I cannot say enough good things about Amber. She did our engagement and wedding photos and both were just awesome. We had a specific budget set aside for photography and she worked with us so that we were able to stay under it. On our wedding day, she was great. She not only took beautiful pictures, but she also made sure that we stayed on schedule that day. We did not have a coordinator, so she stepped in to help with that without even being asked. She has such a calming presence and made a stressful day easier. We have had so many compliments on our photos and we would definitely recommend her for any photography needs.

Amber made our entire family feel comfortable for these photos. And they all turned out so wonderful! She's easy to work with and we loved how natural the pictures were.

Amber is extremely professional and very easy to get along with. She works very well with children and is very patient with them as well. She covered all of the small details in our wedding (such as the tables, the decorations, the programs, etc), which we loved, because those small details are the things you forget as the years go by and we love that we have photo memories of them. She transitions very efficiently from one photo to the next and always knows exactly what she is doing and what will look the best. Amber was very prompt is getting our images to us for our engagement and wedding photos, which was great... we were so anxious to get all of our beautiful photos. We give her 5 stars for her personality, photo quality, professionalism and communication. Wonderful photographer in all aspects!!!!

Amber was with us for most of the day, taking pictures before the ceremony, during, and after, until the end of the reception. She captured all the family and friend shots we needed, and we were left with plenty of time for creative, artistic, and romantic shots as well. I didn't realize how lovely they would be until I saw them, Amber really has a great eye for a beautiful shot, and we will treasure the photos.

Amber's patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye were all deeply appreciated. Everyone who has seen the wedding album loves the photos. Her photography is highly recommended and I would certainly hire her again.

I found Golightly Images through a wedding website and, based on the reviews from that website, my expectations were set high. Amber's strenghts are in still photography of objects and the small sampling of work I have seen of her ability to capture the details of inanimate objects is great. However, as a photographer of events, I was a bit displeased of her ability to focus people in photographs. She will take a large array of photos but many may be disappointing due to objects being in the shot that (as a photographer) she should have recognized and made adjustments for. We also had to address her positioning and directing clients during shoots so that she would better communicate how to stand or the placement of one's hands so as not to look awkward in the photograph. I would not recommend her for another wedding, but I would recommend her for a family photo shoot or smaller sessions.
