She has an incredible ability to document genuine moments while also guiding us effortlessly when needed. Our family and friends have already commented on how wonderful she was to work with during the wedding!

We also really appreciated Erin’s communication and organization. She walked us through each step, made sure we knew exactly what to expect, and kept us updated on timelines for previews and our full gallery. Long review coming, but I can't help myself. Erin was the best decision of my wedding! I cared about three things for my wedding, and photography was one of them. Finding a photographer was a daunting task since at the end of the day I knew I would leave with two things: my husband and my pictures. From the very beginning, Erin was a delight to work with. Photography, one of my top priorities, became my lowest stressor leading up to my wedding and the day of.

Erin is a phenomenal communicator. She is clear, timely, and respectful. She asked about our photography desires, encouraged questions, and confirmed information to ensure that we achieved what we wanted. Erin always responded quickly which was so helpful when trying to coordinate everything needed for a wedding. The day of the wedding she and her second photographer, Monica (an absolute gem!!), were excellent communicators with all of the adults and children present when relaying what they wanted and needed us to do for photos. They helped with poses and gave amazing feedback (both positive and adjustments needed) throughout the day to help us feel comfortable and get good shots (neither my husband nor myself are natural at posing, but our photos turned out amazing)!

Erin is calm, organized, and KIND (exactly what a couple needs during the planning process and on the wedding day)! Everything was clearly outlined prior to signing a contract. Once signing, you have a login to see all of your information in one place (contract, payments, questionnaire, etc.) which makes it so easy to keep track of everything related to our photography. As a Type A person, I so appreciated how clear and organized all of the information was. She has a second photographer included on the wedding day who helps keep track of the previously-determined photos (confirmed during a phone call) and ensures that everyone is in place so photos don't take a million hours. We were able to complete all pre- and post-ceremony pictures (we had a lot) in about an hour total for both. She was so sweet and made both of us feel unbelievably comfortable. She's someone you'll genuinely want to stay friends with after the wedding!

Both Erin and Monica were so thorough and detailed. Not only did they review everything I didn't know I needed to think about prior to the wedding, but the day of the wedding they handled everything with such attention to detail that it completely removed all pressure from us and our families. Erin and Monica knew the photos we wanted and made sure to get all of them throughout the day. They constantly helped adjust my gown, veil, hair, and poses to ensure that not only the framing and lighting was perfect (which it was), but that there were no little details out of place that would drive OCD me crazy haha. They also brought tremendous equipment that allowed them to shoot multiple ways in multiple lighting scenarios. We were married in an old church, had a reception in a wood-paneled moody, dark room, and finished with photos at the Jefferson Memorial. Every single venue had perfectly lit photos. They both jumped around, walked up and down, switched out cameras, and straight up WORKED (at impeccable speed) to get us so many amazing angles and photos.

On top of everything. Erin helped us create beautiful photo albums for us and our parents. To say Erin is worth the investment is the understatement of the century. We are forever grateful to her for capturing our important day!

We worked with Erin for both our engagement session and wedding day and we cannot recommend her enough! She was organized and got us every photo we requested and even wrangled my giant family to get a group shot for us! We are OBSESSED with our photos came out and we are excited to get them printed! We highly recommend working with Erin, you won’t regret it!!

We worked with Erin as our wedding photographer and absolutely loved her. The whole time taking shots with her felt natural and comfortable, which is not something I’ve often felt when dealing with wedding photographers in the past. Erins shots were so good and really captured our whole day. Both her and the second shooter she hired were so much fun for me and my wife to work with. Erin was incredibly professional and worked wonderfully with our planner and vendor team. The two of them on our pre wedding call talking through the ceremony was an impressive site to behold.

On a more personal note, during the process our dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer. My then fiancee reached out to Erin to get a photo shoot before she turned and Erin did an absolutely wonderful shot with us at no extra charge. Much like our wedding photos the shots really captures our dog’s personality and attitude and we have them handing in our living room today. She’s really good people.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Erin! She and her second photographer were so professional, taking charge when necessary to corral large groups of people for photos and blending into the background to capture the most stunning moments of our wedding! One thing I cannot stress enough to other brides considering a photographer, is that timing is *so* important, and Erin was 100% on top of timing and making sure photos moved on time. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable, especially as people who aren't big on PDA, during our photos, and they came out beautifully! I would 1,000% recommend her to any other DC-area brides out there - she was truly amazing to work with and has such a classic style.

We worked with Erin for our engagement shoot and wedding day and were just BLOWN AWAY by her photos, professionalism, and just being such a wonderful human to be around. Something we felt strongly about was of course having wonderful photos, but also finding a photographer that we would enjoy spending time with (as you do spend a decent amount of time with them on your wedding day). And working with Erin hit both of those out of the park. Her photos speak for themselves and are GORGEOUS, but she is also just such a joy to work with. She made sure we stayed on track all day and was always such a calming presence to be around. We cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

Erin was so wonderful to work with from start to finish! She listened to all of the things we wanted photographed and she made wonderful suggestions along the way. Her and her 2nd photographer, Emily, were so upbeat and friendly throughout our entire wedding day. The pictures were also gorgeous and we received them in such a timely manner. I'm currently working with Erin on our wedding album design and she has been super helpful and responsive every step of the way. I would highly recommend her!

Erin is simply fantastic. If you are reading this and are reading reviews because you aren’t sure of budget or her expertise or her style or the quality of her work or her personality - prepare to be enlightened. She is everything I ever wanted for my wedding day and my wedding memories. She is kind, patient, thorough, detailed, devoted, and knows exactly what she is doing. When we first decided to go with Erin, we also read reviews and looked at her various galleries. We had a call with her and it was everything we needed to know that we made the right choice. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and even during our call we felt like it was the obvious choice to work with her. We had a semi Orthodox Jewish wedding and there wasn’t one detail that was left out. She worked with us on the schedule, took the time to understand our preferences and priorities, and made us feel like we could completely trust her. The wedding goes by so quickly and when it’s all said and done you want to look back at your photos and remember the day exactly as it was. Her photos, her timeless style, and her energy do just that. We got married about a month and a half ago and received our photos from Erin - I can honestly say there isn’t ONE photo that we didn’t love. This woman is beyond talented!! On the day of our wedding, I was worried about the schedule - Erin didn’t express any worry. She knew how to keep things moving and how to make sure we utilized every minute possible. We looked at other photographers - ultimately it came down to the feeling we had with Erin. There are many photographers on Wedding Wire or that friends or relatives recommended that of course are experts in their field. Erin is one level above this. Our wedding memories from the photos are something we will always look back at fondly. I was emotional going through the photos Erin captured because in the moment you don’t realize someone is able to enter your heart and feel the same as you feel in their photos. This might be cheesy but we are still on that wedding high and I have to say - weddings are once in a lifetime (hopefully) and you want to know for post wedding and the rest of your life that you chose someone that could capture a million emotions you are feeling the day of with photos. We love Erin and we know you will too!

We haven't even received any of our photos yet, as it is right after our wedding, but I can't wait to write this review. I have no doubt that the photos will be fabulous.

Erin and her assistant Emily were absolutely fantastic and true professionals. Erin made sure to talk to us before the wedding so that we could ensure that we got all of the shots we wanted from our day, and they made sure that they got them.

My husband and I are not what I'd call comfortable in front of the camera. We were nervous to take photos and we kept asking ourselves, "how are we going to take couples photos for a full hour?!" Well, the time flew by. Erin and Emily had us laughing the whole time and made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Honestly, I forgot that they were even there half the time!

When it came time to take friend and family photos, Erin and Emily managed to keep us on track with timing while also helping us to have a blast while doing so. We had to shift our photo schedule around a little due to some people being missing, and they didn't even bat an eye.

I can't recommend Erin enough as a photographer. We picked her because we could tell that she takes excellent photos from her portfolio, but her personality really confirmed that she was the right choice. We're so excited to get our photos and we know that they will be perfect.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our photographer was one of my priority areas. I must have spent a thousand hours going through portfolios. I was looking for a lot of specifics: I wanted to see really nice posed photos AND really great candids. I wanted for the posed photos to have a variety of poses and for the couple to look relaxed and comfortable. I wanted a photographer who would stay for the whole wedding and not leave when the cake was cut. I wanted classic photos that were framable, not artsy shots. I wanted real colors that would be true to the day (as opposed to the current light and airy trend). I wanted to get along easily with our photographer since she would be around us the whole day. And I didn't want to overpay. Erin was that unicorn who met each criterion and then some.

We asked to do our engagement session at the Tidal Basin during the Cherry Blossoms, and Erin was extremely knowledgable about the permit process, timing, and where to get the best shots. She was great at directing us to get the best pose, but not so directing that we weren't natural. We felt at ease around her, and it showed in the photos. She was great about noticing if I had a hair out of place, too!

Because we opted to not get a videographer, we wanted the set of photos to tell the whole story of the day. And they do. They are so wonderful, and we are so happy with them. We have the one for the big frame narrowed down to about 25--there are so many great shots it's difficult to choose! It was pouring rain the day we got married, but she easily adapted our initial outdoor photo plan to indoor/covered areas. She wasn't in any of the shots of the ceremony that our guests took, yet she managed to get perfect action shots of us and our bridal party. In fact, I don't really remember seeing her once the reception started until we did the sparkler exit-- but she was there capturing so many wonderful moments that I would have otherwise missed.

And she was able to give us a preview of about 100 photos TWO DAYS after our wedding! It was such a wonderful honeymoon surprise! The entire set took a little longer-- I think a month? But it was within the timeframe she had promised to us. It's very easy to order prints or albums through her portal.

She is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and obviously a very talented photographer. I would (and have!) recommend her to everyone, and would hire her again in a heartbeat!
