I first emailed with Melissa McGowan and the team in February 2020 and quickly received a meeting with her.

As we arrived at our first meeting, Melissa guided my mom and I through the entire planning process. She sat us down and looked through all of our photos and asked many questions of what we liked/didn’t like. She then painted the picture of how each of the wedding spaces would look (ceremony, cocktail, reception + dessert space.)

Everything we discussed was spot on on our wedding day. The flowers were GORGEOUS and all of our guests raved about the decor.

The team at Flowers by Cina is extremely creative and can honestly, take any vision you have and exceed your expectations. I promise you - they will do an amazing job and make your dreams come true.

Beautiful flowers, punctual, affordable, great customer service

Best florist, organized, punctual, affordable, friendly, lots of beautiful flower options! They have a cute little warehouse In Santa Ana... you can meet with them in person and talk all the details. They also provided a wedding arch for our ceremony (with set up and take down). They were just wonderful

Stunning wedding, reasonable price!

We worked with Amanda at Flowers by Cina for our wedding at Casa Romantica. Amanda's work was nothing short of spectacular! I had a general idea of what I wanted, but I had no clue how to execute on that or how to come up with specific ideas for florals at a venue like Casa Romantica that has so many different rooms and locations (we used 6 or so distinct spaces at the venue throughout the course of the evening, so there was a lot to decorate)! Amanda beautifully incorporated our succulent theme with just the right amount of pops of color. She did this in a way that perfectly complimented the already beautiful venue. My bridal bouquet was stunning--Amanda simply knocked it out of the park! And the sweetheart table was gorgeous as well -- in the day time, the colors really popped and looked stunning, then at night all of the candles were lit up and it was super romantic. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda's work! Above all, Amanda was an absolute delight to work with. She respected my ideas but brought her own fantastic expertise to bear. And she expressed so much enthusiasm and excitement about our event. She also worked within my budget without compromising on the key designs and elements that were really important to me -- thank you!! I would work with Amanda again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to any couple looking to create a stunning wedding within a reasonable budget! Thank you Amanda for helping make our day perfect!

Floral Dreams!!

Wow. Just wow. We hired Flowers by Cina for our wedding at the Hilton Waterfront this past weekend based on recommendations and the stunning arrangements they regularly do. Amanda Spradlin was our Event Designer and she made a bride and Mother of the Bride’s wedding dreams come true! Amanda was so easy and patient to work with and brought to life everything we imagined for the big day. I almost melted into a puddle when I saw the ceremony setup and later the reception. Our families were told by numerous guests that all of the arrangements were incredible. Thank you Amanda and Flowers by Cina for giving me my floral dream wedding!!

Absolutely beautiful!

We used Flowers By Cina for our wedding on 6/15/19 a the Fashion Island Hotel. We worked with Karla, and she was an absolute delight -- highly professional and extremely knowledgeable! Her communication was impeccable and she listened to all of our requests. Karla and her team brought our vision to life and supported the updates we needed to make leading up to our wedding. We and all of our guests loved our flowers!

So impressed by Karla

We hired Flowers by Cina for our wedding March 16th in Laguna Beach at hotel Seven4one. Karla was the designer I worked with, she was absolutely wonderful! I wanted boho, modern, tropical flowers, I sent Karla some pics of what I wanted and She brought my whole vision together for the price that was within our budget, another florist quoted us nearly double for the same pieces. Karla was so easy to talk with, great communication and gave me a quote within a day of me sending my request. They did an absolute amazing job and I was so impressed with my bouquet and wedding flowers and arch. She even had the idea to make my little girl and mini replica of my bouquet. Absolutely in love with my wedding flowers!

I was told about Flowers by Cina by both our wedding venue and our wedding coordinator. Therefore they were the first company I reached out to get a quote from. After emailing with a couple companies it was clear that Melissa was very personable and professional. I made an appointment to meet in person to discus what I envisioned for our wedding. I am not a huge flower person so my mom and I didn't see eye to eye on how many flowers and what kind of flowers we should have. Melissa and Ray listened to me when I told them about my vision for the look and then listened to my mom's vision. Both Melissa and Ray told us that they had not done a my kind of style of flowers for a wedding and that they were excited to do something new and different. I can't begin to explain how perfectly they combined my ideas and my mom's need for "more flowers". EVERYTHING was amazing! They took all of my ideas and made them a dream come true. My beachy theme with palm leaves and trees with a touch of only white flowers were gorgeous! I can'y wait to get pictures from my photographer to share just how amazing everything looked thanks to Melissa and Ray. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them- they are great!

Where do i even begin with how incredible Flowers By Cina & Melissa (the owner) are? My wedding planner introduced me to Melissa after we discussed how much I loved flowers and that the flower arrangements, centerpieces, and bouquets were one of my top priorities. I got married at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, on the Villa property which is beautiful in itself but is quite vast and large so filling that space decoratively may be a challenge. Melissa executed it all at level I could not have even dreamed of. The day I went to see the mock centerpieces I was speechless. While I knew I wanted flowers galore and statement making centerpieces I didn't really give her much else to go off other than, "all white." Yet she knew exactly what it was I was trying to convey and wanted. I was blown away she is a master at what she does. Then, to make it all even better I come to find out the day of the wedding that Melissa so generously added a few extra touches to spaces in our reception that she felt just needed a little something more. I trusted her with every step of designing my ceremony and reception space. It was stunning! Melissa and her team went significantly above and beyond anything that I had asked of her and continued to wow me even after contracts were signed, and payments were made. what impressed me (&my husband) was her incredible flexibility and accommodation to her clients needs. Flowers by Cina came in under budget (I was pleasantly shocked!) and far surpassed all expectations. I will be recommending this incredible floral and design studio to everyone!

PERFECTION.

Let me start by saying that I am in LOVE with Melissa and her team!!! Not even discussing her floral genius, she is just a genuine, honest, and awesome person. That said, it is amazing what this woman can do with flowers. We were simply BLOWN AWAY at our wedding.

We were first introduced to Melissa and her team by Kerrie Underhill (wedding planner extraordinaire). We loved Melissa's energy from the onset. After meeting with her, discussing our vision and seeing some photos, it was really an obvious and comfortable choice for us. We had met with other wedding florists, but there was definitely something that set Melissa apart- she really cared about getting to know our likes and dislikes, cared about our vision, and was excited about bringing our vision to life. Hiring Melissa was one of the best choices we made for our wedding.

When we walked up to the wedding ceremony space and into the reception the day of, we were honestly speechless. We were literally in a flower heaven, everything looked even more amazing than we could even imagine!!! From the centerpieces, to the cake table that had roses underneath the glass, to the chandelier Melissa chose to hang over the sweetheart table adorned with flowers, it was perfect. And again, Melissa went above and beyond. For instance, our ceremony trellis was covered with the most gorgeous blooms, and Melissa actually repurposed the trellis flowers for the ceremony. She literally had less than one hour to re-use the flowers and she was able to do so effectively and beautifully. What other florist goes the extra mile to execute your vision while saving you some money?

We honestly can't say enough about Melissa and her team of floral geniuses. We were SO LUCKY to have her as part of our team on our special day. If you're looking for a team of florists with an amazing energy who will go above and beyond to perfectly execute your vision, then Flowers by Cina is honestly a no-brainer.

Flowers by Cina is absolutely the best! Kelly was really willing to work with me and our budget! Their pieces were just STUNNING - from the bouquet (I wish I can post my bouquet here), the flowers of my huge entourage, to the altar flowers, to the centerpieces, and to the sweetheart table. It was just PERFECT! I would very highly recommend them!

I had a budget of $2k for flowers. Everything I wanted was going to cost $4k. Flowers by Cina made it happen and stayed within my budget! The flowers were absolutely stunning. Her team was SO professional on site. She also added a few flowers to my cake to make it look gorgeous. Ask yourself one question... Do I want beautiful flowers? If the answer is yes, then you have found the place. Melissa and Flowers by Cina did the flowers for my wedding and rehearsal dinner, totally different looks, both equally breathtaking.

I knew within 5 minutes of meeting with Melissa that we would be working together. She was so easy to work with, so warm and friendly, and she really loves what she does. She is able to take your general idea and pinpoint just what you are looking for and make it better. Melissa has a great eye for style and adding a little something special to her arrangements. Nothing Melissa does is boring or average. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and her arrangements are some of the most beautiful I have seen.

Her services are not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for and in the case of Flowers by Cina, you're getting beautiful flowers by an experienced professional. Gorgeous, but pricy, but ultimately worth it 100%.

Melissa and her team are so passionate and creative with flowers! This is one reason they were highly recommended by my coordinator, Wendy Dahl. I was working on a specific budget but still wanted that WOW effect for both the ceremony and reception. Melissa suggested how we could best repurpose the ceremony flowers for the reception, and added special touches just for the reception so that the centerpieces had extra drama and would still look different. She was so personable and patient throughout the several iterations of the budget and design! I can't stress this enough. She even did a flower mock-up for me in the run-up to the wedding to confirm I was 100% happy with how she captured my vision. The quality and freshness of the flowers resulted in breathtaking designs, and the "candle treatment", as she called it, for the tables added to the romantic glow. Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face! Every guest commented on how beautiful the arrangements were- even the men, so you know they had to outstanding! Check her out on instagram too. Melissa and her team were so unbelievable to work with. They were flexible with our vision and budget and they produced the most gorgeous flowers! I had so many people posting photos of our flowers after the wedding. My husband built the arch we got married under and without seeing it in person they came on that day and truly made it look like a fairy tale. All the personal flowers and reception flowers were spectacular! Cannot say enough good things about them and their product!

Melissa is so wonderful to work with! She is so friendly and knowledgeable, and she really takes the time to understand your style and who you are as a couple. We didn't have a specific vision, and we were so impressed that she was able to grasp exactly what we were looking for (with minimal comments/input from us). She also guided us whenever we were uncertain about a specific item (e.g., whether to do a print for the aisle runner to the gazebo). Her gorgeous work surpassed all our expectations and made our wedding day the most beautiful day we've seen so far! So thankful for her wonderful design eye and hard work!

We just had our wedding in June, and the flowers were beautiful! I was so pleased with how they turned out. I do not know much about flowers, so I told Melissa the colors I wanted, and her and her team did the rest! They were professional, friendly, and helpful when I met with them. We worked with Flower by Cina and they were incredible. We met with over 5 different florists before selecting this great team. They were creative and cost conscious in approaching which flowers and designs that were chosen. We had a black-tie wedding and our budget was respected and we still received a beautiful selection of flowers for our centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres. The professionalism and creativity was really nice to have in the planning and execution of the wedding.

Melissa and her team at Flowers by Cina did an amazing job! Myself, Melissa and my planner worked together to collaborate and talk though ideas. Half way through my planning process I decided to completely change the look of my wedding and Melissa was very understanding and worked with me to create the new vision.

My wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend Flowers by Cina!!

They made me the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I told Sara I wanted whimsical and romantic and she delivered beyond me wildest dreams! My flower crown was the most dreamy I've ever seen and my bouquet had a giant succulent that made it unique, bold and different! They were incredible!!!

Courtney did a beautiful job with coordinating the theme and feel of our reception with the floral decor as well as linen choices! The bouquets, floral arrangements, and candle arrangements perfectly set the tone for our reception and so many guests commented on how amazing the color palate and flowers were. I can not put into words how amazing all of the flowers were for my wedding day. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely beautiful!!! I had the pleasure of working with Melissa, the owner, and let me tell you she knows her flowers! She understood the overall vision of what I wanted and executed it beyond my expectations. My flowers & centerpieces were breathtaking!!! Even better than I imagined. I worked with Kelly who really got a feel for what my vision was & helped make that a reality. I was nervous because I chose to do vases with roses & floating candles rather than your usual flower centerpieces, so Kelly mocked one up for me to come in & see ahead of time & it really put me at ease. The roses in the centerpieces were huge, I've never seen anything like it. I was taken away. My bouquet & my Bridesmaids were all stunning. And my little flower girls basket was better than I imagined. I wanted white with black & they made it exactly how I would have envisioned, but had not seen anywhere before. I highly recommend them for your Wedding.

I absolutely loved my flowers and decor. I worked with Melissa and my coordinator Brian, on a very tight budget and she made it work beyond my wildest dreams. Kelly from Flowers by Cina was just amazing ! She was so sweet and not pushy at all. She was able to use the flowers that we wanted for our ceremony and reception and still was able to work with our tight budget. She was very patient, sweet and was very helpful when we had any questions. The flowers looked amazing and just beautiful. The color combinations looked great !! During the planning phase of my wedding, the venue I had chosen recommended Flowers By Cina. My coordinator had worked with them before and said their work was beautiful. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Melissa and she was an absolute joy to work with. She listened to what I wanted, worked with me on my budget and made some wonderful suggestions. The one thing I loved the most about my wedding was my flowers. I loved the colors, the softness and how all the flowers I choose were arranged together. My floral expectations were blown away!! Melissa and her team did an amazing job of pulling off my vision. My venue was right, but the didn't mention how great of an experience it was to work with Melissa and her friendly staff. I would recommend Flowers By Cina to any Bride or for any occasion you would like to make extra special.

About four months before my wedding, I realized the florist I had picked was not understanding my vision. So my coordinator put me in touch with Melissa at Flowers by Cina. And it was the best decision I ever made. Flowers by Cina absolutely nailed it. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. Melissa and the team went above and beyond for me. I really, really wanted ranunculus in most of the arrangement but especially in my bouquet, but at the mock-up Melissa let me know that they were already done for the season and she didn't think it would be possible. But sure enough, on the Big Day, I walked into the bridal suite, and there in my bouquet were ranunculus. That seems like something small, but it meant so much to me. Meeting with Kelly from Flowers By Cina was one of the highlights during my wedding planning . Not only was Kelly knowledgeable in knowing almost everything there is to know about floral/decor but she knew a lot about my venue choice as well. My bouquet was so beautiful, I’ve never seen anything like it, only in magazines! My ceremony décor took my breath away. I wanted twinkle lights & tulle everywhere and it looked so magical. My reception looked gorgeous, the linens, centerpieces..what a wonderful job. All the bridal party floral was just so pretty.
Kelly came to say hello just before I walked down the aisle, and I’m so glad she did as she calmed my nerves a little.

5 stars should say it all. What I would say is that "Melissa" took my inspiration pics, took my vague description of my wish list and brought it to life, better than I could've ever envisioned or picked out of a book.

Melissa and her team did such a great job with my flowers! I had visited many florists before I finally found her through a friend. She listened to what I wanted, was helpful at giving suggestions, and helped me stay within my budget!

Melissa at Flowers by Cina did such a fabulous job on my flowers. They were so, so beautiful and I had so many compliments on my flowers - both during the ceremony and at the reception! She was able to take my flexible vision and bring it together within my budget to make the day beautiful. If you are a bride that needs same day response of emails, then this might not be the vendor for you, but given the nature of my needs, Melissa was more than acceptable and did a good job!

I was blown away by the flowers and decor on my wedding day. Melissa was so helpful and despite my limited creativity she wab able to give me the wedding of my dreams. Although I thought the expense was high - the stunning reception was worth it. Thank you Melissa!

I just got married at the sSummit House in Fullerton and used Flowers by Cina as they are a preferred vendor. First of all - I really recommend going off of your venue's preferred vendor's list. There are SO many things that go into a wedding, using someone that is familiar with the place and people you are getting married at will make everything easier.

Overall, I am very happy with Flowers by Cina. At first, I worked closely with a lady named Sheila to come up with perfect flowers for my wedding that also fit my budget. She took her time, really listened to me and my ideas, and didn't pressure me to buy anything more than what I wanted. However, a couple months before the wedding, I got a call from a man named Martin saying he was taking over all of Sheila's accounts as she no longer works there. He, in my opinion, was not as responsive to emails nor did I get the comforting feeling like he really understood my vision, the way I did with Sheila. That being said, my flowers still turned out beautifully. I stayed within budget and I had many compliments on my flowers. Everything was set up on time and there weren't any issues. I even was emailing him just a week before the wedding, adding some gazebo decorations, and they accommodated even though it was so close to the day of the wedding.
