Working with Kenny and Queshon for our engagement photoshoot was an amazing experience! These two have an energy about them that made our first ever photoshoot feel like a walk in the park. They had great suggestions for the Love & Basketball theme we selected and brought every shot we wanted to life.

They also created a great environment for taking pictures as they had a healthy competition between the two of them to catch the best shot. This created not only the best possible pictures for every single shot, but countless smiles, laughs and candids for the duration of the shoot! By the end we had so many beautiful pictures to choose from which made it difficult to decide on our final choices. We ended up purchasing even more photos than we had planned.

Kenny was our photographer for my brother’s wedding this past October. I seriously cannot say enough about the service he provided. When Kenny showed up to the church, it was a little chaotic since things were running a little behind. Kenny arrived with a professional, friendly, and positive attitude. Kenny knew exactly what he was doing and it allowed the wedding party the ability to stop worrying and enjoy their celebration.

Kenny made sure they got the shots they wanted both indoor and outdoor. To our surprise in less than a month we received the wedding pictures and they had SO many amazing pictures. My brother and his new wife had no idea how they were going to pick pictures for their wedding album. It was so nice to not have to worry about getting certain pictures, but instead having someone know exactly what they were looking for even without giving him much direction. My brother and his wife didn't really have specific shots that they knew they wanted but rather an overall feel and Kenny definitely nailed it.

Needed a last minute photographer for my cousins wedding that was about 3 weeks away and Gold Wave Studio was able to accommodate. Very professional, punctual , and captured every moment of the wedding ceremony/reception beautifully!! Would highly recommend them!

We had two photographers on our wedding day. Queshon was awesome. The other photographer (not affiliated with Gold Waves Studio in any way)— not so much. All I can say is that I am SO thankful Q was there to save the (picture) day! We LOVE the pictures he took and are so thankful we chose him for both our weddings (traditional Nigerian wedding first, then tradition American wedding)!!!

We had such a great experience on the day of the wedding and our pictures were amazing. Our photographer was very professional and showed up early to ensure that everything was in the proper position. He also took the time to not only talk about the pictures that we wanted but also gave a few of his one recommendations to really help capture the moment. The candid photos that he took were amazing and we loved that he found us during the event a different times to help us get more pictures of just the two of us. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend his photography services to other people.

I spent a good amount of time researching photographers for the our big day, but no one could compare with Gold Waves Studio. We were able to book them for both our engagement shoot and wedding day, they even humored me and did a small session of just our dog for the "must have" Pintrest inspired "my humans are getting married" shots.

We were having a bit of trouble deciding between two shoot locations for our engagement shoot. Kenny stepped up and contacted both locations (there were specific rules to follow at both) and helped us decide which would better fit our ideas. He was super flexible with timing as our schedules were a bit hectic. On the day of the shoot, my now husband and I felt completely comfortable with Kenny. He made it seem like we were just being us spending the day together and someone just happened to be there to capture the moments. There were beautiful candid shots that when looking at the picture my husband and I would remember what we were talking or laughing about and didn't realize that was the moment Kenny was pointing his camera at us. What stood out to me was that Kenny was willing to be added to my Pintrest board so he had an idea before the day of the shoot on what kind of poses and angles we wanted. He went above and beyond, even getting in awkward positions all the way to the floor, getting our engagement shoot to be more than what we could have even imagined.

Days leading up to the wedding day, I would get messages from both Kenny and Queshon. Not only were they the photographers, but they were like my calming friends. Anytime I would feel the wedding planning craziness get to me, somehow they knew that was the moment to message me and see how things were going and if I needed help with anything. As a bride, someone offering to help or just be an open ear, means the world. To me, it gave a feeling of relief knowing that we had hired people that truly cared. On the day of the wedding, I got "it's the big day!" messages from them and would get updates on their arrival. Due to issues with valet at our hotel, I was late getting to our wedding venue to take the 'getting ready photos'. Kenny and Queshon assured me that they would get the photos I had wanted done; they were really prepared as they brought an assistant and broke out into teams in order to get the prewedding photos taken as planned. Kenny came up with the idea to photograph my bridesmaids seeing me for the first time; how the team orchestrated this was unbelievable to watch and the pictures turned out perfect. While we were waiting for the bridesmaids to be set up for that set of pictures, Kenny pulled my mom and I aside and took photos that came out beautifully. I remember at one point while I was waiting in the room to make my way downstairs to walk down the aisle, Kenny came in and just talked with me. I guess he could tell I was getting overwhelmed with trying to make sure we stuck to the times but that little chat went a long way for me. There was not a moment during the wedding reception that a photographer wasn't by my side, in the long run that saved me from a huge fall as I slipped on the stairs and Kenny was there to save the day. Throughout the entire night, we received so many compliments about Kenny and Queshon and how amazing they were.

The photos we received from the engagement shoot and wedding day will forever have a special place in our hearts. They came out so much better than we could have ever imagined and we have Kenny and Queshon to thank for that.
