We were so happy we booked Gaylord! Connie was amazing through the entire process and the food was fantastic! The wait staff were all attentive to our guests and everything turned out great! They really made it an easy choice to decide to book them and it was well worth it!

We are very happy we choose Gaylord to cater our wedding! They were great to work with throughout the entire process and the food was great. In the planning stages Connie helped us choose delicious food that would fit our budget and she took care of all of the details. She was very responsive to email and answered all of our questions. On our wedding day everything went very smoothly. The Gaylord staff was friendly, prompt, and professional. I was particularly happy that Gaylord’s doesn’t nickel and dime you, or take advantage of you because you’re planning a wedding – for example, they don’t charge extra to cut and serve your cake! Their prices are fair and reasonable, their food is great, and their staff is wonderful to work with!

Gaylord catering was great! We had a buffet style food taste awesome, stayed warm & people could choose their own portations. Pricing was great for all the food & services provided.

They really knocked our food service out of the park. It was truly the most amazing food I've ever had at a wedding and being that it was my own, I was adamant about the quality being key. I don't want to diminish the fact that if I were at a restaurant and ate this food I would be extremely satisfied.
I still keep receiving unprompted feedback stating that this was the best food my guests have EVER had at a wedding. Thanks for making my day so great and my guests’ palates satiated!

Gaylord Catering operates the catering/kitchen facilities at our reception venue, The East Side Club, and overall I highly recommend them.
The food we chose to serve our guests at the reception was one of the most important things to my husband and I. At the outset, we wanted to do a casual picnic buffet- type theme incorporating Wisconsin and North Carolina foods such as cheese and BBQ. We also preferred that our caterer use seasonal ingredients, which in July many are in abundance, and also they source from as many local producers as possible. Gaylord took our requests to heart and created a stunning menu that we received raves about and it was also substantially cheaper than doing a plated dinner of your typical reception dinners of steak, chicken and vegetarian dishes.
The staff both in the office and on-site at the East Side Club executed everything beautifully, so a big shout out to Connie and Dorothy who made our day extra special.

Great food. It cooled quickly after guests got from the buffet table back to their seats (a few complained to us later). One staff member repeatedly slammed one of the doors to the work area, which was disruptive.

Prior to the event they worked with us to ensure the menu was what we wanted. They also provided a beverage bar with hot chocolate, coffee, and cider.

In August, 2024, I had the displeasure of working a project in Madison, WI where the facility was catered by this dump. Make no mistake: Gaylord Catering is a dump, and the "food" they dole out is slop on its best day.

In mid-August, the entire Gaylord Catering staff quit altogether and without prior notice. They had had enough of the owner's incompetence and behavior. After that, the low-grad cafeteria sludge got worse. The owner, who refused to work on weekends even as he demanded his staff do so, apparently resorted to leftovers.

Spoons stayed stuck in the shit we were expected to eat even when that crap was turned upside-down. Soup with nearly no water. Oatmeal that not even warm milk could soften. Microwaved biscuits with cheesefood (not real cheese!) slices. Stale carrots. Mystery meat sandwiches. Drink coasters called pancakes. Leftover beans and rice. Semi-raw red meat.

Just understand that despite the relatively better service that this crappy catering service MIGHT offer to higher-paying customers does not negate the fact that an alarming degree of unsanitary conditions may be found at the food prep and cooking facility.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
