I can not express how wonderful our experience was here. From the time we arrived until we departed a week later we were completely treated like royality. Our room was great and the large bathroom was magnificent. Everyone was so friendly and caring. We got married on the island but not at the resort but they still catered to our needs. We arrived at the hotel with my wedding dress in a suitcase and they called someone to press it immediately. After our wedding we arrived back at our room and they had left us a congratulations card on our bed. Shortly after they brought us a bottle of champagne and a nice fruit and chocolate tray. I can say we picked the very best place to fulfill a brides dream.

The manicure and pedicure were amazing. The make up artist gave me a natural look knowing I don’t wear makeup! It was beautiful!

Being our favorite place my husband and I come to Wailea yearly. As such i knew that the Grand Wailea would be the place that we would marry and return to for anniversaries.
Being a type A personality with the normal ration of bridal anxieties having Ashley Nowakowski as wedding coordinator, and her team as made my wedding planning and day stress free. Ashley Nowakowski was always available for questions and has invaluable advice from the venues to vendors and decor etc.
Ashley Nowakowski always had her eye on my vision of a traditional Hawaiian wedding. Ashley made our day so much more than i had envisioned.
Being in films and television we wanted to avoid the glitz and glam and have a simply elegant Hawaiian wedding. The exquisite suggestions from Ashley has me adding additional thanks, such as the gorgeous photography provided by Scott Drexler, the stunning videoaugraphy provided by Stephan Boeker, the personal and very eloquent ceremony by Reverend Alapaki, as said from flowers to vendors to an amazing dinner/reception at 'HUMU' restaurant I had my dream wedding from start to finish.
Our wedding was perfect and a lot of the credit goes to Ashley Nowakowski's impeccable attention to detail. Ashley made the whole process simple, effortless, and relaxing. Ashley, thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect.

MaryAnn Blanchard was simply amazing, from the first phone call to the last detail, she was nothing short of remarkable. When the dress did not work out, she took it upon herself to find a shop, pull the dresses, hire a seamstress and had the dress pressed all within 24 hours of the wedding. Her attention to details was absolutely amazing.
I am pleased to say that I now have a life long friend.

Kathleen Cotten and the Staff at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa were wonderful. Katie made our destination wedding possible. She coordinated everything for us. I can't thank her and the Grand Wailea enough in making our special day so memorable.

Great rehearsal dinner location!

This hotel is simply breathtaking! You are warmly greeted each time you arrive to the property and the staff is all very professional. We plan on returning here again in 5 years and can't wait.

I had my nails done at the Grand Wailea spa the day before my wedding. My mom, grandmother and maid of honour also came and have their nails done. The lady that did mine, did an excellent job and the quality of their service was top notch. We also had a lovely girls lunch at the Hotel after our services. A great way to spend the morning.

We attended a family wedding at the Grand Wailea recently and it was an incredible disappointment! Weeks would go by without a return phone call from our wedding coordinator. Our emails were ignored. NO customer service at all. When we requested that Gail, the Director of Weddings contact us, we were told she was “off island” and could not be reached. No one, including Mr. Bailey, the Resort Manager, ever returned our phone calls.



Debbie, the "Senior Catering Manager" coordinated the wedding day and reception. She was disorganized and emotionally stressed from day one. After the ceremony, the guests were invited to the cocktail hour for appetizers and drinks. The beautiful Boterro Bar was empty! The coordinator completely forgot to set up the cocktail reception! No décor, no staff to attend to the guests for over an hour! If you are planning a special event or a once in a lifetime wedding, go to the Four Seasons or another 5 star resort in Wailea.
