Would recommend Five Oaks to anyone looking for a wedding reception. Nicole went up and beyond to make our daughter's wedding reception the most beautiful it could be. Nicole was so helpful with any ideas we had. All the staff was so friendly and helpful during the reception. Had so many compliments how delicious the food was. Can't say enough how wonderful this venue is.

My husband and I got married at Five Oaks this year (May 2017) and we were extremely happy with everything. The venue, food, and staff were all amazing. Nicole was awesome to work with and made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Five Oaks Lodge to everyone!

Nicole and the Five Oaks staff are fabulous! They are on-point with every aspect of the planning, and the final result could not have been more wonderful. Every aspect of our experience was even more perfect than we could have imagined. The decor was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Magnificent!

I would recommend Five Oaks Lodge to anyone looking to host a wedding or special event. We were very pleased with our decision to hold our wedding and reception there.

First, the property is beautiful. The lodge is rustic, yet elegant, both inside and out. Inside, the grand fireplace is a romantic and dramatic focal point for the room. Outside the lodge, the grounds are gorgeous. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the landscape. There are so many pretty, mature trees. We were married in front of the lake. We had a spectacular sunset the day of our wedding. Many of our guests were seated on the back deck of the lodge for the reception. The deck overlooks the water and is a very pretty setting in itself.

Second, the food! We received so many compliments on the food. We requested their signature mac & cheese as a side item for the reception. Cheese is my love language, so it was definitely my favorite! Everything, the salad, chicken, brisket, and rolls, was excellent. The brisket in particular, was very popular with our guests. We were able to serve a hearty meal for a reasonable price. Five Oaks is definitely known around town for their wonderful food. They didn't disappoint!

Finally, and most importantly, Nicole! Nicole, the coordinator at Five Oaks, knows how to put together a wedding! She was very helpful as we picked our linens, choose our menu and created our timeline. She has an eye for detail. Nicole offered great advice every step of the way. She was incredibly prompt and professional...answering our emails and calls quickly. I plan large corporate dinners for my job and Nicole is by far the best coordinator I have worked with. She also is conscious of your budget. She will help you plan a beautiful event, but make sure you stay within your parameters.

In closing, the setting and food at Five Oaks are top notch, but what really makes the place special is the service from Nicole and her staff!!!

Nicole makes everything come together seamlessly. She covers every detail and is very knowledgeable while she presents all options of layouts and looks for the day. She was SO easy to work with and I was glad she was overseeing the details so I didn't have to worry about them at all. The food and service was absolutely the best. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about how awesome it was. The area is so beautiful there and they do a great job at letting everyone enjoy it - inside and outside. I had always wanted to get married at Five Oaks Lodge even though I had only ever seen pictures of it. While venue shopping some of the more affordable options (or the ones who initially seem more affordable) were already booked or didn't quite "wow" us. The initial sticker shock was a little overwhelming, I'll admit, but after we crunched the numbers between choosing Five Oaks and having almost everything included or a venue that only provided a shell and we'd be responsible for all rentals and catering there was NO price difference! The choice was obvious. I literally cannot say enough amazing things about Five Oaks and Nicole! The venue itself is gorgeous, it requires very little (if any) decorations. The deck is amazing! The reception was so beautiful...it was even better than my vision of it. They set up and tear down all of the tables, place settings, chairs...etc. The only things we needed to set up were the things we brought and Nicole busted her butt helping us set up my decorations (which was unexpected and much appreciated and honestly the only reason everything got set up in time). The food!! Oh gosh, the food. We've been to a lot of weddings...and I mean a LOT. Hands down the best food we've ever had at a wedding and I'm not just saying that. Every person at our wedding raved about the food and wanted the recipes. The Mac and Cheese! Nicole was amazing. She is GREAT at her job. She listened to what I wanted as I tried to explain my vision and she absolutely delivered. The girl knows weddings. All of the staff, servers, and bartenders were awesome, too! They made sure my husband and I got a full plate of food and that we always had a drink in our hand. They even cut and served the cake for us. We are so incredibly happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out. Five Oaks was completely worth the money and if we had to do it again we'd do it all the same! Thank you Nicole, Randy, and the staff for making our big day absolutely amazing!!

I am the father of the bride. My daughter visited quite a few venues around town, but she knew when she arrived at Five Oaks that this was the place for her wedding reception. From the moment I met Nicole, I knew my daughter had made the right choice. Nicole was delightful to work with from start to finish. The day of the wedding came, and we had no problem getting in early that morning and setting up. That evening we arrived at Five Oaks after holding the ceremony at a church several miles away. The servers greeted the wedding party with glasses of ice water while we were taking photos outdoors on a hot June evening. Once we got inside, the servers continually made sure my daughter and her new husband were taken care of throughout, and my wife and I were free to greet guests. The food was OUTSTANDING. One of my closest friends (a medical doctor in his late 60s) told me afterward that it was the best food he had ever eaten at a wedding reception. When the night was done and everyone had left, it was 11:35 p.m. My wife was ready to leave, and I said, "No, let's spend these last 25 minutes by ourselves sitting on the porch, sipping drinks and taking in all that had happened. Two servers remained there on site, never trying to rush us out. I could not have been more thrilled with the service from start to finish. Five Oaks is an incredible venue with delicious food and an incredible staff.

This place is just beautiful! Everyone is wonderful! They were sooooo nice and accommodating on my wedding day and definitely made us feel sooo special on our beautiful day! One of our guests said it was the best wedding she had ever been to! Great food! Great atmosphere! And the best staff!!!
