I was blown away by the calligraphy on our invitations. Lynn's work was flawless- when I first saw them, I thought they must have been done by a computer because they were so perfect. I've received countless comments from our guests about how elegant and sophisticated the invitations looked- My mother-in-law is even going to frame hers!! We sent out just over 130 invitations and Lynn had them all done in a matter of days- outer AND inner envelopes! In fact, we liked her work so much that at the last minute we decided to add calligraphy to our place cards. Lynn was extremely professional, accommodating, and personable. I would recommend her services to any bride-to-be.

If you want to differentiate your wedding or special event from others, Calligraphy on the invitations is surefire way to make it stand out. If you want your invitations to look elegant and professional without paying an Arm and a Leg use Lynn McKinney! We were so lucky to find Lynn, she was SUPER responsive and very flexible. We had an event with 135 separate invitations. Lynn said that it would take her about a week to complete them and she finished ahead of schedule. She did the standard three line exterior envelope for us and the inside envelopes as well. We received so many compliments on the invitations from Family and friends. She did such beautiful work that we went back to her for the place cards too. She had those turned around in two days for 180+ people and did it for a steal! When we had last minute changes to the guest list she was available to knock out a couple of place cards quickly. We could not have found a better value anywhere.

My bride and I had NO experience working with Calligraphy and Lynn took the time to give us some tips on how to pick a Calligrapher and what to look out for. In the internet age just about anyone can go into business for themselves. Some of the other Calligraphers were charging ROCK bottom prices but upon further investigation we found out that they either were doing just pretty writing (lots of swirlies but not a true Calligraphy “Hand” as they say) OR PRINTING the envelopes on a computer. My advice to anyone reading this review is to drop Lynn an email, at least you’ll get some valuable information and if you decide to go with her, you will get a beautiful product. We highly recommend Lynn McKinney Caligraphy.

I used Lynn McKinney Calligraphy for my wedding invitations. They were gorgeous! She was very professonal and the turnaround was great (considering she hand wrote 150 invitations!) I had some last minute additions that she added with no problem. I highly recommend Lynn McKinney Calligraphy if you're interested in adding a touch of 'class' to your wedding.
