Girl Meets Boy is a fun and energetic band out of southwest Florida specializing in weddings and private events. The core group of the band (4 pieces) consists of male and female vocals, guitar, bass/keys, drums, and saxophone. Our song list is ever-growing and already extends from the classic oldies of the 50's and 60's right up to today's newest hits.

Girl Meets Boy has carved out a special niche by offering a wide variety of packages to fit any occasion, while keeping the size of the band at 4-6 performers. This is advantageous for 2 reasons: It allows us to utilize smaller spaces in more intimate venues and offers a live variety band in a more budget-friendly way.

On top of that, GMB offers DJ services at no additional cost within each live music package. This helps to accommodate any musical needs of the client and to compliment our already wide base of live music. With Girl Meets Boy you can choose a solo guitarist, pianist, or both for your ceremony and cocktail hour, and then have the luxury of a full band or DJ waiting for you at your reception. This kind of all-inclusive packaging removes the stress of having to hire multiple vendors with varying prices to handle the most important musical sections of the evening.

On top of what GMB has to offer musically, we pride ourselves on executing one of the single most important things that can make or break any wedding, and that is MCing your entire reception from start to finish. Whether it's coordinating the ceremony music for you to walk to, or introducing the wedding party into the room, as the band leader I know how to make you and your guests feel comfortable and have fun so that everything you've worked so hard to plan for that day can be enjoyed without worrying about a thing.
