They helped us pull off a large destination wedding in less than five months, all while my husband and I were navigating major job changes. Not even sure where to start - Brynn did an incredible job planning our daughter's wedding. All the preparation was flawlessly executed. During the week leading up to the wedding, with potentially inclement weather in the forecast, Brynn developed several alternative scenarios. The wedding ceremony was planned outside at a ranch in a picturesque venue, with the party inside in a tent. As we're prepping for the ceremony and the Mother/Father walk down the aisle with our daughter, the skies were turned 'somewhat' unfriendly and stormy. Brynn stayed calm, developed several alternatives, and quickly moved 200+/- guests from the Ceremony venue to the Tent, with no even a broken nail. What a spectacular event, overall - HIGHLY recommend Brynn!

First Look Events was the single best decision we made for our wedding! From our very first call, Sarah put us at ease and walked beside us through every step of the journey. As an out-of-state couple with a Colorado destination wedding, we can’t express how reassuring it was to have someone local we could trust completely. Hiring Brynn was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding — and that’s coming from someone who originally thought a planner wasn’t necessary. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Even as a very type-A bride with a deeply involved mom, there are so many things that would have fallen through the cracks without her. From the very beginning, Brynn impressed us with her professionalism and organization. She communicates quickly, is incredibly thorough, and really project-managed the wedding for us from start to finish. She took the time to understand what was most important to us, listened to feedback, and worked patiently with my mom (who was very involved!) throughout the process. Since she’s from Steamboat Springs, she knows the area so well and connected us with several wonderful local vendors. But she also has deep connections in Denver — and we actually chose some of those vendors too. It was clear that if you’re planning a wedding anywhere in Colorado, Brynn will know the right people to bring your vision to life. She constantly thought three steps ahead — in the weeks leading up and on the day of, any question we asked, she had already anticipated and had a plan in place. As someone who cared deeply about certain details, I especially appreciated how Brynn balanced supporting my vision with sharing her honest perspective when something might be logistically challenging. Her honesty, experience, and problem-solving made all the difference. On top of all that, Brynn is warm, funny, and truly loving. She brought such a calm and positive energy to every conversation and every moment of the wedding weekend. I genuinely can’t imagine our day without her — she made it not only seamless, but joyful. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, take it from me: don’t hesitate. Brynn is amazing.

We worked with First Look Events for our big backyard wedding on 8/16! We worked closely with Alexandra to have our vision come to life. From keeping Grandma calm, to pulling off the party of the decade, Alexandra was our girl! We wanted an unconventional ceremony and reception, Alexandra helped us pull off a surprise entrance, had the best vendor recommendations, was super organized, professional, detail oriented, and fun. She always advocated for my needs, stayed true to our vision, and truly took any stress out of the process. Day of she was beyond prepared, we were able to be so present with our friends and family. Our wedding was a 220 person party in my 91 year old grandmas back yard, it was a huge undertaking and Alexandra executed it perfectly. The whole team Alexandra pulled together was incredible and it was truly the best day of our lives! I am so sad the planning is over and I think a huge part of that is not having a reason to text Alexandra with new ideas and questions. 10/10 would recommend First Look and Alexandra!!!

Brynn was incredible to work with from start to finish—she brought all of our visions to life while adding her own creative ideas (beautiful chandeliers, a floral/tree of life escort card table, etc.) that made everything even more special!
