Fjord Fish Market opened down the road from its' current location in March of 1990. Shortly thereafter, fire forced it to move to it's fondly remembered red shack at 137 River Rd. Owned and operated by the Nygaard family. Fjord Fisheries, built a reputation for selling the best fresh fish and seafood in Fairfield County CT with outstanding service,as well as catering the most awesome clambakes in the area.
