FHJ Events’ barn is set upon majestic pastureland whose vibrant plains stretch beyond the horizon. It is a place of serene calm, breathtaking beauty, and important local history. The farm has been the Firestone family home since its founding in 1831, and over 8 generations of farmers have worked its fields. Owners Ted and Anita continue this tradition while inviting guests to come and share in its history by celebrating their big day in its pastoral confines. Guests can gather on the shores of one of two tranquil ponds for a picturesque outdoor ceremony on a manicured lawn. The barn itself is a spacious setting for a celebration of up to 200 loved ones. An iconic slice of rural Americana, it is a classic Gothic structure that features as a grand arched roof and white-washed corrugated walls. Inside a large central area reaches lofty heights for an airy and roomy setting in which to host a reception. This is contrasted by the warm and cozy tone established by its timeless, wooden finish and worn floors. The barn is a true country setting from top to bottom and is an ideal backdrop for a wedding photoshoot with character. As night falls, guests can dance under the warm glow of string lighting or gather around the fire ring to mingle and converse. There is ample parking for guests arriving by car.
