In addition to the beautiful rings in stock, Gray & Davis is wonderful because of its staff (totally unpretentious, totally helpful, totally knowledgeable), and because of its value (after my now-husband and I purchased the ring, we had it appraised … and the appraisal came in at a higher value than we'd paid, which I think is almost unheard of in the world of engagement ring shopping!).

Since our engagement, we've received handwritten notes from the store, and found their staff to be as helpful, attentive, and warm post-sale as they were prior to our making a purchase.

I truly believe this is one of the best places in New York for antique and estate jewelry.
