DJ Rob was awesome and made our wedding such a fun night! Communication with him was easy, and he introduced us to this app called Vibo that made planning super simple. It had spots for our music choices, timeline, and even let us set up a meeting with him. The app really helped us stay organized and gave Rob all the details he needed to make the day flow smoothly.

My biggest tip if you use Vibo: be as detailed as possible. Rob really uses it as his guide, and it made a huge difference.

Rob is definitely a busy guy, so sometimes when we chatted he was on the go or in the car. It didn’t bother us at all, but just know you might need to be direct about what you want — and he’ll totally deliver.

On the wedding day, he went above and beyond. We had asked him not to take guest song requests (especially from my dad, who tried a few times!) and he handled it so professionally. The dance floor stayed full all night, and everyone had the best time.

Robert of Frederick DJs was great to work with for our wedding day. Robert was easy to get in touch with, and we loved all of the techy features he used to communicate as well as to keep our event organized. His contract terms and payment schedule was easy to understand and very reasonable. We liked the check ins that he would do with us, and the zoom calls to keep us on track. He has a great online portal where we could add information about other vendors, wedding party information, as well as our music. He also had a packet for us to complete which was a nice planning tool as it got us to think about things that my husband and I hadn’t discussed before. What was also helpful was that Robert had a lot of music recommendations. He listened to what we were saying and got to know us as well as our music personalities to best provide music for our event, and also modified his DJ personality accordingly. He worked well with our other vendors and was organized and professional. Robert also did our up-lighting which turned out beautifully. I am so glad we booked the lighting service because it made such a significant difference in elevating our wedding, and it was clear from our photos. At the last minute, we had a space change at the venue and Robert was quick to accommodate. I would quickly rebook Robert in the future and would recommend him to anyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to shout out Frederick DJs- I'm a videographer and we are often dependent on the DJ to allow us to hook up our audio recorder to get high quality, clean audio. 90% of the time, DJs are awesome and allow us to do this-- but Robert was ABOVE AND BEYOND amazing-- approached me and asked if I needed to hook up, grabbed my recorder and hooked it up for me, level tested everything, and then proceeded to start and stop my recordings, saving me from having to walk over there every time someone was using the mic. He quickly became my favorite DJ ever with this act of kindness- which pays off for the couple, who will have clean, leveled audio for the most important parts of their day! He also made sure to keep the photographer and I very aware of any timeline changes and prepped us every time there would be something of importance about to happen, making sure we were ready. Thank you Robert!!!

Frederick DJs was great to work with! Robert was very responsive and came prepared with documents to help us capture exactly what we wanted. He also held multiple meetings with us to ensure all the details were correct. The mood was perfect throughout dinner and into the evening, and he kept everyone dancing the whole night.
