Ah, COVID weddings. We were lucky enough to be able to have our ceremony and reception before the state shut them down. Wendi was amazing throughout the process, answering all of our questions to the best of her ability and in a timely manner. Things were changing daily and it was super stressful so having an experienced planner to coordinate the details was a lifesaver.

The venue itself is beautiful. The recent remodel is perfection, including the bridal suite and groom's lounge. The food and service was impeccable (confirmed by our guests), as was the bar service. Wendi was a great coordinator at both the rehearsal and the day-of, which is good because none of us knew what we were doing! You can tell the entire team has a lot of experience with weddings based on how smoothly everything went. No stress that day was due to the venue. :)

We recently had my daughter’s wedding on New Years Eve...and it was incredible! The whole night was magical! We had the ceremony and reception in their Lakeroom for 170 and the whole process was seamless! Wendi was amazing! So kind, accessible knowledgeable about creating the perfect wedding! The wedding for my son and daughter-in-law was wonderful, the prep the months before were made easy because Wendi the coordinator was so helpful with answering all our questions and giving us good suggestions. She also recommended some other people for all other needs for the wedding and reception. It is a wonderful spot if wedding outdoors too, some amazing spots for beautiful pictures. We recommend it highly and using Wendi to guide you through the whole process and all the way through the special day. Our families were so happy with food, drinks, staff and the whole day went off so smoothly.

Our wedding was perfect at this venue. The food was great, they were able to get us exactly what we wanted, dietary restrictions and all. We were able to get amazing wedding photos taken out on the golf course at sunset which was something we didn't think would happen. Lots of different photo areas, by the lake, waterfall and in a tunnel.

Thank you so much Tanioka's and Gabrielle for making our catering experience such a smooth process. Gabrielle is VERY prompt and responsive with emails and calls. Tanioka's is VERY professional and very reliable. The service was amazing. The food was delicious, especially the poke appetizers, garlic chicken, and Asian braised short ribs. Our guests were mainly from out of town and they LOVED the food/buffet style. They offer a free tasting which was so fun because you get to cut the long line wrapping around the building. The only thing I wish they had was real china/silverware, we had to rent those from a rental company because we didn't want to use the 'fancy' plastic plates they offer. The prices are pretty fair and VERY worth it. We also got our dessert from them (easier than hiring another vendor, and I heard the dessert was good but didnt get to try!) Otherwise, there is nothing bad to say! Thank you Taniokas for making our wedding day so special!!!

I am so happy with my experience with Echo Falls! The wedding coordinator, Wendi, is amazing and made the whole process so smooth. I visited the venue many times and even had to push back my wedding date after I had already booked, but they were super accommodating. The chef is wonderful too and I was able to customize my menu to be exactly what I wanted and to fit my budget. Day-of was amazing, the staff was all so great I truly felt like a princess!

All around an amazing experience! Lauren was wonderful in the planning process--so clear and reliable with her email/phone communication. When we got to Hawaii we did our tasting with Gabrielle--the experience exceeded my expectations! Plus she had some really helpful suggestions for our menu.
Tanioka's is top-notch in both service and food!! A word of advice--order poke-appetizers and triple what you think you need! We ordered their 2 large poke platters apps for 60 guests (and had some non-fish apps for the picky eaters). Since most of our guests were from the mainland and not 'adventurous' eaters, we thought we would be drowning in poke and eating it all the next day. Not the case at all. It was gone 15 minutes into cocktail hour! Everyone raved about it and was wanting more (including us!) and we heard so many comments that it was the best poke that they had had since they got to Hawaii.
For dinner, everything was delicious but the GARLIC CHICKEN is no joke! Tanioka's food was such a hit with all of our guests and we had people telling us that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had...with the chicken and poke in particular being the best food they'd ever had period!
We were shocked by how above and beyond the servers went...the groom even said "oh, I didn't know that service was included in our contract?" and their response was pretty much that they were doing it out of the goodness of their hearts! They were a huge help to us. The food was so amazing that that alone was going to earn them 5 stars, but the service really went above and beyond.
The catering is such a big portion of a wedding budget--go with Tanioka's! You won't be disappointed, they are worth every penny, and they made quite the impression on our guests--plus I really liked that we were giving that money to a family-run business.

We contacted Tanioka's based on the recommendation of our wedding coordinator and our venue. They were responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process, starting from our very first consultation and tasting. They ultimately provided appetizers, dinner, and dessert for out approximately 120 guests, as well as bartending and waiting services. We were able to purchase our own soft drinks and alcohol from Costco and Tanioka's provided bartenders to help us serve. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests! We really appreciated how they helped us plan for our guests with special dietary needs and allergies. And their prices our excellent; we felt we got such a great value. Highly recommend!
