First, Esther is just awesome to be around! She will make you feel comfortable being yourself in front of the camera, even if you’re a bit camera shy! It takes a special kind of person to wrangle the groomsmen for formal pictures, but she can do it!

Second, Esther is professional and talented! She is very accommodating, communicative, and helpful. She made great suggestions while also allowing room for our input. We sent our shot list to her late (I’m not suggesting this, I’m just saying she’ll roll with it), changed the shot list (after sending it late), and ran behind schedule on our wedding day. While I was freaking out, Esther remained calm, cool and collected, making brilliant suggestions on the fly, and keeping energy high.

We cannot thank Esther enough. Book with her or you’ll regret it!

We hired Esther for our elopement in Sisters, OR. What drew us to her was the fact that she loved to make people who *hate* having pictures taken comfortable! We aren't fans of the "canned" photos, the typical ones where you stand like a statue. Esther took so many wonderful candid (and non-canned) photos of us, and we loved each and every one of them. She really made us feel at ease, laughing the entire time. Lots of photographers aren't great at directing, but Esther is confident and knows what she is doing, in addition to having quality photos. She was on time (early, in fact) and responded quickly every single time we spoke. She promised photos to us in a certain timeline, and delivered on that.

It's too bad she only does wedding/engagement photos because we would 100% hire her again! :)

It's no small task to take family photos with small children (2 and 3 years old). I was worried about them holding still and smiling for the camera, but Esther had us running, playing, and snuggling the whole time. She captured us in such a natural way, and the kids had a blast. I love the variety of pictures we ended up with. Excellent work!
