This place is AMAZING! I thought my dress fit up until maybe 6 weeks before my wedding, Thank God I tried it on.. I had already used Fashion Stitch for my bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding and they were super affordable and got it they done pretty quick. So I called and they got me in, we figured out what I needed done.. and it was done in plenty of time! So affordable such nice people to work with!

I am SO glad that I chose Fashion Stitch to alter my wedding gown. I was nervous about leaving my gown anywhere for alterations, but my mind was put at ease when I walked into the shop and saw tons of other gowns of all shapes and sizes. Yeon is a true master at her craft. My dress was silk with beads, and I had a tulle skirt overlay. Yeon made sure I was comfortable in my dress and made suggestions for ways to enhance how it fit my body. Throughout the whole process, she was patient and precise. Plus, her pricing was VERY reasonable! On my wedding day, my dress fit perfectly and I felt beautiful. I am recommending Fashion Stitch to all of my friends and will be returning to have other dresses altered in the future!

My wedding dress is a 2 piece dress: a satin slip with a completely lace overlay. The back has an open keyhole back with buttons that go down and because I am short the buttons went too far down my butt and bunched up a bit, looking weird. With the dress being lace I was scared that I would not be able to get it hemmed and altered as I needed. After reading all of the great reviews I decided to give this hop a try and I am so glad that I did! Once I had my dress on, the seamstress came in and I was amazed and how she was able to pin it up right away! There were a few areas that I pointed out and said “I’m not sure if this can be fixed, but…”. Her response was always of course, that is no problem at all, that’s easy! She in fact made it look easy and when I tried my dress on a month later it fit me like a glove! It was so beautiful and was exactly what I had imagined! I picked my dress up the day before I left for my wedding and it was prepared, hanging in plastic just waiting for the big day!

Yan was wonderful to work with! She was so patient at each fitting and perfected my wedding dress to fit like it was designed and made for me from the get-go. Even the bustle was gorgeous! Very reasonably priced and beautiful quality and workmanship!

I've never had a better experience in my life. You wouldn't expect the quality of work based on how tiny of a space the owner works with but DO NOT judge a book by it's cover! I used her for my Junior and Senior proms years ago. I was nervous about her handling my wedding gown, but I walked in and saw TONS of wedding gowns hanging around. She completely turned my dress into a whole new look and exactly what I wanted. There was a zipper in the back and she made it a corset - in TWO days! The front was straight across and she made it into a sweetheart neckline. I am only 5'1 so she had a lot of hemming to do and to make it even more difficult - there was a lace/beading 1inch section at the bottom of the dress so she had to take that off hem in and put that section back on and it looked like it was made that way when she was done! She also pressed the dress and my veil for me. She was amazing, knowledgable, and friendly. I will go to her for all my alteration needs.

I loved everything she did to my dress. It was perfect. The dress was too big, she fixed it. I wanted a bunch of stuff added, she did it. I needed it by a certain day, she gave it to me. Perfect!

I called and booked an appointment to have my wedding dress altered. I moved to Colorado and since all my family is in NJ, the wedding will be held there. I explained my situation to the seamstress on the phone, that I was willing to travel and she scheduled me in smoothly. However, as I stayed on the line to schedule my appointment in my phone I could CLEARLY overhear her GOSSIPPING to one of her customers about me. She rudely said, "OH my GOD... she's out of state and trying to get it done here??? Why doesn't she just do it over there??? She's in Colorado and her wedding is here." I called back and cancelled my appointment and told her that I could overhear their conversation about me and that it was extremely unprofessional. She blamed it on her wearing a mask, saying that I didn't hear her. I told her I am not completely asinine and I could hear clearly.

I don't care how good her services are, if she is unprofessional, rude, and treats customers like crap then I will go ANYWHERE else. I am not a dramatic person by any means... this is just unacceptable. Who knows what this lady is saying about you behind your back when you're giving her your money? Absolutely unacceptable.
