Reviews of First Parish Church United

This is the beautiful function hall at The First Parish Church United of Westford, MA. We were married in the church sanctuary and used the hall for the reception. It is a beautiful hall (comparable to a country club function room) with a professional kitchen attached. For a small extra custodian fee you can use the foyer for cocktail hour as well. They allow you to bring in any caterer of your choosing, and to serve beer and wine with a licensed bartender. Our wedding looked amazing with minimal decorations (just white tablecloths and tableware). The hall provides tables and chairs (we used the chairs they had, though if you want a fancier look you might want to rent). The hall easily accommodated 140 for seated dinner with a generous bar/band area and dance floor at one end, and you could probably seat up to 160 for dinner and still have a good dance floor. The fee includes 8 hours of time in the hall, so we had to add extra time in the hall and kitchen for an extra amount. The cost wound up being a bit higher than we expected when we started looking at church halls, but the quality of the space is more like a traditional wedding reception venue. We highly recommend First Parish and the Fellowship Hall for weddings!
