Froggy's was the perfect caterer for our event. Thierry Mace was professional and easy to work with. He knew our venue well and handled so many of the details and made recommendations about the best use of the space and layout.
Now on to the food: It was amazing! Delicious, great menu choices, well prepared and reasonably priced. From the appetizers to the main course and ending with the delightful cake, our guests raved about the food. -

Froggys was nothing short of amazing for our wedding this past summer. We worked with Thierry who surpassed every expectation we had when choosing a catering company. We had a tasting that was well thought out, picked linens, and Thierry even had venue set-ups on paper to help visualize the space.
Thierry was very very fast to respond when emailing or calling, and he always had an answer. He met with us to go over the day and the layout at our venue which eased our worries since he had so much information. He remains cool calm and collected at all times which is an energy you need for a wedding!
Day of, he was amazing. The whole staff was a well oiled machine, even with all the staffing shortages the city faced in the summer. Everyone was so nice and willing to help out with anything we needed. We changed a few things around and Thierry was so accommodating.
The food looked and tasted wonderful, and my husband and I were so happy to see drinks filled, plates empty after everyone ate, and our beautiful wedding cake. I could not have imagined anything more perfect than everything Froggys did for us.
Thierry was very flexible with payment, stayed late to take everything down, and even snapped a few photos as I walked down the aisle. I truly cannot thank him enough for making our wedding perfect.
We plan on going to Froggys for our anniversary and we can’t wait! -

Working with Thierry was an absolute delight. From our first meeting, he was abundantly helpful, kind, and so knowledgeable about every logistical step of a wedding that he was almost an additional day-of coordinator. He was very respectful of our preferences and budget. He even had connections with the local Binny’s location and helped us figure out alcohol options. The food was spectacular and service was excellent. Thierry was highly responsive to our many questions during the planning process and he checked in on us very thoughtfully on the day-of to make sure things were running smoothly. Froggy’s Catering truly helped our wedding day be incredibly special. Highly recommend Froggy’s to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. You won’t regret it. -

Froggy’s catered our wedding at the Woman’s Club of Evanston on 8/20/22 and we couldn’t be more pleased! Thierry Mace and his team made everything perfect - food, drink, service. Our guests loved the passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner, sweets table. Thierry was fantastic. My wife and I give him A+ and recommend Froggy’s highly. -

We loved every moment of working with Thierry to cater our April 2022 wedding at Woman’s Club of Evanston. Despite planning during the ongoing pandemic and its unexpected changes, we felt confident in Thierry and his ability to deliver a wonderful meal and catering experience for our guests. From our tasting many months before to the night of the event, Thierry approached the job with invaluable recommendations based on his experience, a steady and calm presence, and a great sense of humor.
The food and drinks were fantastic, which included appetizers during a cocktail hour, a two course meal, a wedding cake, and two full bars, and the waitstaff and bartenders at the event were wonderful. Many guests remarked that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Sensible options were provided for our vegetarian guests and we also had a kids meal for some children in attendance. Froggy’s was also surprisingly affordable compared to other caterers we considered, especially considering the very high quality of both the food and the French chefs and waitstaff. In addition, Thiery and his staff handled room and table arrangements for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, which was all in the same building, and provided the perfect linens to match our wedding colors.
We will definitely be back to Froggy’s French Cafe for dinner in the future to remember our exceptional wedding experience!

We had the pleasure of working with Thierry, from Froggy's catering, for our wedding last Saturday. Along the whole process (from tastings, to walk-through's, to the reception), Thierry and his staff were extremely professional, hospitable, kind, and fun! As far as the food, it was "chef's kiss!" Not only was the food amazing (yes, wedding food that was AMAZING!), but Thierry was also extremely helpful and skillful in curating a menu that was sensitive to all guests, particularly to allergies and dietary restrictions. Thierry and his staff also provided skill in setting up the reception hall. It was BEAUTIFUL! What a team. If anyone is looking for an amazing catering experience, I highly suggest Froggy's catering. -

We hired Froggy's for catering at our 4/30/2022 wedding at the Women's Club of Evanston & we're thrilled we did! Thierry made the entire process so easy, from our tasting at the restaurant through to the wedding night - he knew the ins & outs so well, everything was taken care of. The food was incredibly delicious & the cake is the best cake I've ever tasted. Froggy's is a must!! -

Froggy's catered our wedding and knocked it out of the park! Our guests complimented and raved about the food for weeks afterwards. Everything was delicious! Thierry was so supportive and helpful throughout the planning process with everything from choosing the menus, dealing with allergies and special requests, appropriate ordering for the bar, adding extra desserts in the final stretch, etc.
On the day of, his team was kind, courteous and attentive. The bar staff, cooks, and waiters were all extremely professional. I didn't have to worry about a thing - Thierry and his team had it all under control. Very reasonably priced and an amazing value. We highly recommend Froggy's catering for your wedding! -

Froggy's was amazing. They are easy to work with, and help guide you through the event of the day. They know the right questions to ask, and are patient with changes. The food was awesome, and the staff was superb. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests and would highly recommend their services to anyone. -

We ordered our wedding cake from Froggys- and it was a huge hit at our wedding. The white chocolate mousse cake was to die for (as always!). We loved working with Tony- and he basically even let us have a cake bar since we could order multiple kinds of side cakes to serve. Our cake was truly stunning and special. If you want a special memorable cake- go with Froggys! -

I'd give them 100 stars if I could. Thierry was simply as good as it gets, he is truly an expert in catering events. He was a pleasure to work with and made the wedding planning process easier than I could've imagined. From our initial meeting to the day of the wedding he was responsive, helpful, professional, and committed to making our wedding the best it could be. The food was outstanding, our guest raved about each course, including the cake! Froggy's easily accommodated dietary restrictions and the needs of each guest, additionally all the staff were friendly, kind, attentive, and top notch. You cannot go wrong with booking Froggy's it was the best decision we made .. besides to marry each other :)

Monica Sent on 06/22/2009Froggys did an excellent job of catering my wedding a few weeks ago. They were able to incorporate some special ingredients (Morel mushrooms and Montana huckleberries) into my menu very nicely. The food was wonderful. The only thig to note was that I had selected dark chocolate frosting for my cake a month or two before the wedding (when we were given it at the tasting and preferred it to a white frosting), but when it was served it had white chocolate frosting. I should have checked up on it...however everyone loved the food and the cake and the wait staff was fantastic and I was very pleased with the overall result and price. Terry the caterer and Thierry the chef did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. -

I am a wedding photographer and just worked a wedding with Froggy’s as the caterer. The owner was polite to the couple and guests but completely rude behind the scenes. Typically, photographers eat around the same time as the wedding party so we can get back to taking photos quickly. Our “meal” wasn’t served until an hour after dinner started. My second shooter and I found on our table a singular cold gross sandwich in a plastic grocery bag that was supposedly our vendor dinner. I tried talking with other staff members asking about the meal and his own workers said that this is what he does and he typically screws over the vendors. The bride and groom asked me if my associate and I received our dinner and I was truthful. They then volunteered to talk with the owner and get it straightened out. When the owner came to me and my assistant, he was extremely rude and telling me that it was my fault I received this sandwich instead of the dinner, I shouldn’t have said anything to the couple, and that I need have better wedding contracts. I explained to him that I was never given the option, there are two photographers and only one sandwich, the couple asked me if I received food, and that this is not how you treat other wedding vendors. During this scene, a bridesmaid was in the room next to me witnessing all of it. She offered to order us dinner if he didn’t bring back food asap. Eventually, we got food and it was okay. Throughout the night, his staff members congratulated me for getting my dinner and telling him that this was unacceptable. I have worked over 50 weddings and I have never experienced another vendor being this rude. A good wedding vendor is respectful, helpful, and professional with everyone not just the couple.
