I don't believe that she is still in business-at least I hope not. The half of a star rating is being generous. If for some reason you come across Fairy Tales by Kelly, or Kelly B. as a coordinator for some other business my advice to you is run fast in the opposite direction and don't look back! I made the mistake of hiring her as my "coordinator" for my wedding last March. It has taken me so long to review her because truth is I couldn't even stomach the idea of typing her name into Google. When I hired her I knew I was getting a somewhat inexperienced planner, and I was okay with that. Even though I paid for services above and beyond, I really only needed her and her "crew" for set-up and tear down of my event. Thank goodness I am meticulous in all of my planning because........A few weeks before the wedding I started to get a weird gut-feeling about Kelly. She stopped returning calls and emails timely if at all. Finally, 3 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING she calls me and says "I'm sorry, I really have dropped the ball on your wedding". She did not bother showing up to my rehearsal- which I don't know if it would have mattered one way or the other anyways. . She NEVER did anything regarding timelines for my bridal party and vendors as promise. Luckily, I was able to make these myself. I was in full-on panic mode. All of our family live out-of-state so I had VERY limited resources as to who could dig me out of the situation Kelly put me in. THANK GOODNESS, my maid of honor & her mom did everything. Our parents & our bridal party stayed up all night before getting everything ready! They arrived before the sun, unloaded my 20 ft trailer that was packed with all of our décor. MY FAMI
