I first emailed with Melissa McGowan and the team in February 2020 and quickly received a meeting with her.

As we arrived at our first meeting, Melissa guided my mom and I through the entire planning process. She sat us down and looked through all of our photos and asked many questions of what we liked/didn’t like. She then painted the picture of how each of the wedding spaces would look (ceremony, cocktail, reception + dessert space.)

Everything we discussed was spot on on our wedding day. The flowers were GORGEOUS and all of our guests raved about the decor.

Best florist, organized, punctual, affordable, friendly, lots of beautiful flower options! They have a cute little warehouse In Santa Ana... you can meet with them in person and talk all the details. They also provided a wedding arch for our ceremony (with set up and take down). They were just wonderful

We worked with Amanda at Flowers by Cina for our wedding at Casa Romantica. Amanda's work was nothing short of spectacular! I had a general idea of what I wanted, but I had no clue how to execute on that or how to come up with specific ideas for florals at a venue like Casa Romantica that has so many different rooms and locations (we used 6 or so distinct spaces at the venue throughout the course of the evening, so there was a lot to decorate)! Amanda beautifully incorporated our succulent theme with just the right amount of pops of color. She did this in a way that perfectly complimented the already beautiful venue. My bridal bouquet was stunning--Amanda simply knocked it out of the park! And the sweetheart table was gorgeous as well -- in the day time, the colors really popped and looked stunning, then at night all of the candles were lit up and it was super romantic. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda's work! Above all, Amanda was an absolute delight to work with. She respected my ideas but brought her own fantastic expertise to bear. And she expressed so much enthusiasm and excitement about our event. She also worked within my budget without compromising on the key designs and elements that were really important to me -- thank you!! I would work with Amanda again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to any couple looking to create a stunning wedding within a reasonable budget! Wow. Just wow. We hired Flowers by Cina for our wedding at the Hilton Waterfront this past weekend based on recommendations and the stunning arrangements they regularly do. Amanda Spradlin was our Event Designer and she made a bride and Mother of the Bride’s wedding dreams come true! Amanda was so easy and patient to work with and brought to life everything we imagined for the big day. I almost melted into a puddle when I saw the ceremony setup and later the reception. Our families were told by numerous guests that all of the arrangements were incredible. Thank you Amanda and Flowers by Cina for giving me my floral dream wedding!!

We used Flowers By Cina for our wedding on 6/15/19 a the Fashion Island Hotel. We worked with Karla, and she was an absolute delight -- highly professional and extremely knowledgeable! Her communication was impeccable and she listened to all of our requests. Karla and her team brought our vision to life and supported the updates we needed to make leading up to our wedding. We and all of our guests loved our flowers!

We hired Flowers by Cina for our wedding March 16th in Laguna Beach at hotel Seven4one. Karla was the designer I worked with, she was absolutely wonderful! I wanted boho, modern, tropical flowers, I sent Karla some pics of what I wanted and She brought my whole vision together for the price that was within our budget, another florist quoted us nearly double for the same pieces. Karla was so easy to talk with, great communication and gave me a quote within a day of me sending my request. They did an absolute amazing job and I was so impressed with my bouquet and wedding flowers and arch. She even had the idea to make my little girl and mini replica of my bouquet. Absolutely in love with my wedding flowers!

I was told about Flowers by Cina by both our wedding venue and our wedding coordinator. Therefore they were the first company I reached out to get a quote from. After emailing with a couple companies it was clear that Melissa was very personable and professional. I made an appointment to meet in person to discus what I envisioned for our wedding. I am not a huge flower person so my mom and I didn't see eye to eye on how many flowers and what kind of flowers we should have. Melissa and Ray listened to me when I told them about my vision for the look and then listened to my mom's vision. Both Melissa and Ray told us that they had not done a my kind of style of flowers for a wedding and that they were excited to do something new and different. I can't begin to explain how perfectly they combined my ideas and my mom's need for "more flowers". EVERYTHING was amazing! They took all of my ideas and made them a dream come true. My beachy theme with palm leaves and trees with a touch of only white flowers were gorgeous! I can'y wait to get pictures from my photographer to share just how amazing everything looked thanks to Melissa and Ray. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them- they are great!

Where do i even begin with how incredible Flowers By Cina & Melissa (the owner) are? My wedding planner introduced me to Melissa after we discussed how much I loved flowers and that the flower arrangements, centerpieces, and bouquets were one of my top priorities. I got married at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, on the Villa property which is beautiful in itself but is quite vast and large so filling that space decoratively may be a challenge. Melissa executed it all at level I could not have even dreamed of. The day I went to see the mock centerpieces I was speechless. While I knew I wanted flowers galore and statement making centerpieces I didn't really give her much else to go off other than, "all white." Yet she knew exactly what it was I was trying to convey and wanted. I was blown away she is a master at what she does. Then, to make it all even better I come to find out the day of the wedding that Melissa so generously added a few extra touches to spaces in our reception that she felt just needed a little something more. I trusted her with every step of designing my ceremony and reception space. It was stunning! Melissa and her team went significantly above and beyond anything that I had asked of her and continued to wow me even after contracts were signed, and payments were made. what impressed me (&my husband) was her incredible flexibility and accommodation to her clients needs. Flowers by Cina came in under budget (I was pleasantly shocked!) and far surpassed all expectations. I will be recommending this incredible floral and design studio to everyone!

Let me start by saying that I am in LOVE with Melissa and her team!!! Not even discussing her floral genius, she is just a genuine, honest, and awesome person. That said, it is amazing what this woman can do with flowers. We were simply BLOWN AWAY at our wedding.

We were first introduced to Melissa and her team by Kerrie Underhill (wedding planner extraordinaire). We loved Melissa's energy from the onset. After meeting with her, discussing our vision and seeing some photos, it was really an obvious and comfortable choice for us. We had met with other wedding florists, but there was definitely something that set Melissa apart- she really cared about getting to know our likes and dislikes, cared about our vision, and was excited about bringing our vision to life. Hiring Melissa was one of the best choices we made for our wedding.

When we walked up to the wedding ceremony space and into the reception the day of, we were honestly speechless. We were literally in a flower heaven, everything looked even more amazing than we could even imagine!!! From the centerpieces, to the cake table that had roses underneath the glass, to the chandelier Melissa chose to hang over the sweetheart table adorned with flowers, it was perfect. And again, Melissa went above and beyond. For instance, our ceremony trellis was covered with the most gorgeous blooms, and Melissa actually repurposed the trellis flowers for the ceremony. She literally had less than one hour to re-use the flowers and she was able to do so effectively and beautifully. What other florist goes the extra mile to execute your vision while saving you some money?

We honestly can't say enough about Melissa and her team of floral geniuses. We were SO LUCKY to have her as part of our team on our special day. Flowers by Cina is absolutely the best! Kelly was really willing to work with me and our budget! Their pieces were just STUNNING - from the bouquet (I wish I can post my bouquet here), the flowers of my huge entourage, to the altar flowers, to the centerpieces, and to the sweetheart table.
