We held our wedding reception at The Stables at Fort Concho in 2015. I am from out of State, and they were great working with us-whether it was them emailing contracts, letting us see The Stables at the last minute on the morning we flew out of town (prior to booking), and helping us book quickly via long distance. Luckily we got our entire damage deposit back as well. We loved the rustic feel of the venue with its rich history and the festive lighting. The electrical wiring is pretty good here as well-none of our vendors had an issue setting up or operating their equipment, even given the building's age. Their contract was very informative and helpful, so ask for one if you are interested in using this venue!
Quality was great; no complaints there. This venue is a little less hands on than some other venues, otherwise I would've given it 5 stars.

They were professional, but were a bit rigid in some regards. And the value was pretty good in my opinion-there are more affordable venues that hold this number of guests, however, these venues are either outside of Angelo, or do not have anywhere near the character of Fort Concho. The venue is more affordable than a venue of the same quality and size that you'd find in a major city though.
