Both Lisa and Terry were wonderful in helping me pick out my wedding dress. They had so many beautiful and surprisingly affordable options! The dress I found is the perfect combination of glam and romantic. Plus, all their wedding dresses are off the rack, meaning it gets to come home with you right them -- would definitely be convenient for a shorter engagement! They talked me through several alteration options and considerations which was super helpful. I wasn't even expecting to choose a dress that day but dress and experience was so wonderful, I just had to!

Back in May, we had a family emergency and to get a break from the hospital, my mom and I went to Formal Spot to look at wedding dresses. I had emailed Formal Spot prior to going to be sure that they would have a dress that I wanted to try on. The owner, Lisa, got back to me right away and even explained to me that dress was evening going to be on sale. When my mom and I arrived, we looked around the store to see what I could try on. All in all, Formal Spot was where I purchased my wedding gown and the experience was great! I can’t wait to go pick up my dress in a couple of months!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. When I popped in unexpectedly to ask a few questions and officially order my dress, they let me put it on one more time. That sealed the deal. I am so happy I chose Formal spot. Not only is it closer to me but my experience was so much fun! I thought I had found my dress until I went there and everything changed. So happy!

I cannot stand shopping. Seriously. Hate it. And so Lisa and the staff at Formal Spot had their work cut out for them before I walked in the door. I sent them an idea of what I wanted...and Lisa messaged me that she could have samples there in record time. We scheduled a date...and I picked out a dress from the three I tried.

Right away, tho, there were little details I'd want changed...no problem! A bow was switched for an applique. The skirt could be changed, waistline altered. There is a seamstress that scheduled in-store appointments, which made it so simple. Everyone was patient and listened to everything I said...and "translated" it into what could be done to make it "right" for me.

The end result was exactly what I wanted!

I have so many great things to say about this one of a kind shop in Winter Garden. First, I was not looking forward to bridal gown shopping. Formal Spot was my first stop and they were able to fit me in that day due to a cancellation. When I walked in, I had no intention on purchasing a dress. Lisa was welcoming and gave us the freedom to shop around until I was ready to try something on. Every dress was gorgeous! I received honest opinions from both Lisa and Terri and they made the process so easy! When I was done, there was no pressure to buy anything but I couldn’t let my dress get away! I walked away with the most gorgeous dress I could have ever imagined and for a fantastic price. The experience was wonderful and I would love to take my bridal party back to work with these amazing ladies!!

Formal Spot is the place to go! I must have gone to ten different boutiques before finally arriving at this gem. I was having such a difficult time deciding on a dress, but this dynamic duo at Formal Spot really came through in helping me make my final decision. They give you such great attention that you feel like you are the only bride they are working with. If you choose to go with Formal Spot you can be assured you will be well taken care of.

Me and my mother came to the formal spot to find my wedding dress and I left with saying yes to the dress! The staff at the formal spot are amazing and know how to make a bride feel beautiful in whatever dress the bride picks! My fiance and my soon to be mother in law when shopping at Men's Warehouse the day before I went shopping for my dress ( I was suppose to go somewhere other than Formal Spot) and stopped by Formal Spot. Lisa's mom joked around with my fiance and kept saying to try them out. She made him feel comfortable with what I would experience if I went to Formal Spot. Ironically, at the same time they went shopping, another boutique in Orlando decided to cancel my appointment via email and couldn't fit me it when I was available. He told me about the kind crew at Formal Spot and the beautiful dresses they had (also, my favorite designer Maggie Soterro). I decided to book my appoint online, not to mention it was the day before I was going. We had easily 10 dresses to try on. Their verity of sizes was the best. Other shops had sizes that weren't realistic for someone with hips and legs. Trying on was so easy. Lisa's mom was dedicated to me, she helped me put on each dress I tried on, fixed the fabric, pin the back, etc. She was amazing and had a lot of knowledge of alterations to help me envision what my dress will look like on me.

I am glad I picked Formal Spot. It takes a lot to put up with my tough crowd :)

I had such an amazing experience at Formal Spot. Lisa and Terri were SO helpful and so incredibly knowledgable, and they made me feel totally comfortable from the moment I stepped into the shop. Looking for wedding dresses was something I figured would be a little intimidating, but they made it fun and stress-free. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at The Formal Spot! My fiancé and I stopped into the shop literally the day after I had had a bad experience at another bridal shop. We were looking for a bowtie for our dog (our ring bearer!) and when I saw they sold wedding dresses, I immediately made an appointment! Having had a bad experience already, I was a little hesitant about going through the dress shopping experience again. Lisa and Terri were super sweet and helpful when we stopped in, so I felt hopeful about my upcoming appointment and I was not disappointed! Terri was adorable and kept me laughing as she put me into all the dresses I had chosen! She gave me her undivided attention and gave me the true bridal experience I had not received at the other shop. And when I couldn’t choose between two gowns, Lisa held the gowns up side by side and went over everything that was similar and different about them- really helping me to choose the right one! I also appreciated that she did not try to push the more expensive gown on me, it was actually the opposite, she was respectful of my budget and really just gave me the info I needed to make a decision to pick the gown that was right for me! I am absolutely obsessed with my Maggie Sottero gown and could not be happier! The customer service at The Formal Spot is top notch and the hand written thank you note they sent me was such a nice touch!! Thank you Lisa and Terri for making this experience so special! Brides, if you are looking for your dress, go here first! You will NOT be disappointed!
