Settles Point is a wedding and extended-stay venue located in Harker Heights, Texas. Just minutes from Killeen and Fort Hood and an hour drive from Austin and Waco, this estate is conveniently situated for locals and out-of-town guests. Family-owned and operated, the venue is the brainchild of family matriarch Carol Settles, who had the idea of building a sophisticated event space. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Central Texas, the manor reflects Carol’s unique and elegant design sensibilities. Soon-to-be-newlyweds are invited to stay for the weekend at this luxurious property and make timeless memories with their loved ones.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples touring Settle Point will first enter the Atrium, where they will be greeted by distinctive marble floors, vaulted ceilings, and a grand staircase. From there, two white columns will lead them into the Banquet Hall, where 150 guests can comfortably gather for dinner and dancing. This room is wreathed in windows, which bathe the round tables and folding chairs in natural light, and features a marble dance floor. On the other side of the Atrium, visitors will discover the Parlour, which boasts hardwood floors and a cozy fireplace. This small and atmospheric space is ideal for intimate ceremonies, cocktail hours, or as a staging location. Outside, six acres of grounds offer numerous spots for taking photographs with the wedding party. In the backyard, a white wooden arbor and shaded benches make for a beautiful setting to tie the knot, surrounded by trees and fields.

Amenities at Settles Point include a fully-equipped kitchen where a couple’s choice caterer can prepare their reception meal. Upstairs, six suites are outfitted to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each of these rooms is appointed with custom coloring, hardwood floors, king-sized beds, and lounging areas. The Westview Suite comes with a full kitchen, private entrance and catwalk, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Couples can rent the venue for one day only, during which they will have access to the downstairs facilities, grounds, and a get-ready suite. For a more inclusive experience, they can also book the property for four days and three nights. This option allows them to host their friends and family at the house for a long weekend of celebrations.
