  Truly Delightful

  We worked with Erin as our wedding photographer and absolutely loved her. The whole time taking shots with her felt natural and comfortable, which is not something I’ve often felt when dealing with wedding photographers in the past. Erins shots were so good and really captured our whole day. Both her and the second shooter she hired were so much fun for me and my wife to work with. Erin was incredibly professional and worked wonderfully with our planner and vendor team. The two of them on our pre wedding call talking through the ceremony was an impressive site to behold.
  
  On a more personal note, during the process our dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer. My then fiancee reached out to Erin to get a photo shoot before she turned and Erin did an absolutely wonderful shot with us at no extra charge. Much like our wedding photos the shots really captures our dog’s personality and attitude and we have them handing in our living room today. She’s really good people.

  Amazing Photographer

  We worked with Erin for both our engagement session and wedding day and we cannot recommend her enough! She was organized and got us every photo we requested and even wrangled my giant family to get a group shot for us! We are OBSESSED with our photos came out and we are excited to get them printed! We highly recommend working with Erin, you won’t regret it!!

  Phenomenal!

  I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Erin! She and her second photographer were so professional, taking charge when necessary to corral large groups of people for photos and blending into the background to capture the most stunning moments of our wedding! One thing I cannot stress enough to other brides considering a photographer, is that timing is *so* important, and Erin was 100% on top of timing and making sure photos moved on time. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable, especially as people who aren't big on PDA, during our photos, and they came out beautifully! I would 1,000% recommend her to any other DC-area brides out there - she was truly amazing to work with and has such a classic style.

  Erin is THE BEST!!!

Something we felt strongly about was of course having wonderful photos, but also finding a photographer that we would enjoy spending time with (as you do spend a decent amount of time with them on your wedding day).   Wonderful Experience

  Erin was so wonderful to work with from start to finish! She listened to all of the things we wanted photographed and she made wonderful suggestions along the way. Her and her 2nd photographer, Emily, were so upbeat and friendly throughout our entire wedding day. The pictures were also gorgeous and we received them in such a timely manner. I'm currently working with Erin on our wedding album design and she has been super helpful and responsive every step of the way. I would highly recommend her!

  You Must Book Erin!

  We haven't even received any of our photos yet, as it is right after our wedding, but I can't wait to write this review. I have no doubt that the photos will be fabulous.
  
  Erin and her assistant Emily were absolutely fantastic and true professionals. Erin made sure to talk to us before the wedding so that we could ensure that we got all of the shots we wanted from our day, and they made sure that they got them.
  
  My husband and I are not what I'd call comfortable in front of the camera. We were nervous to take photos and we kept asking ourselves, "how are we going to take couples photos for a full hour?!" Well, the time flew by. Erin and Emily had us laughing the whole time and made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Honestly, I forgot that they were even there half the time!
  
  When it came time to take friend and family photos, Erin and Emily managed to keep us on track with timing while also helping us to have a blast while doing so. We had to shift our photo schedule around a little due to some people being missing, and they didn't even bat an eye.
  
  I can't recommend Erin enough as a photographer. We picked her because we could tell that she takes excellent photos from her portfolio, but her personality really confirmed that she was the right choice. We're so excited to get our photos and we know that they will be perfect.

  A picture is worth a million words. A photographer review of Erin is worth a million and one.

  Erin is simply fantastic. If you are reading this and are reading reviews because you aren’t sure of budget or her expertise or her style or the quality of her work or her personality - prepare to be enlightened. She is everything I ever wanted for my wedding day and my wedding memories. She is kind, patient, thorough, detailed, devoted, and knows exactly what she is doing. When we first decided to go with Erin, we also read reviews and looked at her various galleries. We had a call with her and it was everything we needed to know that we made the right choice. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and even during our call we felt like it was the obvious choice to work with her. We had a semi Orthodox Jewish wedding and there wasn’t one detail that was left out. She worked with us on the schedule, took the time to understand our preferences and priorities, and made us feel like we could completely trust her. The wedding goes by so quickly and when it’s all said and done you want to look back at your photos and remember the day exactly as it was. Her photos, her timeless style, and her energy do just that. We got married about a month and a half ago and received our photos from Erin - I can honestly say there isn’t ONE photo that we didn’t love. This woman is beyond talented!! On the day of our wedding, I was worried about the schedule - Erin didn’t express any worry. She knew how to keep things moving and how to make sure we utilized every minute possible. We looked at other photographers - ultimately it came down to the feeling we had with Erin. There are many photographers on Wedding Wire or that friends or relatives recommended that of course are experts in their field. Erin is one level above this. Our wedding memories from the photos are something we will always look back at fondly. I was emotional going through the photos Erin captured because in the moment you don’t realize someone is able to enter your heart and feel the same as you feel in their photos. This might be cheesy but we are still on that wedding high and I have to say - weddings are once in a lifetime (hopefully) and you want to know for post wedding and the rest of your life that you chose someone that could capture a million emotions you are feeling the day of with photos. We love Erin and we know you will too!

  About 800 Framable Photos

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our photographer was one of my priority areas. I must have spent a thousand hours going through portfolios. I was looking for a lot of specifics: I wanted to see really nice posed photos AND really great candids. I wanted for the posed photos to have a variety of poses and for the couple to look relaxed and comfortable. I wanted a photographer who would stay for the whole wedding and not leave when the cake was cut. I wanted classic photos that were framable, not artsy shots. I wanted real colors that would be true to the day (as opposed to the current light and airy trend). I wanted to get along easily with our photographer since she would be around us the whole day. And I didn't want to overpay. Erin was that unicorn who met each criterion and then some.
  
  We asked to do our engagement session at the Tidal Basin during the Cherry Blossoms, and Erin was extremely knowledgable about the permit process, timing, and where to get the best shots. She was great at directing us to get the best pose, but not so directing that we weren't natural. We felt at ease around her, and it showed in the photos. She was great about noticing if I had a hair out of place, too!
  
  Because we opted to not get a videographer, we wanted the set of photos to tell the whole story of the day. And they do. They are so wonderful, and we are so happy with them. We have the one for the big frame narrowed down to about 25--there are so many great shots it's difficult to choose! It was pouring rain the day we got married, but she easily adapted our initial outdoor photo plan to indoor/covered areas. She wasn't in any of the shots of the ceremony that our guests took, yet she managed to get perfect action shots of us and our bridal party. In fact, I don't really remember seeing her once the reception started until we did the sparkler exit-- but she was there capturing so many wonderful moments that I would have otherwise missed.
  
  And she was able to give us a preview of about 100 photos TWO DAYS after our wedding! It was such a wonderful honeymoon surprise! The entire set took a little longer-- I think a month? But it was within the timeframe she had promised to us. It's very easy to order prints or albums through her portal.
  
  She is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and obviously a very talented photographer. I would (and have!) recommend her to everyone, and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I can't speak for James, but I had a hard time even thinking about it all during our honeymoon and the weeks following. I wanted to forget so much of what had happened. But thank God for your pics. Once I saw the sneak peek, I felt like a new person. I remember James watching me scroll through and saying, "Great, I finally have my girl back. . . " :). I couldn't stop looking at the pictures and knowing for sure I had made an outstanding choice. Really, you worked so hard to make everything special--moving rugs out the way, running around outside in the rain to get a shot of the house, and being around when no one else was there in the waiting room with me (where were they?????). I'm not just gassing you when I say you were our favorite vendor :). Erin, you just went above and beyond to make our pictures classic, elegant, fun, and timeless. Your pictures are art. So thanks, thanks, thanks. I can't say enough how we appreciate what you did for us. I'm so ready to show these pictures off and buy a photo album.

  I cannot possibly say enough good things about Erin. She was absolutely wonderful from the first email to the last shot on our wedding day. My husband and I had a great first meeting with Erin – she made us feel right at home in her home and even surprised us with a possible wedding day timeline later that night addressing some of the concerns we had mentioned about timing! Then Erin made sure her guide for couples and thank you note were some of the first mail we received in our new apartment! So sweet! Next she made us so comfortable during engagement shoot (a feat for my photophobic husband!) and we were SO HAPPY with how our photos turned out. At some point along the way, my husband shared that one of his favorite things about Erin is her amazing communication – even if she didn’t have time to respond right away, she emailed us to make sure we knew she had gotten our email and would get back to us shortly! As we got closer to the big day, Erin patiently worked with us through several revisions of our timeline. And when the big day came, Erin and her assistant Emily did a great job of “capturing the moment” without inserting themselves in the moment. I honestly didn’t even notice they were there most of the time! They made sure we stayed on schedule and got the photos we wanted – and boy did they ever get the photos we wanted! We were so excited to get the first sneak peak photo, and then some more when she posted about our wedding on her blog. Then the day finally came for our full album reveal, and we couldn’t be happier. Our photos are wonderful and we are so thankful to Erin and Emily for capturing our special day so perfectly!!!

  I cannot possibly say enough good things about Erin. She was absolutely wonderful from the first email to the last shot on our wedding day. My husband and I had a great first meeting with Erin – she made us feel right at home in her home and even surprised us with a possible wedding day timeline later that night addressing some of the concerns we had mentioned about timing! Then Erin made sure her guide for couples and thank you note were some of the first mail we received in our new apartment! So sweet! Next she made us so comfortable during engagement shoot (a feat for my photophobic husband!) and we were SO HAPPY with how our photos turned out. At some point along the way, my husband shared that one of his favorite things about Erin is her amazing communication – even if she didn’t have time to respond right away, she emailed us to make sure we knew she had gotten our email and would get back to us shortly! As we got closer to the big day, Erin patiently worked with us through several revisions of our timeline. And when the big day came, Erin and her assistant Emily did a great job of “capturing the moment” without inserting themselves in the moment. I honestly didn’t even notice they were there most of the time! They made sure we stayed on schedule and got the photos we wanted – and boy did they ever get the photos we wanted! We were so excited to get the first sneak peak photo, and then some more when she posted about our wedding on her blog. Then the day finally came for our full album reveal, and we couldn’t be happier. Our photos are wonderful and we are so thankful to Erin and Emily for capturing our special day so perfectly!!!

  We first met Erin at a bridal show and were really taken with her style. Having a photographer that could capture candids and the emotion of the day was very important to us, and she excelled at that. She captured so many amazing moments that really touched our hearts. She was also able to work through a fairly long list of portraits and group shots, wrangling large groups of people and kids at times, making sure that we didn’t have to spend too much time away from our guests and reception while taking pictures. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

  We really loved having Erin as the photographer for our wedding. Both of us are generally camera shy and don't like being the center of attention, but Erin was so patient and helpful, by the time the wedding day came, we barely noticed the camera and were able to focus on each other, our family, and friends. The result was a beautiful collection of pictures that captured the joyful spirit of the day and a gorgeous album as a lasting memento.   Best decision we ever made.

  Erin, where do I begin? When we first started our search for a wedding photographer, we created a spreadsheet with 10 different individuals, all ranging in price and different techniques. We eventually narrowed that list down to five and interviewed with all five photographers. While everyone had great personalities, Erin's professionalism, questions, responses, and overall attitude was by far superior to any others. My husband and I knew from the beginning that we really didn't have a choice. We had to choose Erin. And, wow, did that pay off. Feeling confident in your photographer makes the whole wedding planning experience 100 times better. It's the one thing that you know lasts beyond the big day. Erin made this choice easy. After our first discussion, we chose her and within a month we had a date for our engagement photos. That day was changed twice due to weather, with NO penalization by Erin. Thats right, on the mornings when we woke up with rain, Erin immediately emailed us to reschedule. Fast forward to the day of our engagement session, we showed up late and frantic, but that didn't matter. Erin did her magic on our photos and made them look like she had captured the shots as the sun rose up. It was unbelievable. The photographs are breathtaking. Then, we had the long eight month wait to the day of. Again, I cannot stress enough how important it is to be confident in your photographer. It made it much more exciting that our big day would be preserved in the best possible way. On the day of, Erin, along with her assistant Emily (WHO IS FREAKING AWESOME TOO!) promptly arrived to the bridal suite and immediately began pictures. My six bridesmaids and big family can be quite overwhelming, but both Erin and Emily handled them so well. We ran behind at the bridal suite because I was taking too long to get ready, but no big deal. Erin was able to adjust the schedule, on the go, and we were still able to get everything in. Literally everything my husband and I had asked for, they got. I had said from the beginning that I wanted her to capture my husbands reaction when I was walking down the aisle (we did not opt for a first look). She caught him crying (which I never thought I'd see the day). She also caught the beautiful photos of my bridesmaids and I walking in. She was running up and down the stairs to ensure she got pictures not only from the ground floor, but also from above.Then, at one point during dinner, she came running up to me because a rainbow had appeared outside. We were actually able to capture my husband and I outside with the rainbow in the background. Then during the dancing and speeches, Erin captured the most beautiful pictures of our family and friends having the best time. At the end of the night, I was actually sad to say goodbye to Erin and Emily. They made the night so much more special than I really could not have predicted. They brought such great attitudes and gave us so much comfort, even when we were frantically scrambling to get things accomplished. Just to reiterate, theses photographs are amazing. I have friends from all over sharing them on facebook and asking for her number. I am so happy I will have these forever. Erin, you truly made our wedding so incredibly special. Keenan and I are so happy we picked you. Truly one of our best decisions. Thank you so so so much!!!

Without her help, guidance and genuine interest in seeing the job done right I doubt we ever would have gotten the albums completed. Erin takes pride in every event she photographs and her attention to detail is unmatched. You can't put a price on that sort of customer service, particularly when trying to capture one of the biggest days of your life.

  We just knew that we had to hire Erin after viewing the beautiful work that we saw displayed on her website. Even though our venue was in Cape Cod, we knew that Erin’s artistic eye would be able to capture our day perfectly.
  
  Erin kept an open line of communication through phone calls and emails prior to the wedding. We first discussed what we were hoping to capture and additionally, Erin communicated to us, through her experience, what many people traditionally like to see in their photos. Erin had taken the time to research the site prior to our wedding and had a clear plan for the photos she was going to take. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early, was organized and efficient while keeping things fun and light. She was a complete professional from the moment she arrived.
  
  Erin was timely in getting our photographs edited and making them available to us. It was clear from the finished product that she put just as much effort into editing the photos as she did in taking them. The photos were beautiful, captivating, and breath taking. We are so thrilled with the product and can’t stop looking at them!
  
  We also had Erin design our photo albums. She had many ideas and options for us to choose from. The albums are unlike anything we have seen before, they are beautiful prints made from high quality materials that perfectly sum up our wedding day. We love the albums and will treasure them for years to come.
