Bay Kings Band

We hired Bay Kings Band to play at our wedding in St Pete, Florida. They provided cocktail hour music and music at our reception. We hired them without hearing them first in person and we have ZERO regrets. They were AMAZING! From the minute we booked them, their team was proactive with communication and they offer an amazing portal where you can easily communicate all the nitty gritty details of your wedding day timeline. Our guests are still raving about how GOOD the music was, I seriously think it was the best wedding band I have ever experience. The band was also very professional, they all wore formal wear and looked amazing on stage. They also accommodated some last minute requests from us with zero issues. I really cannot say enough great things about Bay Kings band, hire them to play at your wedding/event. You will not regret it! They were one of the most special parts of our wedding day.

Bay Kings Band played at my daughters reception at The Islander in Islamorada and had a 3 piece string trio for the ceremony. They kept the dance floor packed the whole night! Very energetic and very professional - our guests had a great time!

We first saw the Bay Kings Band perform at a wedding in Nov. 2022, and it was then that we knew we wanted a live band to play at our reception when we got married. When we started wedding planning in 2025, we decided to check out the Bay Kings Band at one of their showcases. Billy, the producer, approached us early on in the evening and started getting to know us. After watching them perform that night, we decided to look no further.

Billy was our primary point of contact and was incredibly easy to work with. He was quick to respond whenever we reached out and made the planning process easy. He also made a concerted effort to get to know us and our personal music tastes in the months leading up to the wedding. During our final planning call about 2 weeks before the wedding, we went over our must play list, do not play list, and the songs we wanted played during various events (grand entrance, last song, etc.). We’ll admit that we presented Billy with several challenges, in that many of our do not plays were songs they probably play all the time at weddings (mostly line dances, Bruno Mars, Single Ladies, etc). We also were not going to have any formal dances, and we had no opinions on what we wanted played during the other events that night. Billy did a great job at talking us through options as well as getting a feel for what our guests might enjoy.

On the night of our wedding, Billy and the Bay Kings Band absolutely slayed it. We had so many guests come up to us that night raving about how great the vibes were thanks to the band’s energy, set list choices, and each person’s talent. The dance floor was packed full the entire night, without a single line dance played. It also helped that they played several numbers from the Shrek and Shrek 2 soundtracks, which we assured Billy previously would go over VERY well with our crowd. They also threw in a few little surprises just for us that made our night all the more special.

In addition to being wildly talented, each person from the band we spoke to was incredibly kind and gracious. We absolutely loved each and every member of the band present that night and will be forever grateful for all they did to make our wedding the best night of our lives.

Do it. Hire them. You will not regret it.
And be sure to include a saxophonist!

Bay Kings Band made my wedding reception unforgettable. EVERY guest was on the dance floor! We cannot say enough good things about our wedding band—they truly made the night unforgettable! From the first song to the last, they had everyone on the dance floor. Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room were incredible. They played the perfect mix of songs for all ages, and the transitions were seamless.
Not only were they amazing performers, but they were also professional and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. So many of our guests are still talking about how great they were. If you want a packed dance floor and an unforgettable party, this is your band!

Bay Kings Band is truly AMAZING!!! When we were considering having a live band for our wedding, we found out they were doing a complimentary showcase near us. The second they started playing, the entire room was on their feet — the energy was unreal. In that moment, we looked at each other and knew we had to have them at our wedding.

From there, they were so easy to work with. Yesenia made the planning process completely seamless and was fantastic with communication every step of the way. We collaborated through their online portal where we shared our song and artist preferences, which made everything feel personalized and organized.

They played live music during our cocktail hour, created the perfect vibe for dinner with a curated playlist, and then absolutely brought the house down during the reception. Per our agreement, they even learned two new songs for us. One of them was “Oh What a Night” from Jersey Boys — and they customized the lyrics to call out December 2025 for our wedding! It was such a fun and unforgettable personal touch.

One of our absolute favorite moments of the entire day was our private last dance. The band played “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole, and it was the most magical way to end the night. We still talk about that moment — it truly was a night to remember.

The band was beyond talented, incredibly fun, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We cannot recommend Bay Kings Band enough for your wedding or special event. And if you’re debating between a band and a DJ — go with the band! It creates such an elevated, interactive, and unforgettable experience.

We hired Bay Kings Band to provide the music at our wedding and they were wonderful. Jenny was our producer/emcee and we had a violinist for the ceremony, a pianist for cocktail hour, and DJ for the remainder of the reception. It was the perfect mix of live musicians and pre-recorded music.
We were concerned about a DJ going rogue so we were very specific about what kind of music and what volumes we wanted. We wanted a very minimalist approach. Jenny listened to every single concern and addressed each and every one. We only had to ask once for the volume to come down a bit. Pretty good!!!
Anyway, we are so grateful for all the time spent beforehand and the very careful attention to detail throughout the event. In addition, the price was very on point and Jenny worked with us with a budget.

I am so happy that we hired the Bay Kings Band for our wedding! I had some very specific requests, including song selection and coordinating our entry song with some dance choreography and the Bay Kings Band knocked it out of the park. All the musicians and singers were amazing and worked the crowd like the pros that they are. Everyone had a great time and the atmosphere was exactly as I had hoped. Highly recommend!

The band was fantastic! They played songs we liked and had high energy. The guests had so much fun and danced all night. I highly recommend them!

The Bay Kings Band was awesome! We so appreciated every musician that played; they were all extremely talented and created a wonderful atmosphere!!! Everything was wonderful and the dance floor was never empty. During the planning, we struggled to decide if we added a female vocalist or a keyboard as the 5th piece, and the female vocalist came with a keyboard too!!!! Alex's understanding of "what" is needed is a true talent because he nailed it! LOVED every aspect of working with Alex and the Bay Kings Band.
