The food was delicious, everything was fresh, and they do so much more than catering it helps make your day that much easier. We did a buffet style dinner with 3 different meats, potatoes, fresh veggies, corn bread, and salad. It was all delicious as the bride all the excitement from the day didn't leave me very hungry at dinner time but all our guests raved about the food. The ladies who helped with our big day had all 115 of our guests through the buffet in probably 20 min. or less. We didn't run out of food at all. They also cut all the deserts we ordered from a bakery for us at no extra charge.
We also used them for a bar-tending service and as far as I could tell they did a great job. We only served beer and wine so it probably wasn't the most strenuous bar-tending gig, but to help prevent any backups they used pre-filled pitchers to serve the beer so it was quick and efficient.
The only thing to note is they do not supply the alcohol so we just went to a local store for the keg and costco for the wine.
They are also open to all ideas you have! We wanted some jerky (they make home made jerky) as a snack after dinner for guests and they had never done that for a wedding before and were so excited to try something new and find a way to present it creatively.
Pricing was also great, when they tell you all the meat is pretty much from the farm down the road and everything is made from scratch you expect the price to be through the roof. It was honestly the same as other caterers, whose quality we found was substantially lower than Galesburg Meat Co.

The food is amazing!. My husband and I decided to get the smoked ham and the brisket. Man oh man it was all so good!! The brisket is amazing!! I don't know if other catering services cut the wedding cakes but they do, which makes it so much easier. Very wonderful people! If I ever am to plan another big event I would use them again!!!

I have loved GMC food for years, so choosing this husband and wife team was a no brainer! We had a great taste testing with them where we went through and had a quote drawn up. Very reasonable in price if you ask me. They were also very easy to work with when it came to making changes. They provided us with buffet service, water service and two bartenders. I would definitely recommend GMC for any party.

The servers showed up almost 45 minutes late. Plus some of the chicken was still pink while the breasts were over done. Many guests stated they would not eat the chicken because it was so pink.
