Nancy and her team at Flores Mantilla were truly one of the highlights of our wedding. From the very beginning, Nancy took the time to really understand my vision, and somehow turned it into something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The florals were beyond stunning and they completely transformed every space and set the tone for the entire day.

What stood out most, though, was Nancy herself. She was always so kind, responsive, and accommodating, even when I decided to add a few last-minute pieces (which turned out to be some of my favorites!). Her professionalism and her eye for detail are unmatched, but it’s her warmth and genuine care that make her so special to work with.

Working with Nancy was such a joy from start to finish and she made what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. Her calm confidence and creative energy made me trust that everything would be perfect (and it truly was).

I attended a wedding and saw these beautiful flowers! I asked where they were from and I was told: Flores Mantilla. I then went to the shop and bought flowers for myself. Went to Flores for a simple, classic, beautiful and fresh bouquet of flowers. I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. The flowers were fresh and lasted very long. To top it off, the girl wrapping was super fast and wrapped it beautifully!! I was walking down the street and kept getting complimented!!! They wrap the flowers in plastic with lovely tissue and a lovely ribbon. Very classic.

Nancy and the exceptional staff at Flores Mantilla created everything floral for our wedding. My wife has a keen eye and a clear vision of what she wanted. She requested a close harmony palette to compliment the wedding party’s attire while suiting both the outdoor, home setting and season.

Nancy created an uncommon balance: it was a subtle color harmony, complimenting the wedding party and the bride while enriching the setting and the ceremony.

From boutonnières to bouquets, table centerpieces for our reception to the festooning and garlands for the arbor under which we took our vows, the full suite of flowers was subtle and understated; powerful while remaining exquisite.

For us, the focal point of the wedding was the altar at the foot of our garden waterfall. Nancy turned a spindly, spare arbor frame into a symphony, wrapping it with garland and greens, draping festoons from the arbor’s half moon top and flanking the base with period urns cascading blossoms and boughs. Bride and Groom were framed by white and pink roses, white hydrangea, cymbidium orchid blossoms, Irish Bells and Dusty Miller, laced with feathered asparagus fern, creating a halo of flowers around us as we stood to face each other.

Weddings hold the promise to be magical. Nancy and Flores Mantilla’s crew, that include her great husband John, made that promise come true, bringing my wife’s vision to life, delicately, persuasively yet elegantly.

We found Nancy easy to work with. And we were delighted that she could, based upon a single conversation, translate a clear verbal impression into the visual magic that arrived precisely as planned, exactly as imagined. A surprising proportion of our guests said ours was the loveliest wedding they had attended. Nancy’s floral art was certainly a grace note within a beautifully orchestrated event.

I am sure ours would never have been reported as a memorable experience with any other than Nancy Mantilla, artist, at the floral helm. We are abidingly happy and remain deeply grateful.
