April first began apprenticing with a highly-esteemed wedding photographer in Santa Cruz, California and quickly became their sole associate photographer, working dozens of weddings in a single season. Through this she began to discover her unique style as a lead wedding photographer. April broke out and formed her own freelance wedding photography business in 2019, capturing several weddings from the Bay Area all the way to the PNW where she now resides.
April loves facilitating a fun, relaxed environment and prefers candid moments over staged. Her previous experience in fashion editorial photography has also lent her the ability to artfully pose and “get the angle”. She has a deep understanding of using both available light as well as artificial.
Megan began her studies in photojournalism, documentary photography and film-making at the Art Institute of Portland. She continued to develop her skills for seven years, traveling to all corners of the globe. Upon returning to the states she shifted her focus onto wedding photography and strives to incorporate her passion for life into every frame. She has a knack for being present in the moment and capturing details that often go unnoticed. Her adventurous spirit lends her the ability to scout epic locations around the PNW that provide an ideological backdrop for all nature-loving newlyweds.
