First Look Events — and Alexandra in particular — were absolutely incredible. They helped us pull off a large destination wedding in less than five months, all while my husband and I were navigating major job changes. I honestly don’t even want to imagine what the day would have been like without Alexandra leading the way.
When a family illness came up during the wedding, Alexandra went above and beyond — adjusting plans, stepping in where needed, and caring for both me and my mother with such kindness and professionalism. Thanks to her, I was able to focus on my husband, our guests, and being fully present in the moment, knowing she had everything else handled. I’ll be forever grateful for her calm, capable presence and her truly thoughtful care. -

Not even sure where to start - Brynn did an incredible job planning our daughter's wedding. All the preparation was flawlessly executed. During the week leading up to the wedding, with potentially inclement weather in the forecast, Brynn developed several alternative scenarios. The wedding ceremony was planned outside at a ranch in a picturesque venue, with the party inside in a tent. As we're prepping for the ceremony and the Mother/Father walk down the aisle with our daughter, the skies were turned 'somewhat' unfriendly and stormy. Brynn stayed calm, developed several alternatives, and quickly moved 200+/- guests from the Ceremony venue to the Tent, with no even a broken nail. What a spectacular event, overall - HIGHLY recommend Brynn! -

THE dream wedding team !
First Look Events was the single best decision we made for our wedding! From our very first call, Sarah put us at ease and walked beside us through every step of the journey. As an out-of-state couple with a Colorado destination wedding, we can’t express how reassuring it was to have someone local we could trust completely. Sarah anticipated the things we didn’t know to ask, handled every detail with such care, and even welcomed our (last minute ! ) shipments into her own home to make things easier on us for items we couldn’t travel with. Those little acts of kindness showed us just how much she genuinely cares. When our wedding day came, Sarah delivered something beyond what we had imagined. Every detail, from the design to the timing to the vendor coordination, was executed so flawlessly that we never once had to worry. There wasn’t a single hiccup, and because of Sarah, we were able to be fully present, soaking in the joy of the day with our loved ones. We also were lucky enough to have the owner of First Look Events, Brynn Swanson, pitch in on the big day and I’ve never seen a better dream team in action - Sarah and Brynn are veterans in wedding/event planning and the type of team you want on your side! It’s also so clear how respected and well-established First Look Events is in the wedding vendor community; their strong relationships with vendors made everything seamless and stress-free. Sarah and her team are not only professionals at what they do, they’re warm, thoughtful, and deeply invested in creating the most beautiful experience for their couples. If you are planning a Colorado mountain wedding or a destination wedding, I’m telling you - you don’t need to look any further!! For context - I got married in Steamboat Springs with Brynn Swanson as our planner.
Hiring Brynn was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding — and that’s coming from someone who originally thought a planner wasn’t necessary. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Even as a very type-A bride with a deeply involved mom, there are so many things that would have fallen through the cracks without her. From the very beginning, Brynn impressed us with her professionalism and organization. She communicates quickly, is incredibly thorough, and really project-managed the wedding for us from start to finish. She took the time to understand what was most important to us, listened to feedback, and worked patiently with my mom (who was very involved!) throughout the process. Since she’s from Steamboat Springs, she knows the area so well and connected us with several wonderful local vendors. But she also has deep connections in Denver — and we actually chose some of those vendors too. It was clear that if you’re planning a wedding anywhere in Colorado, Brynn will know the right people to bring your vision to life. She constantly thought three steps ahead — in the weeks leading up and on the day of, any question we asked, she had already anticipated and had a plan in place. As someone who cared deeply about certain details, I especially appreciated how Brynn balanced supporting my vision with sharing her honest perspective when something might be logistically challenging. Her honesty, experience, and problem-solving made all the difference. On top of all that, Brynn is warm, funny, and truly loving. She brought such a calm and positive energy to every conversation and every moment of the wedding weekend. I genuinely can’t imagine our day without her — she made it not only seamless, but joyful. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, take it from me: don’t hesitate. Brynn is amazing. -

We worked with First Look Events for our big backyard wedding on 8/16! We worked closely with Alexandra to have our vision come to life. From keeping Grandma calm, to pulling off the party of the decade, Alexandra was our girl! We wanted an unconventional ceremony and reception, Alexandra helped us pull off a surprise entrance, had the best vendor recommendations, was super organized, professional, detail oriented, and fun. She always advocated for my needs, stayed true to our vision, and truly took any stress out of the process. Day of she was beyond prepared, we were able to be so present with our friends and family. Our wedding was a 220 person party in my 91 year old grandmas back yard, it was a huge undertaking and Alexandra executed it perfectly. The whole team Alexandra pulled together was incredible and it was truly the best day of our lives! I am so sad the planning is over and I think a huge part of that is not having a reason to text Alexandra with new ideas and questions. 10/10 would recommend First Look and Alexandra!!! -

We could not be more grateful for Brynn Swanson and First Look Events! Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of and then some. Brynn was incredible to work with from start to finish—she brought all of our visions to life while adding her own creative ideas (beautiful chandeliers, a floral/tree of life escort card table, etc.) that made everything even more special! Her vendor recommendations were spot on, and it’s clear she has built such wonderful relationships in the industry, which made the whole planning process seamless. What meant the most to us was being able to truly relax and enjoy our wedding day, knowing Brynn and her amazing team had every detail handled. Brynn and her team at First Look Events created our DREAM weekend! From the very beginning, Brynn was amazing, along with all the vendors she recommended to us. Working with Brynn has been an absolute dream! From the very moment we met her we knew we made the right choice because of her professionalism, experience, adaptability & creativity. Our wedding venue was pretty much just a tent so that meant we had to bring in a ton of vendors and really build our wedding from the ground up. Brynn was paramount in helping us develop a clear vision & sourcing the right linens, tableware etc. to bring the aesthetic to life. I'm someone who is very on top of things generally but I was definitely overwhelmed at various points throughout the process and Brynn was so incredible to have by our side! We always felt taken care of and that everything would happen exactly as it should. The wedding itself was pretty much perfect and if anything went wrong I wouldn't know because Brynn's team did amazing job managing our vendors and ensuring everything went according to plan. I highly recommend FLE for planning & design services - you won't be disappointed! -

Just Say Yes!
We chose First Look Events after talking with other party and wedding planning companies. First Look’s business and planning model is reasonable and makes sense compared to others so it was a no brainer. Brynn was super sweet and thorough in our initial talk.
Alexandra was assigned as our planner and there by our side every step of the way - from site visits to vendor selection through every final little last minute detail. We have insanely hectic schedules and she was patient and understanding but also great at cracking the whip to keep us on schedule! By the time the party was here, we had no worries or question marks and were able to just relax and have fun. The vendors they connected us with knocked it out of the park and created a truly fabulous party.
It turns out party planning is stressful! Could not be more grateful for First Look and most importantly Alexandra for helping us create such special memories with our friends and family. So glad she was there with us and now consider her a friend -

Where do I even begin with Brynn and the First Look Team. If you are looking for a stress free, creative, out of the box, stunning wedding, run don't walk and hire Brynn and the First Look Team ASAP. Brynn really got to know my husband and I and created the most meaningful and personal design for our wedding day. She worked with vendors and created a design that was out of this world- everything we were looking for. We feel incredibly lucky to have gotten to work with Brynn for our wedding. Not only did she save the day when we had our original venue back out of our contract (while she was on vacation no less!) she went above and beyond to make sure we had an ideal new plan in place before the week was even through. She cares about her clients and showcasing their individuality through her creative design, bringing everything together into one cohesive and unique vision without feeling rote or "like any other wedding" - it really felt like Us. Anytime we had a question, she had an answer, and assured us throughout the planning process that we didn't have to worry. She knew answers to things we would have never thought to ask as well. On the wedding day, she and her team made sure we felt absolutely taken care of. We even had one guest ask her "can you help manage my life?" when they saw how incredibly she handled everything for our wedding. Boulder Wedding
Alexandra Turner From First Look Events expertly managed our May 18, 2024 wedding in Boulder, CO. "Managed" doesn't begin to cover all that she did to make the event a triumph. She applied her knowledge and experience to all details – contracts, negotiations, budgets, coordination among vendors, resources, etc. She handled all interactions professionally and competently. (And with good cheer and enthusiasm.) Alexandra is a talented designer, who styled the look and vibe of the event beyond our expectations. She knew of resources and possibilities that created a smooth process with many amazing, creative professionals. Thanks to her, the planning process was enjoyable with minimal stress. We got to enjoy the creative decisions and fun details without the anxiety that is so commonly associated with planning a wedding.
Not only was the planning handled expertly, the wedding weekend was an amazing success thank you in large part to Alexandra and her team. Alexandra managed the entire day so that we arrived to a venue designed perfectly in line with the vision we had all created as a team during the planning. The day itself ran smoothly and on time. While we are sure plenty was going on behind the scenes, Alexandra and the First Look Team were positive and helpful at every turn. The result was a gorgeous atmosphere where we, our families, and all of our guests felt comfortable, happy, and able to enjoy a really great party.
She made it easier at every decision-making point in the process. We really could not have done it without her. -

I was so impressed with First Look Events. I first contacted Brynn right after I got engaged and she was wonderful over the phone. I talked to several other wedding planners and Brynn felt like the most professional, experienced, lovely to work with, and the best fit for me. Additionally, Brynn's prices were lower than some of the other vendors but her quality even over the first phone call was so much stronger. Brynn designed and helped with the early planning of my wedding. Brynn's designs were thoughtful, stunning, and perfectly me and my now husband. I really respect her creative genius as she really was able to design my dream wedding! I don't have a great design sense, so I was so impressed with how she was able to take my wants, desires, and life experiences and turn it into something beautiful. Brynn was very responsive to emails and an absolute joy to work with. Brynn helped us stay within budget and was always very honest about how we could cut costs or get a better deal. All of the vendors recommended by Brynn were fantastic to work with and I really appreciated Brynn's honesty for assistance with the selection process. Lindsay then helped with our month-of and day-of planning. Lindsay was so on-top of everything and ensured my day went wonderfully. She is incredibly detail-oriented and made sure that all of our ducks were in a row for our perfect day. Lindsay also was very responsive over email and wonderful to work with. I consider Brynn and Lindsay dear friends of mine now and I am so grateful for them. My mom also adores Brynn and Lindsay and speaks very highly of them. Our wedding went incredibly smoothly and I felt so secure leaving my full trust in Brynn and Lindsay's hands. I seriously would recommend First Look to anyone. Reasonably priced, highly professional, incredibly high quality work, and wonderful women. 10/10! -

You would be remiss to plan a wedding in Colorado and not use Brynn Swanson and her team at First Look Events. This team of genius creatives brought my husband and my winter wedding vibes to life in ways that we didn't even know was possible. First Look has incredible relationships with vendors all across Colorado and are able to tap into them to basically provide you with anything you can dream up. I feel confident that the phrase “we can’t do that” is something this incredible company of women has never said.
This is the wedding planner you want to have your back on the day of your wedding. Had you asked me the night of my wedding if anything went wrong, I would have told you no, but little did I know that there were multiple hiccups that happened with the venue day of (to no fault of Brynn’s) that these gals took care of so seamlessly, my guests and I would have never known. Brynn and her team have such a calming presence and do such a good job making sure that you have everything you need on your wedding day. Be it, keeping the flow of events moving to stick to schedule, pinning my wedding dress when I found out minutes before walking down the aisle that one of the tacks had come loose and I was at risk of flashing the entire audience, or making sure that every perfect surprise that we had planned for our guests ran smoothly and that my husband and I had a front row seat for them all with a glass of champagne in hand.
I have now seen Brynn and her team plan multiple of my friends' weddings and every one of them had very distinct and different feeling that perfectly captured the couple getting married. The only thing I would have done differently for my wedding is signed with First Look Events sooner and not wasted time interviewing other wedding planners.

First Look Events are Essential to Plan, Execute and Manage Your Wedding
I hired a wedding planner because everyone told me I should. I truly didn't appreciate how important it is to have that resource on your team. Brynn, owner of First Look Events came very highly recommended from a good friend. Once hired, Brynn immediately discussed with my daughter and me our vision, likes and dislikes and budget. We had a good idea what we wanted, however Brynn elevated every aspect and provided incredible resources to execute the ceremony and reception. The wedding was in a large hotel ballroom. Brynn and her team created a winter wonderland that was elegant, personal and gave a nod to my daughter and her (now!) husband. During the planning, any issue that came up, Brynn had a creative idea or a fix. The installation, management and execution of every detail the evening of the wedding was over the top. Brynn had a detailed schedule for all vendors (i.e., the hotel, florist, photographer and band). she was in close touch with all of us the day of to ensure everyone was on schedule. During the dinner and reception she managed all of the vendors and checked in with all of us throughout the night. When the reception was over, Brynn and her team packed up everything and delivered items to the bridal suite. When my daughter walked into the suite after the after party, the suite was cleaned up and her gown was hung. I have since learned there were sizable issues in getting all of the decor items up to the ballroom. However Brynn took care of everything, we found out the following day the problem solving/battle she was having with the hotel. She is a pro beyond words. I cannot recommend her highly enough. -

Alexandra and Brynn were absolute lifesavers! I came in without much of a vision for our wedding. I was clueless about design aspects in every direction. I told them to go for it on design choices, and they truly delivered! We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding and every single guest was truly in awe! The day of, I did not worry about a thing because they were there every step of the way! My mom continues to rave about Alexandra every time we speak. We were incredibly lucky to have her! The best decision besides the bride and groom saying “I do” was Hiring First Look Events.
There really are know words to express much we appreciate Brynn and First Look Events.. One always wonders “do I really need a wedding planner?” The answer is yes, yes you do. The attention to every little detail certainly would have been missed by anyone else. That being said, when Brynn and her team really went into action was when issues arose. Most times we weren’t even aware of “situations” as they quietly took care of everything behind the scenes. However if we did know of something it was impressive to watch Brynn take care of business. Her work and reputation commands respect from every vendor we dealt with. If we were working with First Look Events people went out of their way to make sure things were done right. Cannot recommend enough!

The Best Planner You Could Hire!
The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring First Look Events! I have known Brynn for a few years so I was excited that she was going to be planning my wedding. She was very involved in the entire process and made the whole experience very smooth and fun! She really cared about my husband and I as a couple and wanted to really personalize this process for us. She helped us select each vendor for our style and made sure she executed the vision that she and I created together. The week of the wedding we had an issue with a vendor saying they could not follow through with their contract. Brynn was able to make sure I remained calm and had no stress while behind the scenes she was working on coming up with a solution. Within a 24-hour period of hearing the other company bailed, she came up with a solution that ended up being even better than the original plan. We could not have been in better hands. Guests are still calling us saying how perfect our wedding was and how it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Brynn and First Look- thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my wedding day a dream come true. -

We worked with Lindsay at First Look Events. She is AMAZING! She works hard and makes sure that every detail is taken care of! I live in Georgia, and my daughter got married in Vail! It would not have happened without Lindsay! About 6 weeks out, Lindsay took the lead, and it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend her and First Look Events!

Brynn is an incredible wedding planner and made our dream wedding a reality that we will remember for a lifetime! We worked with Brynn for 9 months to plan our wedding at Bella Vista Estate in Steamboat Springs, CO. When we started the wedding planning process, I interviewed 5+ wedding planners and Brynn really stood out from the rest because of her vast experience planning weddings across CO, incredible design eye to make our wedding cohesive and memorable, and most importantly I genuinely enjoy spending time with Brynn.
Brynn helped us build the most incredible vendor team for our wedding - they all went above and beyond to make our day feel like "us". We originally planned to do an outdoor reception given the beautiful views at our venue. However, mother nature had other plans - the week before our wedding the weather forecast was looking grim (cold, rain, and thunder). The Wednesday before our wedding, we made the call to move our reception into a tent. Brynn was literally a life saver and made our Plan B even better than the original Plan A! She helped us change our rentals and worked with our flower vendor (Lori from Statice Florals) to make the tent absolutely gorgeous! I was so stressed about the weather that I completely trusted Brynn and Lori to make the magic happen in the tent. They delivered beyond our wildest dreams - adding gorgeous greenery/drapery to the ceiling and creating the chicest lounge set!
The day of our wedding Brynn and the team took care of every detail so that we could be completely present and soak in our wedding day. Against all odds, right before the ceremony the weather turned beautiful, and we had the most magical ceremony and cocktail hour outside followed by a gorgeous, tented reception. We could not be happier about how our wedding turned out and it is all thanks to Brynn and team! We will forever be grateful to Brynn for making our wedding such a dream and cannot recommend her enough for any of your special occasions. Thanks Brynn!!

We worked with Lindsay for our wedding in July 2022 at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO and she was incredible.
My husband and I are from CT, so we weren't anywhere near our venue. I knew I NEEDED to work with someone who was on top of their game to say the least.
I'm positive that I would have had a nervous breakdown at the wedding if I didn't have Lindsay. She's the only reason I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding, even with the things that went wrong with our catering/design company, because I knew she genuinely had our backs and would do anything or step in anywhere to make sure we had the best time possible.
After the wedding my husband and I talked to each other, our families, and Lindsay about how amazing she was at the wedding (and leading up to it as well).
To sum things up in one brief quote, we were recapping with my parents the next day, and my mom said "Lindsay was the best part of that wedding". (I'd like to think the fact that her only daughter got married was a top moment for her as well, but who knows haha)
All in all - she's a true gem, and insanely good at what she does. -

Look No Further!
First Look Events was irreplacable during our wedding weekend. If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further. Brynn helped in so many ways including reccomending venders, helping with selections, timeline, giving advice, setting up and so much more. We had a four day destination wedding event in Steamboat which involved a lot of logistics with venders. She was apart of both the welcome event with 120 guests and the wedding day. I did not have to lift a finger either day which allowed me to truly immerse myself in the wedding celebration. While planning we did have a few unforseen events which were significant, such as our transportation canceling on us less than a month out. Right when we were about to completely panic we reached out to Brynn at 11 pm and she had a solution by 9 am the next morning! Her transportation connection ended up being better than our original one! A wedding is a special celebration. Take time connecting with your vendors to ensure you are surrounded by people you can trust and rely on. Look no further- Brynn is the best wedding planner in Colorado (if not on planet Earth). Even writing this review I get emotional just thinking about all she did for us during our planning and wedding day. Brynn helped me transform my thoughts and feelings about how I envisioned my wedding into a tangible, real event. She was supportive, communicative, and my biggest advocate throughout the process. Her design eye is second to none- she is creative and thoughtful and helped direct me on ideas without ever feeling pushy. I always felt like she was really listening to me, and I appreciated that she was honest with me even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear (and she was always right). She really cared about us as people and making our wedding better than we could dream, and we felt that. We took her advice on almost every vendor recommendation and ended up with a team of vendors that exceeded all expectations. During our wedding day she was always there for us without being overbearing or in the way. It was like magic, every time I needed her she was there. Every time I needed a drink she was there. Every time I needed a snack she was there. She was thoughtful with our families and checking in with them as well. My fiance and I came to Brynn in spring 2021 with a general idea of wanting a mountain wedding in Colorado, with the feeling of being swept away to a beautiful, special place, echoing how we feel when we're with each other. We wanted an intimate, intentional celebration. The catch: we live in Miami, Florida and neither of us are familiar with Colorado (beyond a few ski vacations). To say Brynn and her team were up to the task is an understatement. From our first call, Brynn came from a place of listening and understanding, of making sure we felt heard and didn't feel lost in the process. Being from a very different part of the country, finding the right venue was the toughest part of the process for us - we had so many different considerations, including an entire wedding guest list coming from other parts of the country, while also staying true to wanting that "far away from the world" feeling. Brynn had an amazing amount of patience with us as we explored the options we had. We came close with a few places, but they just didn't give us that....feeling. That is, until Brynn showed us what became our venue. It's not a venue we would have found without her, and it was everything we could have asked for and so much more. What really amazed me was how it reflected what we were looking for, like it was created just for our event.
The thing I appreciated the most about Brynn was her creativity and vision for the day. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and a destination wedding at that, but I never felt overwhelmed with the actual planning, and it was 1000% because of her and her team's attention to detail, commitment to bringing our intentions to life, and their true partnerships with the best vendors in the industry (in my completely biased opinion). She connected us to all of our vendors and they were all perfect matches to the type of humans we are - relaxed and joyful. As much as we wanted our wedding to be intentional and full of the essence of what makes our relationship special, Brynn brought that to life by building the best team we could have asked for. She held our hands through the entire process and was always very easy to communicate with and get a hold of, no matter what was on our minds, and by the time we were making decisions on design and color palettes, I felt confident in her ability to design it. She's beyond trustworthy, and truly respects that trust. As much as I let her run with her vision, she always came back to the intentions we had and the true essence of who we are as people. We told her our colors were a sunset palette - and she turned it all into a colorful ombre dream that I could have never envisioned myself. We expressed how we're very much a "team" and enjoy spending time with each other away from the world - and she made our "alone time" throughout the day of the wedding a priority for us. Her professionalism and empathy gave us what we truly wanted: the opportunity to take it all in, appreciate the day with each other, and celebrate without a worry!
I only have one criticism, and it's that my wedding came too quickly and I want to plan another one with her. She made the experience that wonderful for us, and I'm forever grateful to her, for her sense of humor, her impeccable taste, her constant professionalism, and her unmatched creativity.

I literally couldn't have done this without Brynn! I am not a very decisive person, and she made it very easy for me by giving me a few options for each vendor rather than the 100s that are out there. Every detail at the wedding was perfect and absolutely stunning. She took my initial ideas and really made them come to life, in a truly amazing way.
We had a record breaking heat wave at our wedding, and she worked hard to secure some air conditioners for our tent, which definitely saved the day. This was the 5th wedding I have attended that she has been the planner for, so I never had a second thought in hiring her for my wedding. I have been in awe at every single wedding and how well they have represented each couple individually. She is extremely communicative and was available for any questions or crises that I had (which thanks to her there weren't many!)

Brynn and First Look Events were absolute saviors as guides and educators for our wedding. Because of Brynn’s knowledge and hustle, we had a beautiful, fun, memorable wedding that fit our budget and needs. My mom had broken her ankle during a hike on the morning of the wedding, but once she was taken care of, Brynn had communicated with her and my aunt, and had arranged for a surprise entrance to the wedding! From the first phone call I had with Brynn she helped me feel less stressed about planning a destination wedding during COVID-times. She just talking her gave me a sense of calm, like things would all be handled to perfection, without any stress on my end. And that proved to be true throughout every single interaction I had with Brynn.
I also worked with Alex for more of the detailed planning, and she crushed it. Any question I had, any recommendations I needed (and I needed a lot), she was there with a quick reply, going above and beyond to ensure I had what was needed to feel good heading into the wedding weekend. This was particularly helpful given COVID protocols were constantly changing, and it was great to have somebody like her in my corner to navigate the challenges with.
On day of, we had some tricky weather to navigate, as it was storming until 15 minutes before our outdoor ceremony. But never did I feel stressed, because I knew Alex had it all under control. She was a steady, positive and calming presence, reminding me to breathe. I didn't worry about a single thing on my wedding day, because I just knew I could trust her to make it perfect.

Wonderful from start to finish!
From our very first group call, I felt like Brynn was very intuitive, decisive and knowledgeable. As a mom, trying to plan her only daughter's wedding from Texas, I knew that I needed help. But I was very cautious, at first, not knowing who I was talking to on the other end of the phone. I loved how Brynn interviewed the bride and groom to see what they wanted out of their wedding day, meanwhile, offering guidance and choices throughout the conversation. Let me be honest in saying that I just wanted to keep my daughters wedding in budget at the beginning, and I was afraid that things would get out of control with someone from the wedding business making suggestions for vendors and such. But that is not what Brynn represented at all. In fact, I think that she actually helped us save money by suggesting vendors within our price range that provided quality products and services. I can not even imagine finding, for example, a photographer by myself. The price ranges and types of photographers in Denver alone are mind boggling. And in my experience, though the internet does give you whatever you search for quickly, it is not always reliable in terms of what kind of product you will receive in the end.
Brynn has the unique ability to listen, capture the feel/vision and then take that a step further, in a good direction, when making it a reality. For example, we knew that we did not want a typical wedding invitation. I, as a mom, had done my internet research and found a beautiful invitation that was very unique, however, I did not have the budget for those invitations. Brynn suggested an artist that she thought would be perfect. I kept wondering, "How does she know what we want, we can't even put it into words yet? However, we know what we don't want". Brynn set up a phone call with everyone present. Again, they listened to what the bride and I said, but we had no idea what to tell them in terms of an actual invitation. We just knew the feel that we wanted. Well, the artist and Brynn took our ideas and just brainstormed for about 30 minutes. In the end, what they described sounded wonderful, but again I was very leery that I had just increased my total budget by 20%. However, the sample came to us and it was perfect! Just what we wanted in the colors and everything. AND may I add, it was in budget.
Finally, the day of the wedding came. During this COVID time, we had already jumped about a hundred hurdles and we all quietly waited for the sky to fall. However, nothing major came up and the few little things that did, we simply called Brynn to ask her what to do. She was present within minutes with a voice of reason and a solution.
I have said it several times to her, but let me make it public, she is worth her weight in GOLD. I would like to change that to she is worth MORE THAN HER WEIGHT IN GOLD! -

FANTASTIC. HEROES. LIFESAVERS! Where do I even begin!? Alex was a great communicator, she was direct, but still sensitive, helpful, and had a TON of good recommendations.
Our initial wedding planner gave us a ton of shame and over-stated opinions when we decided to proceed with a 2020 wedding, and ultimately she was not comfortable with any of our plans. This obviously threw a huge last minute wrench (and heartache) into an already SUPER heart-achey situation. Enter Alex and Brynn with First Look Events!! They were grateful to take on 2020 clients in a chaotic year. They were SOLUTION oriented and supportive of all of our decisions! They pivoted quickly and seamlessly with every challenge and decision we made.
Because of COVID, things changed up until an hour before the wedding and a ton of details had to be done last minute- and they were beautiful!!! Having Alex there on the wedding day was the greatest! I can’t imagine not having her there.
And they were SO WELL priced!!! Very fair and affordable, and for everything that they did - UNBELIEVABLE. I wholeheartedly recommend Brynn, Alex, and First Look Events!! -

We got married in Vail, Colorado and Brynn was instrumental in recommending venues, photographers, and DJs. We had the best team on the day-of and I wouldn't have done anything differently. Brynn put together the exact wedding I asked for. The only surprise was me and my husband getting the flu, but unfortunately, that's the one thing the wedding planner can't fix. Brynn is incredibly organized, has tons of ideas, recommendations, and advice to fit any shape or size wedding! She is also super friendly and worked great with coordinating on the day of with my family & friends. Highly recommend her and her team to anyone getting married!
