My daughter’s wedding day historically called for fabulous fall weather.

A wedding for almost 200 people scheduled for 5:00pm outside with plenty of space and its own beauty.

2 days before the big day, rain was forecasted and we needed plan B to move 200 people inside. As the mother of the bride, this issue became very stressful.

We immediately met with the owners of the winery, they had a wine cave we were unaware of.

That wine cave became Heathers play ground!

She transformed a dingy cold damp wine cave into a gorgeous setting for the ceremony.

Heather took what started as such a stressful situation and created the most memorable beautiful wedding ceremonies ever. (8 years later we’re still talking about it.)

Her creativity is unparalleled!

She decorated the reception area, added her own lighting and created just a magical evening for all. Including creating and putting together all of the flowers, from bouquets to all table arrangements and everything in between.

She coordinated efforts with all of our vendors, the owner of the winery, provided a Photo Booth and completely eliminated the stress of the weather.

Heather created such a magical wedding for my daughter. I’ve had the pleasure to attend multiple weddings Heather has coordinated. Each wedding was special, unique and beautiful!

Heather was absolutely incredible! Her creativity transformed our venue into a magical reflection of our relationship. We initially worried about the cost, but looking back, we wish we had invested more in her team and less in the overcooked chicken! She used her sense of humor to diffuse tense situations and kept my mother-in-law calm with constant white wine refills. What more could we ask for? Honestly, if my current marriage falls through, the silver lining would be hiring her again!

Heather planned our entire 10th year wedding anniversary. She took care of everything, food, cake, drinks, flowers, center pieces, linens. She made my bouquet and my daughters tiara out of fresh flowers. Everything that Heather did was on time and professional, I didn’t have to worry about anything, she had every detail under control and the best part of the wedding was the Photo Booth, all my guest had a blast!
What I admired the most from Heather was how much passion she has for her job, it felt that she planned our wedding just like if It was her own and that gave me peace of mind!

We hired GALA by Heather Edwards to coordinate our wedding and, other than deciding to get married, it was the best decision we made for the event. We weren’t entirely certain we needed a coordinator, but I’m so glad we did and, more specifically that we hired Heather. We had a small, 50 person wedding and Heather thought of everything, and so many things we never would have considered. In addition, we didn’t need to meet with her constantly, she had everything under control from the word go and really just “got” us immediately. She knew all the vendors -- the caterers, the DJ, the event company, etc., and arranged amazing pricing and took care of all of the details. Heather spent the entire day from the early morning to cleaning up after the reception late at night (the reception was at our house and we stayed at a hotel), as well as came back the next day to wrap up any loose ends. I have said to anyone who would listen that our wedding day has been the best day of my life, and it is absolutely due to all of the hard work Heather did to make everything so amazing and special and totally our vibe. We would absolutely recommend GALA by Heather for any event and hope to hire her for our next special party event.
