We worked with Froggy's for our May 2025 wedding, and are recommending them to all of our Chicagoland friends getting married. We are very grateful that they were a preferred partner of our venue, otherwise we're afraid we may have found them!

Thierry and his team were incredibly professional, and we loved all of the servers/bartenders we got to chat with during the event itself. They made sure we were very well taken care of.

To paint the picture: we served a plated dinner with a chicken, salmon, and vegetarian option, as well as a kids' option. We had 4 delicious appetizers being passed by servers during cocktail hour, and the bartenders did a wonderful job with our signature drinks, as well as keeping the bar line minimal. During dinner there was a wine service where no one was left with a dry glass for long!

Thierry also was an expert with room layout and linen pairings, so it was so helpful to be able to lean on him and his experience for advising those decisions. The Froggy's team worked marvelously with all of our vendors.

My partner and I are not local to Chicago currently, but hope to visit the restaurant itself (we went for the tasting and it was lovely), on future anniversaries!

Our wedding at the Women's Club of Evanston was a wonderful experience, thanks to Froggy's Catering. After evaluating several approved caterers, we found Froggy's to offer the best quality and price. Chef Thierry Mace impressed us during the tasting session with delicious salads, hors d'oeuvres, main dishes, and cake. Importantly, Thierry and his team maintained this high quality for our 100-guest wedding.

Froggy's was the perfect caterer for our event. Thierry Mace was professional and easy to work with. He knew our venue well and handled so many of the details and made recommendations about the best use of the space and layout.

Now on to the food: It was amazing! Delicious, great menu choices, well prepared and reasonably priced. From the appetizers to the main course and ending with the delightful cake, our guests raved about the food.

Thierry and his team at Froggy's hit it out of the ballpark!!! First of all, the food is amazing -- we got so many compliments about the food from the guests at our daughter's wedding! Not only was the presentation beautiful, but it was delicious. Then you have service -- again 5 stars!! Thierry was ALWAYS available, adaptable and made every request had from dietary restrictions to room layout seem like it was no problem at all. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! You won't be sorry using Froggy's for your wedding!!!

Froggys was nothing short of amazing for our wedding this past summer. We worked with Thierry who surpassed every expectation we had when choosing a catering company. We had a tasting that was well thought out, picked linens, and Thierry even had venue set-ups on paper to help visualize the space.

Thierry was very very fast to respond when emailing or calling, and he always had an answer. He met with us to go over the day and the layout at our venue which eased our worries since he had so much information. He remains cool calm and collected at all times which is an energy you need for a wedding!

Day of, he was amazing. The whole staff was a well oiled machine, even with all the staffing shortages the city faced in the summer. Everyone was so nice and willing to help out with anything we needed. We changed a few things around and Thierry was so accommodating.

The food looked and tasted wonderful, and my husband and I were so happy to see drinks filled, plates empty after everyone ate, and our beautiful wedding cake. I could not have imagined anything more perfect than everything Froggys did for us.

Thierry was very flexible with payment, stayed late to take everything down, and even snapped a few photos as I walked down the aisle. I truly cannot thank him enough for making our wedding perfect.

We plan on going to Froggys for our anniversary and we can’t wait!

Working with Thierry was an absolute delight. From our first meeting, he was abundantly helpful, kind, and so knowledgeable about every logistical step of a wedding that he was almost an additional day-of coordinator. He was very respectful of our preferences and budget. He even had connections with the local Binny’s location and helped us figure out alcohol options. The food was spectacular and service was excellent. Thierry was highly responsive to our many questions during the planning process and he checked in on us very thoughtfully on the day-of to make sure things were running smoothly. Froggy’s Catering truly helped our wedding day be incredibly special. Highly recommend Froggy’s to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. You won’t regret it.

Froggy’s catered our wedding at the Woman’s Club of Evanston on 8/20/22 and we couldn’t be more pleased! Thierry Mace and his team made everything perfect - food, drink, service. We loved every moment of working with Thierry to cater our April 2022 wedding at Woman’s Club of Evanston. Despite planning during the ongoing pandemic and its unexpected changes, we felt confident in Thierry and his ability to deliver a wonderful meal and catering experience for our guests. From our tasting many months before to the night of the event, Thierry approached the job with invaluable recommendations based on his experience, a steady and calm presence, and a great sense of humor.


The food and drinks were fantastic, which included appetizers during a cocktail hour, a two course meal, a wedding cake, and two full bars, and the waitstaff and bartenders at the event were wonderful. Many guests remarked that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Sensible options were provided for our vegetarian guests and we also had a kids meal for some children in attendance. Froggy’s was also surprisingly affordable compared to other caterers we considered, especially considering the very high quality of both the food and the French chefs and waitstaff. In addition, Thiery and his staff handled room and table arrangements for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, which was all in the same building, and provided the perfect linens to match our wedding colors.

We will definitely be back to Froggy’s French Cafe for dinner in the future to remember our exceptional wedding experience!

We had the pleasure of working with Thierry, from Froggy's catering, for our wedding last Saturday. Along the whole process (from tastings, to walk-through's, to the reception), Thierry and his staff were extremely professional, hospitable, kind, and fun! As far as the food, it was "chef's kiss!" Not only was the food amazing (yes, wedding food that was AMAZING!), but Thierry was also extremely helpful and skillful in curating a menu that was sensitive to all guests, particularly to allergies and dietary restrictions. Thierry and his staff also provided skill in setting up the reception hall. It was BEAUTIFUL! What a team. If anyone is looking for an amazing catering experience, I highly suggest Froggy's catering.
