We hired Bay Kings Band to play at our wedding in St Pete, Florida. They provided cocktail hour music and music at our reception. We hired them without hearing them first in person and we have ZERO regrets. They were AMAZING! From the minute we booked them, their team was proactive with communication and they offer an amazing portal where you can easily communicate all the nitty gritty details of your wedding day timeline. Our guests are still raving about how GOOD the music was, I seriously think it was the best wedding band I have ever experience. The band was also very professional, they all wore formal wear and looked amazing on stage. They also accommodated some last minute requests from us with zero issues. I really cannot say enough great things about Bay Kings band, hire them to play at your wedding/event. You will not regret it! The Bay Kings Band brought incredible energy to our wedding reception! We first saw them at a showcase event and were impressed by both their talent and versatility. Throughout the planning process, Billy and the team were professional, organized, and easy to work with. On the wedding day, a duo played jazz during cocktail hour, and the full 7-piece band kept the dance floor packed all night. We had a mix of French- and English-speaking guests, and they even accommodated our request for the French version of the Chicken Dance, which was a huge hit. If you're looking to elevate your wedding reception, I highly recommend the Bay Kings Band. -

The Bay Kings Band absolutely made our reception and rocked our entire evening!!! You cannot go wrong with any of their vocalists but Ariel and Julian were just amazing (and Ariel is a fantastic emcee too!!). The band is top notch all around. We did a 6 piece band, meaning we had awesome percussion, guitar (Rodrigo is the man), and keyboard on top of it. Waldo was responsive and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend trying to catch one of their showcases so you can see in person just how much energy they’ll bring to your big day. This choice MADE the party!!!! -

Bay Kings Band played at my daughters reception at The Islander in Islamorada and had a 3 piece string trio for the ceremony. They kept the dance floor packed the whole night! Very energetic and very professional - our guests had a great time! -

We first saw the Bay Kings Band perform at a wedding in Nov. 2022, and it was then that we knew we wanted a live band to play at our reception when we got married. When we started wedding planning in 2025, we decided to check out the Bay Kings Band at one of their showcases. Billy, the producer, approached us early on in the evening and started getting to know us. After watching them perform that night, we decided to look no further.
Billy was our primary point of contact and was incredibly easy to work with. He was quick to respond whenever we reached out and made the planning process easy. He also made a concerted effort to get to know us and our personal music tastes in the months leading up to the wedding. During our final planning call about 2 weeks before the wedding, we went over our must play list, do not play list, and the songs we wanted played during various events (grand entrance, last song, etc.). We’ll admit that we presented Billy with several challenges, in that many of our do not plays were songs they probably play all the time at weddings (mostly line dances, Bruno Mars, Single Ladies, etc). We also were not going to have any formal dances, and we had no opinions on what we wanted played during the other events that night. Billy did a great job at talking us through options as well as getting a feel for what our guests might enjoy.
On the night of our wedding, Billy and the Bay Kings Band absolutely slayed it. We had so many guests come up to us that night raving about how great the vibes were thanks to the band’s energy, set list choices, and each person’s talent. The dance floor was packed full the entire night, without a single line dance played. It also helped that they played several numbers from the Shrek and Shrek 2 soundtracks, which we assured Billy previously would go over VERY well with our crowd. They also threw in a few little surprises just for us that made our night all the more special.
In addition to being wildly talented, each person from the band we spoke to was incredibly kind and gracious. We absolutely loved each and every member of the band present that night and will be forever grateful for all they did to make our wedding the best night of our lives.
Do it. Hire them. You will not regret it.
And be sure to include a saxophonist! -

Bay Kings Band is truly AMAZING!!! When we were considering having a live band for our wedding, we found out they were doing a complimentary showcase near us. The second they started playing, the entire room was on their feet — the energy was unreal. In that moment, we looked at each other and knew we had to have them at our wedding.
From there, they were so easy to work with. Yesenia made the planning process completely seamless and was fantastic with communication every step of the way. We collaborated through their online portal where we shared our song and artist preferences, which made everything feel personalized and organized.
They played live music during our cocktail hour, created the perfect vibe for dinner with a curated playlist, and then absolutely brought the house down during the reception. Per our agreement, they even learned two new songs for us. One of them was “Oh What a Night” from Jersey Boys — and they customized the lyrics to call out December 2025 for our wedding! It was such a fun and unforgettable personal touch.
One of our absolute favorite moments of the entire day was our private last dance. The band played “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole, and it was the most magical way to end the night. We still talk about that moment — it truly was a night to remember.
The band was beyond talented, incredibly fun, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We cannot recommend Bay Kings Band enough for your wedding or special event. And if you’re debating between a band and a DJ — go with the band! It creates such an elevated, interactive, and unforgettable experience. -

We hired Bay Kings Band to provide the music at our wedding and they were wonderful. Jenny was our producer/emcee and we had a violinist for the ceremony, a pianist for cocktail hour, and DJ for the remainder of the reception. It was the perfect mix of live musicians and pre-recorded music.
We were concerned about a DJ going rogue so we were very specific about what kind of music and what volumes we wanted. We wanted a very minimalist approach. Jenny listened to every single concern and addressed each and every one. We only had to ask once for the volume to come down a bit. Pretty good!!!
Anyway, we are so grateful for all the time spent beforehand and the very careful attention to detail throughout the event. In addition, the price was very on point and Jenny worked with us with a budget.
5 ⭐️s for the music!
We’ll see how the marriage rates.

I am so happy that we hired the Bay Kings Band for our wedding! I had some very specific requests, including song selection and coordinating our entry song with some dance choreography and the Bay Kings Band knocked it out of the park. All the musicians and singers were amazing and worked the crowd like the pros that they are. Everyone had a great time and the atmosphere was exactly as I had hoped. Highly recommend! -

We are so thrilled we went with Bay Kings Band for our St. Pete wedding! They performed at my older brother and older sister's weddings as well a few years ago, and the choice to hire them too was one of the easiest in our entire process. We got too many compliments on the band and dance floor to count, and our dance floor was PACKED all night. Brandon and the team were so kind and easy to work with, and all of the emceeing and audio aspects of the day went off without a hitch. They played a variety of music we loved from Motown & classics to bands from our youth like Green Day and Third Eye Blind. They read the crowd perfectly and played hit after hit, to the point that we were like "can you please just play ONE bad song so I can sit down for 30 seconds" haha. We worked directly with Waldo, and the entire planning process was seamless. He was incredibly responsive, adaptable, and made sure every detail was perfect. On the wedding day, the band delivered a performance that went far beyond our expectations. They played every song we requested and had the dance floor packed the entire night. By the end of the evening, our guests weren’t just dancing—they were watching the band as if it were a live concert.
The MC was phenomenal, keeping the night flowing effortlessly, and the singers’ voices were absolutely incredible. Many of our guests work in live-event sound engineering, and even they were blown away by the musicianship and overall production. Since the wedding, we’ve received countless rave reviews from guests about how amazing the band was.

Incredible band! Excellent musicians, put on an amazing unforgettable show! Very professional in the leadup to the wedding. Communication was on-point and we knew exactly what to expect. They were flexible with our requests and tailored the wedding to our needs and wants. Our guests all commented on how the band took the wedding to the next level. These guys are what people will remember, not decorations or dresses or all the small details. We had the 9-piece band which was incredible with the selection of horns/brass to complement the other musicians. They are certainly a premium product, and I highly recommend them! Honestly, if you don't hire Bay Kings Band you are just insane! They are amazing!!! I work in the events industry and I had so many people who have been to a ton of events there and they kept saying "this band is killing it"! First of all, the planning process was so easy with Brandon - he was so nice, professional, and has a ton of experience. Besides saying our vows - the dancing was the best part of the wedding. They played everything we wanted them to and kept the party going. I missed all my sweets & late night snacks because I wouldn't get off the dance floor. Lastly, the price - you can't beat the price. Originally we we were thinking of doing a DJ because we didn't think we could afford a band but we decided it was important and it was the best money spent. We did a 6 piece band and I was worried it wouldn't be enough but they sounded amazing! I truly believe a band makes the event and do everything possible to book one and make it happen, you won't regret it!! -

Bay Kings Band is arguably one of the best in Florida! When we looked for a band for our wedding, we had our sights set on a company that could bring a plethora of different styles and genres to the table. Bay Kings did that and more… we had guests dancing and singing along all night long!! Their break times correlated perfectly with other wedding items. They took the time and put in the effort to go over every aspect of the itinerary with my wedding planner and myself and even offered up great changes that made transitions run smoothly. The guitarist and sax player were definitely the focal point and highlight of our cocktail hour! We cannot recommend them enough for any of your events!

Bay Kings Band Brought the Energy!
I am so happy that we decided to go with Bay Kings Band for our wedding. We went with the string duo for the ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail hour and an 8-piece band for the reception. The band manager, Fernando, was so nice and easy to work with and the portal/planning page made planning the day so easy. And even though we weren’t able to hear the band/musicians that would be playing at our wedding prior to booking, I just had a gut feeling that they would be amazing—and they were! I even got to sing a song with the band, which was so fun and special. And speaking of singing, Nikki Kid’s voice blew everyone away and she was just such a blast! The energy the band brought to our big day was incredible. I don’t think the dance floor was empty once. If you need a band for a special event, book Bay Kings Band! -

If you are deciding on a band for your wedding or event, absolutely go with Bay Kings Band!! Their energy is unmatched and you can definitely tell they love what they do. Tori was so responsive and wonderful to work with in the planning process. The band learned and played a special rendition for our first dance, and they crushed it! If you want to have the BEST time at your wedding, hire Bay Kings Band! We had a 5 piece band at our wedding and they had everyone (young and old) jamming. At the last song of the night, everyone yelled “Encore” because they didn’t want it to end. There are not enough words to explain how much fun Bay Kings Band made our wedding and reception. Without a doubt, the BEST music option I've ever experienced.
We had a string quartet for the service, and it was beautiful. The artists learned songs I specifically requested and also brought instruments so my friends could play a special song or 2 they wrote. So thoughtful to our needs.
We had a small group play a jazz style set for the cocktail hour, and it was perfect. Very lively and just what we needed.
Then we had the ultimate encore - the reception. This ten piece band was so wildly talented. The dance floor was magnetic, and you couldn't get anyone to stop dancing. Wonderful vocal and instrument solos, hilarious/well-timed MCing, and so much more.
We booked Bay Kings in 2019, and dealt with multiple covid delays. And I just want to thank Tori for being a fabulous guide through it all and making the planning/timing so effortless.

June Wedding at the Islander Resort
Run, don’t walk, to book Bay Kings Band for your next South Florida wedding or event! Waldo was timely, responsive, and flexible throughout our booking process, working with us to answer all of our questions and help us build the best package for our wedding. We decided on a guitarist and audio support for our ceremony, a keyboard player for our cocktail hour and a 6-piece band with MC for our reception. Leading up to our wedding, Waldo worked hand-in-hand with us to build out our Band Planning Page to detail our schedule, vision, and artist/song preferences for the night, and he was always willing and eager to provide recommendations throughout the planning process (e.g., processional/recessional songs that sound good on the guitar, when to fade out music during first dances to avoid awkwardness, etc.). The night of, Bay Kings Band was absolutely on fire. They played banger after banger and worked the crowd the entire time. They were responsive to guests’ live song requests, and they even played happy birthday for a guest when we asked. When the sky split open and rain poured down in the last 30 minutes of our reception, they dialed up the energy even more and created a legendary rainstorm dance party on the dance floor (our favorite part of the wedding). Months later, our guests are still raving about Bay Kings Band. We are so thankful for the time we spent working with Waldo and Bay Kings Band, and we would hands-down recommend them to any and all couples getting married in South Florida! Easy communication, flexible when changing date due to covid, couldn’t have been better!
We hired Tori and the 9 piece band with brass section as well as a guitarist for ceremony and sax for cocktail hour. Everyone felt like they were at a concert and the dance floor was packed up until the last moment of the last song!Bay Kings Band's reply:

Bay Kings band was so wonderful through the entire planning process through the night of our wedding. Fernando was responsive for months leading to the wedding, assisted with all of my questions and I felt so confident going into the wedding that everything was taken care of. They really paid attention to the music we told them we liked and I truly have never seen so many people on a dance floor at a wedding. Our guests got up to dance immediately and the band brought the energy all night! This was one of our favorite parts of our wedding. We had the eight piece band as we wanted a horn section and it was exactly what we had hoped for. 100% worth the money. I couldn’t recommend having a band at your wedding more, especially Bay Kings Band. The Baykings Band
We hired the Baykings Band for my daughters wedding in November 2021. From the moment I spoke to Rob, owner/manager, we had nothing but a great experience. We went to listen to them live prior to the wedding and that made us fall in love with them. We have had several guests say they have never seen so many people at one time on the dance floor for the entire wedding. It was amazing. If you are considering a band, hire Bay Kings. I interviewed every band that was available for my daughter’s wedding this summer, and Bay Kings was the best hands down. We discussed with Tori, the band manager/producer, the vision we had for the night, we wanted a fun, high energy night with everyone on the dance floor, everyone. Bay Kings came through 100%. We worked with the band to select the songs, but gave them the creative liberty to gauge the music with our guests to make sure everyone danced, danced, danced. I can attest my feet were sore by the end of the night and I was wearing slippers! Tori as a true a joy to work with. From our initial interview phone call, each follow up call and email to answer questions, and through the contracting process, she never missed a beat. She helped us make sure that we had the right band for us. We decided on the 8 piece band with MC services. We also had a sax player for our cocktail hour, which provided the perfect backdrop to start the evening. Our female vocalist … wow … she had a voice that would not quit. Literally wrote this review from Mexico because I couldn’t wait until after our honeymoon to tell everyone how much we LOVE Bay Kings! When planning our wedding, I told my husband I only cared about three things (in this order): 1) the band, 2) an amazing open bar 3) my dress/appearance, so naturally searching for the right band was a point of stress and extensive research for me. Hiring a wedding band can be confusing, but Bay Kings was so clear with their pricing and what’s included in each package, encouraged us to come to their showcases so we could see exactly how they perform in person, and they were so easy to communicate with - honestly a dream team. They were also incredibly accommodating. They have a whole band homework portal in which you can list songs to play and not play, and they even DJed our ceremony because I had a custom piano recording I wanted to play during the processional. Their showmanship is amazing, their talent is phenomenal, and their ability to read the room and set the vibe is everything you could want in a wedding band. They were also so compassionate and accommodating with our wedding postponement, which I think says so much about them as a vendor. This band is by far the BEST in Tampa Bay and possibly FL, as well as the USA. They literally saved a wedding this weekend for collapsing when another band called to cancel 5 hours before showtime. Helped the bride and groom out and literally were the saving grace and good time making machine that everyone needed to ring in the newlyweds. We cannot say enough good things about their customer service, their upbeat sound, and attention to detail and true passion for their jobs. Fun, Engaging, and Professional
We knew we wanted a live band for our wedding but were unsure of who to hire. We wanted it to be engaging for both those who would dance and those who wanted to just hang out and listen. We heard so many tracks and took in lots of referrals. Bay Kings Band did a showcase on Tuesday nights close to our house. We went not expecting much and were blown away by our options. They were so fun and engaging we were dancing in our seats. Everything was customizable- band size, singers, and instruments. We went with an 8 piece band and used Noel and Tania. They were a fabulous ensemble. They were so great that there was a point in the wedding reception where there was no room left on the dance floor; everyone was up and dancing. I cannot say enough good things about Bay Kings Band! From the beginning, Lorenzen was incredibly responsive (I'm talking emails back within minutes at 10:00 PM on a Saturday), and was the easiest vendor to work with. THEY ARE SO TALENTED and were the highlight of the night. Everyone was dancing and raving about their talent. BOOK THEM if you want a party! My only recommendation would be to really review ceremony music ahead of time if you have songs picked.
