Grandview was the site of our reception. They are one of very few venues that we could find that are beautiful, affordable, and BYOB, which saved us on costs. We had a bit of a fiasco with our caterer not bringing drinks for our reception, and the staff of Grandview stepped in to provide soda and water for our guests. They could not have been better to work with and really helped us out when we needed it! I would highly recommend Grandview to anyone I know!

When we first started out Jane, the wedding coordinator for Grandview, was absolutely wonderful!! I couldn't say enough about her. However, once Grandview sold their catering to Altland house(after we signed our contract, but before the wedding) and Jane had received our down payment, her entire attitude and prices had changed, especially the week of the wedding. In particular, the wedding rehearsal when the payment was due for the bar. The contract read that soda, coffee, tea and iced-tea were included in the buffet, however, now she wanted then charge us $1.00 per non-alcoholic drink. We had decided on a cash bar, but we were paying for the first $400.00 in drinks and she raised the prices of the alcoholic drinks as well. Jane had told my (now) husband "I don't make any money off of what I told you for alcohol prices, we made our money off of the food" Frustrated at this point we agreed to pay what she had wanted and explained that our attorney would be reviewing the contract....at this point we were no longer being charged for the non-alcoholic drinks and the original prices for the alcohol!
Other than the peeling paint on the outside of building, it is beautiful! the inside, while small, was amazing. And, although Jane did not say 2 words to me on the day of our wedding, yet, was extremely nice to my husband.....we made it our day! Our most wonderful day. Please take this review as it is. No matter what happens on that day. It is one day...Your day! A wedding is one day, a marriage is a lifetime!!

Do not have your wedding here! Our magical day was a nightmare. Unprepared staff. Dirty venue. Priest was drunk. Flowers were rotting. Everything was just horrid.

I’m sorry...I forgot the White Man’s ‘Gentleman’s’ game is strictly for white men...If we ain’t serving lemonade or stroking egos with a ‘Good swing, boss’ mantra, the cops get called. Gotcha. I understand. SCREW YOU. I PRAY you guys fold after this. You bastards didn’t have a problem ‘waiting’ for this lady to write the check for membership! Allowed all the time she needed I’m sure. The ONLY color that mattered at that moment was green. All of ya’ll can go to hell.

Venue seems trapped in the 1950s. Or 1850s.
Many barriers. Seems like they see only 3/4 of you. 15th hole still not amended. 19th hole not amended, either. Very slow service.

Racist ownership. Calls the cops on a group of African American ladies for playing too slow. The owner intimidates the women with his body language. Despicable behaviors is supported by the father of the owner on video which has now gone viral. Support this establishment if you support racist and intimidating behavior by a group of men.
