my best friends).

When Emily brought me my bouquet, I confess I got a bit teary. We had agreed on the phone that it would be a surprise, and it certainly was one of the best surprises I've ever received. It was so beautiful and so...me!

Knowing that my husband-to-be is an avid cyclist and runs a cycling tourism business, she went to a bike repair collective in Santa Rosa to find a gear to insert into his boutonniere. It was incredible how it all worked together. It was so elegant and so...him!

I am incredibly impressed with Emily's attention to details and her desire and commitment to create something that will be incredibly unique and special to the bride and groom. Without a doubt, I would recommend her services to anybody, anywhere!

I cannot recommend Emily highly enough. She went far beyond what I expected a florist to do, and was the most kind, professional, and calming vendor I had the pleasure of working with.


I knew very little about flowers and I only had vague notions of what I wanted. But somehow, Emily was able to take my hazy ideas and turn them into an absolutely amazing, gorgeous floral design plan, which she executed flawlessly (and under budget, I might add!). The table arrangements were just perfect, my bridesmaids all LOVED their bouquets, and people are still talking about the beautiful floral crown she created for me. Emily’s flower arrangements gave my wedding the perfect atmosphere and elegance. I cannot imagine what my wedding would have been like without her expertise.

Emily also acted as day of coordinator for my wedding. I would have been lost without her! Since this was mostly a DIY wedding, I assumed I would be completely stressed out and overwhelmed the whole day. Instead, Emily was a sea of serenity and quiet confidence. She knew exactly needed to be done, and she did it, without letting me worry over a single thing. She took command of the situation and kept everything running smoothly. I cannot tell you how much I relied on her that day, and how far she went beyond what I could have expected.
