Wedding reception

Would recommend Five Oaks to anyone looking for a wedding reception. Nicole went up and beyond to make our daughter's wedding reception the most beautiful it could be. Nicole was so helpful with any ideas we had. All the staff was so friendly and helpful during the reception. Had so many compliments how delicious the food was. Can't say enough how wonderful this venue is.

My husband and I got married at Five Oaks this year (May 2017) and we were extremely happy with everything. The venue, food, and staff were all amazing. Nicole was awesome to work with and made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Five Oaks Lodge to everyone!

Nicole and the Five Oaks staff are fabulous! They are on-point with every aspect of the planning, and the final result could not have been more wonderful. Every aspect of our experience was even more perfect than we could have imagined. The decor was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Magnificent!

Absolutely beautiful flawless reception. Nicole was amazing. I would highly recommend Five Oaks without hesitation. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and very helpful and the overall location was amazing.

I would recommend Five Oaks Lodge to anyone looking to host a wedding or special event. We were very pleased with our decision to hold our wedding and reception there.

First, the property is beautiful. The lodge is rustic, yet elegant, both inside and out. Inside, the grand fireplace is a romantic and dramatic focal point for the room. Outside the lodge, the grounds are gorgeous. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the landscape. There are so many pretty, mature trees. We were married in front of the lake. We had a spectacular sunset the day of our wedding. Many of our guests were seated on the back deck of the lodge for the reception. The deck overlooks the water and is a very pretty setting in itself.

Second, the food! We received so many compliments on the food. We requested their signature mac & cheese as a side item for the reception. Cheese is my love language, so it was definitely my favorite! Everything, the salad, chicken, brisket, and rolls, was excellent. The brisket in particular, was very popular with our guests. We were able to serve a hearty meal for a reasonable price. Five Oaks is definitely known around town for their wonderful food. They didn't disappoint!

Finally, and most importantly, Nicole! Nicole, the coordinator at Five Oaks, knows how to put together a wedding! She was very helpful as we picked our linens, choose our menu and created our timeline. She has an eye for detail. Nicole offered great advice every step of the way. She was incredibly prompt and professional...answering our emails and calls quickly. I plan large corporate dinners for my job and Nicole is by far the best coordinator I have worked with. She also is conscious of your budget. She will help you plan a beautiful event, but make sure you stay within your parameters.

In closing, the setting and food at Five Oaks are top notch, but what really makes the place special is the service from Nicole and her staff!!!

Nicole makes everything come together seamlessly. She covers every detail and is very knowledgeable while she presents all options of layouts and looks for the day. She was SO easy to work with and I was glad she was overseeing the details so I didn't have to worry about them at all. The food and service was absolutely the best. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about how awesome it was. The area is so beautiful there and they do a great job at letting everyone enjoy it - inside and outside. I'd highly recommend Five Oaks to anyone wanting the perfect day! Thank you for making ours the best!!

I had always wanted to get married at Five Oaks Lodge even though I had only ever seen pictures of it. While venue shopping some of the more affordable options (or the ones who initially seem more affordable) were already booked or didn't quite "wow" us. The initial sticker shock was a little overwhelming, I'll admit, but after we crunched the numbers between choosing Five Oaks and having almost everything included or a venue that only provided a shell and we'd be responsible for all rentals and catering there was NO price difference! The choice was obvious. I literally cannot say enough amazing things about Five Oaks and Nicole! The venue itself is gorgeous, it requires very little (if any) decorations. The deck is amazing! The reception was so beautiful...it was even better than my vision of it. They set up and tear down all of the tables, place settings, chairs...etc. The only things we needed to set up were the things we brought and Nicole busted her butt helping us set up my decorations (which was unexpected and much appreciated and honestly the only reason everything got set up in time). The food!! Oh gosh, the food. We've been to a lot of weddings...and I mean a LOT. Hands down the best food we've ever had at a wedding and I'm not just saying that. Every person at our wedding raved about the food and wanted the recipes. The Mac and Cheese! Nicole was amazing. She is GREAT at her job. She listened to what I wanted as I tried to explain my vision and she absolutely delivered. The girl knows weddings. All of the staff, servers, and bartenders were awesome, too! They made sure my husband and I got a full plate of food and that we always had a drink in our hand. They even cut and served the cake for us. We are so incredibly happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out. Five Oaks was completely worth the money and if we had to do it again we'd do it all the same! Thank you Nicole, Randy, and the staff for making our big day absolutely amazing!!

I am the father of the bride. My daughter visited quite a few venues around town, but she knew when she arrived at Five Oaks that this was the place for her wedding reception. From the moment I met Nicole, I knew my daughter had made the right choice. Nicole was delightful to work with from start to finish. The day of the wedding came, and we had no problem getting in early that morning and setting up. That evening we arrived at Five Oaks after holding the ceremony at a church several miles away. The servers greeted the wedding party with glasses of ice water while we were taking photos outdoors on a hot June evening. Once we got inside, the servers continually made sure my daughter and her new husband were taken care of throughout, and my wife and I were free to greet guests. The food was OUTSTANDING. One of my closest friends (a medical doctor in his late 60s) told me afterward that it was the best food he had ever eaten at a wedding reception. When the night was done and everyone had left, it was 11:35 p.m. My wife was ready to leave, and I said, "No, let's spend these last 25 minutes by ourselves sitting on the porch, sipping drinks and taking in all that had happened. Two servers remained there on site, never trying to rush us out. I could not have been more thrilled with the service from start to finish. Five Oaks is an incredible venue with delicious food and an incredible staff.

This place is just beautiful! Everyone is wonderful! They were sooooo nice and accommodating on my wedding day and definitely made us feel sooo special on our beautiful day! One of our guests said it was the best wedding she had ever been to! Great food! Great atmosphere! And the best staff!!!

We held my daughters wedding and reception at Five Oaks Lodge. I cannot find the correct words to describe how perfect everything was. Nicole has been fantastic to work with from start to finish. The entire staff that worked the event were beyond impressive. Every detail was perfect, the service was outstanding, the food was awesome. They were all so attentive, efficient and polite. They made us feel special.I have received many comments from guests regarding how wonderful everything was as well. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. In fact, I wouldn't even begin to think of using any other venue. It is a well oiled machine and incredible!

We absolutely LOVED Five Oaks! It was the perfect location for our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and needed no extra decor besides the centerpieces on the tables. It was also the perfect setting for amazing pictures done by our photographer who said it was the best location she has ever shot at for a wedding venue.

The food was amazing!! We had multiple people tell us they cleared their plate at the reception. There are many different food options to meet different price ranges and it was all delicious.

The staff was INCREDIBLE!! When we went for tastings they were super accommodating and very friendly. During the reception we had a staff member at our sweetheart table every 10 minutes checking to see if we needed anything.

Nicole was GREAT to work with. She responded to emails very quickly, was very flexible and accommodating to requests but also gave her opinion in a very professional manner, and made the whole event planning fun and easy.

I would highly recommend using this venue. We are so glad that we did! :-)

We had our reception at Five Oaks Lodge, and it was absolutely perfect!!! Not only is the rustic elegance of Five Oaks perfect, but the staff was amazing! They were so polite and helpful! And the food....oh my gosh the food....AMAZING!

So happy we chose Five Oaks Lodge for our wedding! Nicole is so professional. She is so responsive to all your questions and comments. She picks right up on what you're looking to do at your reception and guides you toward that goal. When I first walked into the lodge before the guests arrived for the reception it looked so beautiful I almost cried, it was exactly what we had envisioned. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! I would recommend Five Oaks to anyone looking for a place for their reception!

What a perfect venue for a wedding! Nicole was great to work with. She promptly answered any and all questions, referred vendors, and provided support throughout the event. Nicole was absolutley wonderful! I had many questions and am sure was sometimes the "over-barring" bride and she answered everyone of my questions, kept me calm and executed my perfect wedding. I wish I could go back and re-live my wedding night, thanks to the staff and Nicole at Five Oaks. The venue was perfect for us. The lodge and water view matched our personalities and taste to a T. Our guest had an excellent time and would not stop raving about the food. We did a moderate dinner around $20-22 per person and it was AMAZING. Best wedding venue in the Tulsa area.

Nicole and everyone on the Five Oaks staff were wonderful to work with. They helped make our day better than we could have dreamed!! The day of, I didn't have to worry about anything. They made sure I had a plate to eat. The grounds were beautiful that helped make my wedding over the top. I will continue to recommend Five Oaks to everyone for weddings, parties and other events!

Nicole at Five Oaks is simply amazing! She was so nice, helpful and straight forward. No last minute surprises like I have heard of with other venues. As for the food, it has been two weeks since the wedding and people are STILL telling me over and over how great the food was and how nice the staff was to everyone. This place was worth every single penny.

“Five Oaks Lodge” is an INCREDIBLE place! Nicole Graber, Five Oaks’ Event Coordinator, was with us from booking to event execution. She is very talented and has a great eye for detail. Event coordination is crucial to a successful evening and she's a master at it. She assisted us with planning our menu, room design and décor, and referred her preferred vendors, who proved to be nothing short of amazing. Not only did our daughter want a beautiful reception venue, but she also wanted to serve her guests amazing food. We're a "Foodie" family from Atlanta, GA and thought there couldn't be a venue in Tulsa, OK with incredible food. We soon discovered, fortunately, that there was such a place at “Five Oaks Lodge”. Our wedding guests, who traveled from near and far, continue to rave about the food. Upon our guests' arrival, smartly dressed servers took drink orders and passed delicious hors d'oeuvres of grilled shrimp and grilled asparagus wrapped in smoked ham. Guests enjoyed “Cocktail Hour” from the deck overlooking the beautiful lake and surrounding landscape. Dinner began with “plated salads” of spring lettuces, strawberries, blueberries, praline pecans, and goat cheese with champagne vinaigrette. An entrée buffet followed with Hand-Carved Grilled Tenderloin of Beef, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Chicken, Sautéed Haricot Vert, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, and House-made Yeast Rolls. Dessert included a bride and groom’s cake, Gelato, and Sparkling Chocolate Bon Bon’s. After a delicious dinner, accompanied by amazing wine, guests danced the night away. After the final dance was played, guests were ushered outside to gather along the drive. With a roaring fire burning in the outdoor fireplace, sparklers were passed to “Light the Path” as the bride and groom made their grand “Sparkler Exit”. “Five Oaks Lodge” is the perfect venue! Thank you so very much to Nicole and her amazing staff for a truly magical evening.

Nicole is amazing! she made it easy! as they can take care of almost everything! the venue is gorgeous and the food was wonderful!! I would highly recommend this place! all my guests loved it. and there's plenty of parking!

I can't say enough to express how great this place is. They are very accommodating to your needs, very flexible. And extremely friendly. They are easy to work with and work with you every step of the way. The place is beautiful and welcoming. If you want an outdoor ceremony I would recommend them.

Five Oaks was a great lodge with a rustic feel. We loved being on the patio right over the water (where we had our ceremony). It was a beautiful venue at a reasonable price.

Five Oaks was one of the best decisions Iade about the wedding (groom comes in first!) Nicole was great to work with. She was extremely flexible but also responsive and helpful. We planned the wedding in three months from Texas and she was understanding about time crunches and provided help with suggesting vendors and even calling one of them for me. The wedding ceremony was lovely and the reception set up was flawless. She and her staff also helped the reception flow smoothly. I have had more than one person tell me it was the best reception food they've had, and it was one of the prettiest weddings they've seen. THANK YOU

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at Five Oaks. It was a pleasure working with Nicole and her staff. The ambiance was magical. The food was fabulous and the overall experience was a pleasure. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had 2 daughters get married within 9 months and we had both receptions at Five Oaks Lodge. We were very happy with both receptions and received so many compliments on the atmosphere as well as the food. We had beautiful weather for both and enjoyed having a reception where our guests could be inside but also, enjoy the beautiful deck looking out over the water. Nicole was very patient with us and was always willing to answer all our questions! She was easy to reach by phone or email. Both our daughters wanted the chicken and brisket dinner and the food was excellent for both. The guests at both receptions were very complimentary about the meal and many said it was the best food they have had at any reception. Nicole was also very good at her estimate for both receptions. I highly recommend Five Oaks and would love to have another event there sometime:)

We had my sister's reception in June 2011 and mine in March 2012 at Five Oaks Lodge, and they did a wonderful job! Nicole is a pleasure to work with, and is always easy to contact. She is very nice, creative and helpful. We had the brisket and chicken for both of the receptions and it was amazing! We recieved so many compliments on the food and venue. We have and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know! Both of our experiences were fantastic! Thanks Nicole!

My daughter got married at Five Oaks and it was wonderful! Nichole was right on the money with her estimates for us on food, booze and everything. The food was fabulous, all my guests are still saying how good it was. The ladies bathroom was very clean and nice with terry towels for every guest to dry there hands on, what a nice touch! The wait staff was helpful and very nice. The bartender was also helpful and very professional. Nichole did an outstanding job of organizing and helping my daughter plan her wedding and reception in the lodge. We couldn't have found a better or more lovely place than Five Oaks for my daughters big day! Thank you for help making her day a wonderful success!

Five Oaks was absolutely amazing! The location is in town yet you get the country feel and the decor and landscaping provides for gorgeous photos and a cozy atmosphere. Just walking into this place, even when its completely empty, you get an at home, welcoming feeling. Nicole was great to work with. She was prompt with answering questions and very accurate on her estimates. She has great suggestions and really knows the business and is very patient when asked the same questions several times! We even had to make last minute changes when it came to our ceremony due to rain, and she made it all happen with out a hitch. They also did our catering, and the food was outstanding. We did a buffet style meal and everyone thought the brisket was the best they had ever had.

Great experience from start to finish! Nicole was awesome to work with and made the entire journey fun! Wasn't inexpensive, but worth the expense. Great food and beverage, great décor and lighting, great ambiance and music!

My event held at Five Oaks was a wedding reception. Everything was just as I had hoped - the tables were beautiful, food and service was great. We have received nothing but rave reviews on the food from all our family and friends! Nicole is great to work with and is a terrific event coordinator. She obviously loves her job! Working with Nicole made the job of planning the wedding and reception much easier. Five Oaks took care of every detail. The food was amazing, and we received so many compliments on our choice. We are very glad we chose Five Oaks!

Everything turned out amazing. Had a great time and all of the guests loved everything about this venue. While saying that, it was a little stressful at times because I didn't really have as much communication from the coordinator and luckily had some outside help. Overall though it did all come out exactly as I wanted and was great. The atmosphere, food, layout, everything turned out great!!

We had a wonderful wedding at Five Oaks Lodge. It was a bit stressful working out all of the details from out of town (Oklahoma City) and Nicole's personality can take a bit to get used to, but once you get to know her she is easy to work with and will make sure you get what you want (within reason) for your big day. The food was deee-licious, our guests were talking about it for months after the wedding! And it was so convenient to have the ceremony and reception all in one place overlooking a beautiful lake. We didn't spend any extra money on lighting and the place looked absolutely gorgeous. Our pictures turned out wonderfully and our day was perfect. Overall- highly recommended!

Five Oaks was a beautiful place for our wedding ceremony and reception. All of our guest thought this venue was stunning. Nicole was very flexible and able to meet and discuss different options for the venue. Five Oaks was very accommodating on layout and design. The deck is a great place to have the ceremony with the lake in the background. The team did a fast job of transitioning the ceremony area for lounging at the reception. Lovely venue!

Five Oaks also did all of our catering at the wedding. The food was SPECTACULAR, my only regret was that I didn't order a little extra! We have some people in our family that really like food and they were all delighted at the quality of the food. Nicole was willing to work with our budget and requests. I recommend the beef tenderloin! It was tender and juicy. The team did a great job of setting up the buffet and breaking it down. If you want to leave time for people to get seconds please tell them. We didn't and the next thing I knew the food was cleaned up. Also I believe they feed their staff off of your order, so make sure you order extra if you want seconds. They also cut our cake for us so we didn't have to worry about it and wrap it up at the end of the night if you ask. Be careful on your timeline, they try really hard to stick to it (as in you can't extend the time of the bar at the end of the night.) Would definitely recommend.

Venue is beautiful. Staff unfriendly and not very welcoming food was good but not enough and felt like they were rushing everyone out. Had till midnight but by nine had taken everyone's plates and were cleaning up and guest felt rushed

I was very unhappy with this venue - the coordinator was not helpful or quick at responding. She was very pushy of her wants instead of asking mine and was not friendly at all. She does NOT allow silk flowers which I was very disappointed about. She will not hold any of your things (sign in book, cake cutlery, toasting glasses, etc.) the night before the wedding. She told us that there would be a plate of food held to the side for us which didn't happen - by the time we got to the food they were already cleaning it up. We were just very disappointed about our experience here and definitely would NOT recommend anyone to use this for their wedding day - it is such a special day the last thing a bride wants is to have to worry about things and that is all I did with this place!
