These women were my mom's 4H sewing leader years ago, and have been my entire family's go-to for any sort of alteration/creation. They made my junior bridesmaid dress, have altered all of my prom and bridesmaid dresses, and are currently working on my wedding dress. I trust them completely and they are very reasonably priced.

Fig Leaves is the best! They have altered two mother of the bride dresses for me over the years and have done a beautiful job. I don't know what I would of done without them.

I was dead set on finding quality alterations for my wedding dress at a reasonable price. I simply was not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for the little work I needed done when my dress cost less than $1,000. I contacted Carol at Fig Leaves at the recommendation of a coworker. Carol and her sister, Virgina, do alterations out of their home in rural Kansasville. They don't have a website or e-mail address, my preferred methods of contact, however they responded to my phone call and set up an appointment right away. They clearly know what they're doing, how a dress should fit, and the best methods to alter the fabric. I'm so thrilled with the results of their work and I'm even more thrilled about the price! For $150 they took in the cap sleeves, keyhole back and bust in a bit, attached a sash, added a bustle, and reinforced the hook at the top of the zipper.
