Farrand, the home boasts luxurious comforts combined with Midwest prairie charm. A striking mansion of white amidst grand old oak and maple trees is a captivating sight to all who enter. Although large, the house is warm and inviting and couples are sure to feel at ease from the moment they enter the estate.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can enjoy exclusive use of Farrand Hall for their big day with a maximum guest capacity of 100 of their nearest and dearest. Introduction to the house begins the morning of the special day in the bedrooms upstairs. Characterized by chandeliers and four-poster beds, this portion of the house is ideal for getting ready. Moving downstairs for ceremonies, couples can make their vows in a 200-foot clearing surrounded by luscious greenery and mature trees. Afterward, cocktail hour is held on the adjacent patio with delightful antique garden furniture and rustic string lightbulbs hanging from the trees. Guests are welcome to play lawn games such as cornhole and croquet, while drinking from vintage glassware, creating a relaxed atmosphere overall. There is a variety of venue options for the reception such as the garden, a marquee, or in a stone and gravel event space. After the meal, couples can flow between the dance floor and a bonfire. Every corner of the house is sure to delight couples as they celebrate their wedding day to the fullest.
